Milan owned midfielder Samuele Dalla Bona is on the verge of joining Serie B giants Napoli, his agent has stated.

“We’re on the last lap of negotiations,” Claudio Pasquali told Radio Kiss Kiss as rumours of a move gathered pace.

“There is a desire from all parties to close these talks by the end of this week,” added the representative.

“The prospect of moving down to the Second Division? Serie B will be very competitive this season, it will almost become a Serie A2.”

Napoli will be gunning for promotion along with demoted Juventus, newly promoted Genoa and Bologna in 2006-07.

Dalla Bona is understood to be keen on a switch after failing to really settle in Italian football following his move from Chelsea in 2002.

He joined Milan back then but has been subsequently loaned out to the likes of Bologna, Lecce and Sampdoria in recent seasons.

Dalla Bona, born in 1981, is currently training with the Rossoneri who last night beat Red Star Belgrade 1-0 in the Champions League.

Now, get rid of Brocchi and Amoroso. I would be a happy man.

nope...with the kind of strength we have I wouldn't sell those two. Amoroso I'll keep even if it's only for Treviso...

Brocchi could also be needed if bad comes to worse

Sweet! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Brocchi? no way, he was one of the best MFs in the league with I Viola last season! It was a dumb move putting him at RB against Lecco, but then I suppose we didn't have much choice. He's our replacement for Rino, as Ambro & Vogel are for Pirlo & Seedorf. Midfield is sorted, Diarra? No thanks! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) What, you mean loan him out to Treviso? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) If that's what you mean it's not a bad idea. We obviously need a DECENT second striker - that's our priority along with a class CB. Meanwhile Borriello can warm the bench. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) He's our younger, less talented & less experienced replacement for Superpippo! Some of you come down very hard on Amoroso when in reality we haven't really seen him play that much.

Did any of you see him in the friendly he was making great dribbles and a lot of step overs, sort of remenecsent of the young Ronaldo and he almost scored plus he gave a great assist to Boriello, so I doin't know why a lot of people crittcise him so much here, he could be a great bargaining chip for us if we need to buy a striker from a team that is currently loaded with them and needs a player that wouldn't complain about staying most of the time on the bench (get the meaning (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

True, no I didn't see the Lecco match thanks to Canale 5 blocking it! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) The young Ronaldo at 32yrs old or whatever he is? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'd love to have seen that! I don't mean to criticise him, it's just that we need a great, young(ish) support striker & he doesn't fit the bill. Yea, totally agree with the bargaining chip idea (was already pinning my hopes on it!) If he's good enough to warm someone else's bench then good luck to him, but Milan need young talent!
