Theres not many options is there.

I guess Milan have been waiting to draw this trial out, get a position in the champions league and then focus on getting top signings.

Ibras young and has potential-- he is one of the few that could come in and play a Scheva like role(not that he could fill his shoes) He has a future and maybe could settle in Milan.

You are sure we have even one of them?

And no plus - striker? The season with just Pippo, Gila (if he plays like last season...) and Amoroso? Very pesimistic.. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I would be content with a good RB or LB, but the only real great player went to Barca - Zambrotta. We should have brought him... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Maybe yes if we play the X-mas tree, and rotate Pippo with Gila. And what if someone gets injuried? I don`t count much on Amoroso, and fear Gila. But the reason I am pesimistic is all that rumble and pressure about the trail...all that could affected the players very badly (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) . It`s also up to Carlo to decide...

We don't need more "pure in-box striker". For that we have Gila and Pippo.

In 1 week we lost Crespo and Zlatan. Who's next? Buffon to Inter? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Why would Inter beat us easily? Cause of Crespo and Ibra? More concerned about Grosso...No, Inter won`t beat us. It does not all come to a sucessfull transfer market year. But, I still have hope, and I have a feeling a suprise transfer will come in. The market isn`t closed. And you allways can say: Milan kept Kaka! But honestly, we could bring Gigi and why not Tevez, or someone...you will see, we are going to get a reinforcement soon (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

Applaus (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Your positive thinking is what we need right now ..

To be honest all Inter did was added a left back .. That is all .. cz Zlatan and Crespo are just there to fill the void left by Martins and whoever else will leave them. I don't think Inter will beat us .. No not when this scudetto is between us and them, I think we will kick *** to close down on the deficit and then close down on them.

The merda every season have an amazing squad .. But don't bring back the results that match the expectations ...

Remember last season, everyone in this forum was talking about what a chance Inter would have .. Look what happened the diff between them was more than a dozen points, so go figure (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

I'm a little bit worried about something I never saw.

In old days, every player used to prefer Milan to Inter (anyday). Now, in 1 week, 2 good strikers preferred the Nerazzurri to Milan.

Yes we kept Kaka', so what? Have you look to our strikers list?

Well, I hope you're right. 20 days... 20 days left.

20 days can produce 2 signings. Also loans, and the winter transfer window (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .

2 good strikers...hmmm...we have lost Crespo, but in my opinion we have lost him a year ago when he returned to Chelsea. Ibra? My opinion - thank god he did not join AC! We don`t need him around. To sign Ibra is a typicall Inter move. Fast transfer without much thinking.

If we would tip the pretenders for the upcoming year only based on transfer activity Inter would be years on top. But no! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
I only hope the preparations were not to strongly hit by the Calciopoli scandal...
I must say our defence is even weaker then last year (we got Stam then...). But if we get a classy striker, we can wait till the winter intermezzo and the pick another CB (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) .

As far as I see, nothing to concern about...just a striker needed. And I am prepared to loose a whole season in search of a real talent striker, not an instant star like Ibra? That`s one of the things... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) has.

I'm assuming the Milan management will leave it late with the transfer market... like it did 3 years ago with nesta..rivaldo...But I hope whoever we buy comes to the club, and realizes a good oppurtunity to fight for a starting XI spot....(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Ibra would have had a good chance at doing that...but **** him..I'm glad that cocky son of a B***h (no offence to swedish fans) did'nt become a Milan player...Even when asked If he had a more swedish or Bosnian style of football...He replied "I have Zzzzlatan Style"....

Either way just want to calm a few nerves by saying that we looked really gd yesterday with our ball control and possession...Seedorf = 5.5 Plyr rating (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) .....and Im sure that a striker will be bought from outside Italy who will be interesting to watch with milan....ex.(Tevez?Torres?Villa?Saviola?)

After the Ibra thing to Inter I've sort of started to believe in our management again (you may think that I have gone crazy but listen to what I think will happen).

Do you all remember what Galliani said after we lost Sheva. That he would be replaced with an EQUAL and he wasn't going to be a well known star, because it won't work. This is what leeds me to believe that they had something up their sleeve all along that is why they let Sheva go that easily to begin with. I'm not sure if this "unknown" will be our present, maybe the present will be a great defender who knows.

The other possibilaty could be like I said in another thread, the Ibra smokescreen for a possible Adriano + one from Martins, Cruz or Recoba switch for Amoroso (someone who doesn't mind staying on the bench) + a good ammount of cash.

The reason I have a feeling that it could be Adriano is because we haven't been linked to him at all, just like bonera and look at what happened with all the players we have been linked to. Someone else we haven't been linked to at all is Tevez and they might swoop in for him, who knows he might be the surprise.

My only concern is not what they will do for our attack, because I'm pretty sure they already have that area covered, but will they make some good signings for our defence? Cafu' has made me renew my faith in him after last night, but at his age can he keep it up for the whole season? That's my only concern. That's why I think we are going to get Oddo, so far every player that has said that he wished he could play for us has come so I can't see why we can't get Oddo, isn't like 8 mil for Silvio the equivelent of what you and me find in change in between the couch cushions to him? And Gallas is still a big possibilaty since Galliani said that he was interested in getting him.

So people renew some faith in our management, if I have the ability to that after all the doubts I had in them I'm sure all you can (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

As I said before, we should launch a direct attack on Torres and offer something like 50 millions. He's indispensable for us, I don't know what Braida and Galliani are waiting for. A sign from god maybe? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Have the merda got two good strikers though? they have players with skills but their goal ratio is pathetic. I am delighted that they signed Ibra - let's hope he does his usual and disruspts the dressing room and misses all his chances (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ibra is probably the most overrated excuse for a footballer I have ever seen! him and the merda are a match made in heaven (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Aug 10 2006, 03:22 PM)

*

Next season, when they'll get 12 or 15 points in advance from us, then you'll say "after all, Adriano and Ibra doesn't work that bad".

I'm really sad with all this situation.

Just remember that we signed Gourcuff, IMO he will be a revelation just like Kaka (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
I also have a feeling that we will get Diarra; everyone is expecting him to go to real but he hasn't so far. And I heard that Braida went personally to Lyon to discuss signing Diarra+Braida and Galliani both went to watch some Lyon games last season. I just feel that Milan management are waiting on the final game with Red Star and should we qualify the signings will come.
We must have faith (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Whose going to score their goals then? they have six(I think) forwards who are hardly prolific. I would worry if they had bought a sheva type player but zlatan is truly awful (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Totally right, Zlatan had 2 season in serie A so far, and he has only got 23 goals, that's what a striker that can be called successful scores in 1 season, and it's not like his form improved, look at Pirlo or even Dida at the WC they put their horrible season behind them and performed great in the WC, Zlatan did absolutely nothing in the whole tournament, and personally I think it's mostly his atitude andthat is definately something that will noth change or improve at INTER, if anything it will get worse over there.

Look at the strikers they have that will mostly get the biggest playing time - Crespo, Zlatan and Adriano, Adriano had a terrible season last year, but that is partly because of his personal life and all the problems he had at Inter with the Argies, that's what leads me to believe that he isn't staying. Zlatan, was terrible last season, the season before he was OK scored some great goal, but still 16 goals is nothing to be very proud of especially if they are hailing you as the new Van Basten, Crespo in my oppinion is a great in box striker, but when he plays for a great club that has a serene atmosphere in the dressing room (definately not Inter), and look at the last time he played there, they practically ruined him, I'm pretty sure that he won't be a big success in his second try.

And look at their midfield, Figo is in the end of his carreer and god knows why he chose there to end his carreer, maybe he said to himself I want to go out piecfully and silently. Viera is another old player that doesn't have much left in him and if he thinks that he will be able to take a shot at the CL with inter then he is seriously mistaken

I am not afraid of Inter at all, but I'm afraid of ourselves. Han, you are very reasonable to think about Adriano. But, take a look, Inter tries to do everything to get Scu this season, includes buy players that Milan could buy just to prevent Milan strengthen the squad. So, I'm sure they won't let Adriano go.

These days people talks too much about Drogba, Tevez, Hunteleer, Suazo, ... but do you really think they are EQUAL with Sheva? If Milan keeps their promise, so we must get Torres, Henry, ... who all stays with their new/old club.

Rivaldo, Vieri >> if Barca and Inter didn't release them, we didn't buy them, I'm sure again. And in this season, there's no club who wants to release their top striker. The luck won't come too easy.

I highly doubt Buffon would accept Inter .. If not Milan, I think he would go abroad, i.e. if he is evaluating his options

Why even try for Diarra? We are more than well covered in midfield. It would be idiotic to spend half the sum we got for Sheva on a player we hardly need, instead of a really good attacker or defender. If we sign Diarra now that'll only mean that young prospects like Foggia and Gourcuff won't get enough time on the pitch to develop. It's already too much that we have to put such champions as Ambro, Vogel and Brocchi on the bench, now we're gonna add Seedorf as well?

The absolute dream would be if we signed Fernando Torres and William Gallas, my word that'd be too good to be true.

You can see this situation like this: At the beginning, surely Milan is stronger than Inter and almost players wanted to move to Milan (Etoo, Drogba, Crespo, Nistelrooy, Buffon, Gallas, ...). But after knowing our wonderful plan for the next season, everybody turns to Inter and Inter becomes much more advantages than Milan. So now, everybody will chose Inter instead of Milan.

Yes. If we get those two players we'll become invincible. Come on Silvio, don't be so cocky and sign them.
