Trofeo TIM

The Trofeo Tim, featuring the elite trio of Juventus, Inter and Milan, will be held at the San Siro this coming August 31st, with each game lasting 45 minutes. Inter and Milan will battle it out in the first tie, kick-off scheduled for 20.30, with both winner and loser of the derby then taking on Juventus.

I think many people will be looking foward to this tournament. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yes then we'll really see who is best in Italy, if Juve could beat them with all their star players gone I'm sure we'll give them a hammering they deserve

Give the guy a break, it was his first match for I Rossoneri and he probably was close to a nervous breakdown. Have in mind that he's never played a game for such a side like Milan. Though I thought the goals were a bit easy, surely we must give him some time. Remember Kalac in the Coppa last season... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Of course, from what I've seen of Coppola in Ascoli last season he didn't impress one bit, so getting Amelia would be very nice. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

To bad some players will be out on the NT. So... this tournament will be nothing special. Too bad.

But obviously I demand a victory vs. Inter and Yube.

We shall see. But don't forget that Juve will probably have all their starters, except for Buffon, Camo and Trazeguet.

I think our best formation for this one would be (I'm not sure of all the players that won't be here because of NT call ups)

-----------------Dida--------------- (I don't think he got called up by dunga)
Cafu--Bonera--Favalli--Serginho
---Brocchi---Gourcuff---Foggia--
-------------Seedorf--------------
-------Amoroso--Boriello--------

I think that this would be our best possible formation, Because Gourcuff doesn't have the physical strentgh YET, required for that position, I put Seedorf in the playmaker role, because I know he can be very effective there. Brocchi can do Rino's job, Gourcuff in my oppinion can play Pirlo's position very well and I think that in him we have found a potential sub for Pirlo if he is injured or off form, because he can steel the ball like Pirlo does and makes very clever passes.

And Foggia should start, last season's showings and his showings in the U-21s should be proof enough of how talented he is, Carlo shouldn't ignore him

Who the hell are these 2 Aubameyang W, Aubameyang P. Where are they from? China?

Yeah I know, if it wasn't said it would be funny.

Man too bad Gourcuff won't ba available, I really wanted to see him play again

I gues Our best formation with that so called line-up would be

--------------Kalac-------------
Bonera--Billy--Nesta--Maldini
--Brocchi--Bottini--Seedorf--
-------------Kaka--------------
------Amoroso--Boriello------

Btw, how come Kaka will be available and Dida, Serginho and Cafu won't?

I'm glad to see Maldini and Nesta back though. Hopefully the games won't be too rough and no one gets injured

Seedorf MOM. Amazing game tonight.

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) The ex-Interisti playing for us right now seem like they are giving it their all. Seedorf, Favalli and Simic all had a great game. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Now I can't wait for the derby to come Imagine what we will do to them when our REAL squad plays.

But I see Inter's lineup was more "powerful" taking into account the names of players (espacially the attacking positions )

Very good, hope the the derby's result will be something around this (2-0, 3-1, 4-0, 5-0, 6-0, 7-0,) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

In less than 45 minutes.

QUOTE
TIM TROPHY: MILAN 2-1 INTER
8/31/2006
MILAN - Milan defeated Inter 2-1 in the first leg of the triangular tournament. Inter went in front on 19 minutes, Julio Cruz got free of Paolo Maldini’s marking at the back post to fire home a low shot. Guiseppe Favalli equalised on 32 minutes when Clarence Seedorf slipped the ball inside the defence and the full-back placed his shot in at the near post. The Rossoneri then went in front on 36 minutes when Borrielo turned in the area and swept a left-footed shot in off the post. Carlo Ancelotti's men will now sit out the next 45 minutes at the San Siro as Inter take on Juventus and the Rossoneri will then play the Bianconeri.

He always shows bits and pieces, but he can't seem to keep his form. When I saw him a few years ago, I was like WOW! This is my new favorite player. But he never kept his form. I really hope he is gonna prove himself this season!

I've heard I've never really seen him ... I was just kidding before, but his performances were pretty solid so far and not of a player that has always been a leftover (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Yeah, 2 goals 2 assists from him. Hopefully he'll play like this for the whole season

So now how does this work, do we HAVE to win it, to win the trophy?

Yeah, I didn't know that they where going to take penalties, I missed the first 2.

btw what the hell is wrong with Adriano, he can't even score a penalty. Imo he should have left Inter when he had the chance they are ruining him.

He is gonna suck really bad this year. I think Mancini will have no choice but to bench him then and you know what happens when THE BIG ADRIANO is benched...
