Milan are planning a fresh bid to sign Barcelona star Ronaldinho. “We would do all that is in our power to sign him,†said owner Silvio Berlusconi. The Brazilian is a dream capture for the Rossoneri President and he’s ready to make a sensational offer if the player was ever to leave his current club. “Ronaldinho is destined to remain a dream, at least for the time being, as Barcelona are not willing to discuss a transfer for the player,†stated the former Italian Prime Minister. “However, if the conditions were to change then Milan would definitely be interested in making an offer,†continued the club chief. “Ronaldinho is an extraordinary player, one who can really make the difference and we would do all that is in our power to sign him.†The Brazilian star was paired with a move to Milan during the summer, but no firm offer was ever made by the Via Turati club for the player who is contracted to the Nou Camp outfit until 2014. However, the side’s hopes of seeing Ronaldinho at the San Siro in the future were boosted after Ricardo Oliveira finalised his transfer to Milan – as his agent is Roberto de Assis, the brother of the Balon d’Or winner. Berlusconi is now praying in a similar scenario to the one which saw Alessandro Nesta join the San Siro side in 2002. “We had said that we would not sign Nesta because he was a symbol of Lazio,†explained the President. “But the Biancocelesti then changed their mind and decided that the player was no longer untransferable, so we then made our offer and signed him. “I hope something similar may happen with Ronaldinho. If Barcelona should change their mind then we will be ready to take advantage of the situation.†channel4.com

(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Silvio has previously said that his dream is to have BOTH of them playing at Milan. So, no I don't think Kaka would be an issue. That Kaka to Real, Ronnie to us rumour was just started by the papers.

QUOTE (LaPalma @ Sep 15 2006, 02:06 PM) Well, you know that, and I know that, but someone has to tell Silvio... Right. He said Brocchi and Jankulovski are the wingbacks of the future. Now, I agree on Janku, but Brocchi? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) On topic, I've said it many times, I don't want Gaucho to come. We have a superb midfield, no need for him. Damn I wish I was Silvio, Torres would already be ours.

I know...my friends look at me as if I'm from Mars when I said I'm glad gaucho isn't playing for Milan. They shut up a little after they saw the Kaka goal in the Argentina friendly

hey guys, I just dont get it! YOU dont like Ronnie in our team!!!!! OK I undersand that we have a great midfield, but hey come on, nowdays every team is trying to have a lot of world-class players in their side, even if they have to stay on the bench. Remember the seasons are being much harder... team rotation is essential. Fatigue causes a lot of problems to players who play regularly and super-subs are needed. (of course I'm not saying to sign Ronnie as e sub, but I'm saying that we need more than 4 high-class midfielders if we wanna win CH.L. and Serie A) Look at Chelsea, Real, Barcelona, Inter are signing very good players just to keep as a substitutes and maybe you say from all these 4 teams only Barca is playing well... but dont forgett that the season is looong and as they have a deep squad they will be much fitter at the end.

QUOTE (redbabies @ Sep 17 2006, 07:09 AM) hey guys, I just dont get it! YOU dont like Ronnie in our team!!!!! i think what some people here really mean that we need other players right now.. getting Dinho means we have to pour out a lot of money coz i dont think Barca wil let him go that easily.. and that money can go somewhere else like our defence maybe.. Il Capitano and Billy is not getting any younger.. plus we have great midfield.. we basically get through last year CL with the same midfield until we were stopped by Barcelona.. and they got through not because of Ronaldinho.. and he was kinda invisible during the final.. it's great to have him.. but, we have another department to take care of

We definitely could spend our money better. IMO we've already got the brazilian that makes us great. Were as good as any if we had a more solid stable defense.
Personally I think there are far better options. Hmm does seem crazy not wanting the current best player in the world. AHHH WELL.

QUOTE (redbabies @ Sep 17 2006, 09:46 AM) KAKA and Ronnie of course can play together and here are some of the options: 1. KAKA as an attacking midfielder and Ronnie as a second striker. (imagine KAKA-Ronnie-Oliveira 3 Brazilians- all of them fast) 2. Ronnie as a left attacking midfielder, and KAKA as an attacking midfielder. 3. Ronnie attacking midflielder, KAKA right attacking midfielder. But of course thats just a dream coz Barca wont let him go!!!!! well not in Brazil though, only one of them stands out whenever both of them plays together I'd like Ronnie to come (of course) but his arrival could jeorpadise Kaka's dream of becoming legend here at Milan

QUOTE (Denis_prishtina @ Sep 17 2006, 01:24 PM) If R10 comes , the main question is : WHAT TO DO WITH GOURCUFF ? how's this for you!!?? -Gattuso-Pirlo-Gourcuff --Ricky------------------ -------------R10--------- ----Gila/Pippo----------- !!!!???? Anyway ... I hope Gourcuff amazes Silvio so much that he quits his Gaucho dreams and goes for the defence instead!!!!
