A pharaonic offer to join Manchester City was, however, only due to some heavy drinking.

Noel Gallagher, the Oasis guitar player, has said he was willing to offer Paolo Maldini 11,5 million euros to see him play with the shirt of his favorite team, Manchester City, come next season.

However, when he found out that Maldini took it seriously and actually considered accepting the offer, Gallagher took it back and said he only made that proposal while drunk at a party.

What a joke (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I have read once that Maldini said couple years ago: "The only club I would consider leaving Milan for is Real Madrid"

Noel Gallagher is a p_ssy. I remember him saying back in 1995 that Damon Albarn and Alex James from Blur "catch fucking AIDS and die". Then the next day he claimed he was drunk and did not intend to say those words. Oh, and he wanted Del Piero to come too, cause he's an Oasis fan.

PAOLO MALDINI: 'Gallagher? Never seen him or heard from him'
9/16/2006
MILANELLO - Paolo Maldini commented on an article in English tabloid that Oasis lead-singer Noel Gallagher claimed he had convinced the Milan captain to come and play for Manchester City. Maldini said: 'I've never seen him or heard from Gallagher or his manager. I want to make that clear.' The singer also admitted he was drunk on the susposed evening he said this.

No, Goal has nothing to do with it. I've read this story one week ago on calciomercato.com and I'm sure Noel said those words. The fact is he was drunk and as I said before, he's a p_ssy and says a lot of bullshit.

No, that's not what I'm saying. Noel said that stuff, but it's not true that Maldini actually considered his proposal. It's a f@cking lie! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

welcome back ... I think it's not his last year, but it may all come down to how it goes ... I mean if he has a bad injury-plagued year he might retire come this summer. But then again ... who knows!!!???

Yeah the 'Ittihad' team of Saudi Arabia, have been linked with Kaka too last season, when they qualified for the Club WC .. They wanted to loan him for the period of the tournament, but Kaka (as any person with the right sensible state of mind would do...) declined.

Kalon was another player they had .. I guess they are a rich club, but they arent a CL club, so go figure why the best dont want to go there (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

this all thing about Gallagher really made me laugh a lot .... and I agree with dst, thinking about Paolo leaving Milan would be worse than removing a tatto from your body ... I guess that a lot of people would joing dst with heart attacks if something like that would happen (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) ... that goal.com is just hillarious (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
