Do you have a player that you really want to see in a Milan shirt right now ? Who and why ?? There are some who crossed my mind (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

1) Seitaridis (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Awesome player , could replace cafu (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) And would add some greek spirit to the team (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)
2) Totti (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Yes Totti , I know he can be arrogant , but I know Milan will change his attitude to become a more complete footballer.
3) Christiano ronaldo : Rui Costa still is Great !!! But he's aging and it would be wise if we had a fellow countryman youngster like Christiano to replace him when he retires or decides to move.
4) Kompany : Great talented young player ! I see him every week in belgium and the boy is made to be a star !

plz continue (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Puyol !
Although NOBODY would ever replace IL Capitano, but I think Puyol can minimize the lost when Paolo retires...
ZAMBROTTA is great too, and we always had shortage in his position.

I'd like to see Frank Rijkaard as our new coach after Carletto's era ends, that would be either summer 2006 or 2007. The only problem is that his time at Barca might not yet be over when we need to fill the vacancy.

Other potentials are:

Franco Baresi, coach of the Primavera (Milan youth squad)
Roberto Donadoni, Livorno coach
Marco Van Basten, Holland national team coach

D: Kompany, Coloccini (we shouldn't sell him anyway!)

M: Ricardo Quaresma (as new Rui Costa and maybe even better than Kaka')

A: Fernando Torres - I have no words for this boy... he is simply magical

These are my dream signings at the moment.

P.S. I wanted Totti for the past 2 or 3 years but now I realize that he is not worthy of wearing the holy rosso-nero shirt. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Definetly Ciciniho....... I am a big fan of the "Express Train" but the train one day will run out of fuel. Besides this will take the average age down a little. Lets be Honest We all love our back Four but we must think whats best for our milan. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Realistically:
Kompany
Cicinho
Alex

Dream:
Mourinho
Terry
Ronaldinhio
Hènry
Essien

We definitely need a replacement for Cafu and two players that spring to my mind are Oddo and Mesto, although Mesto is still young and inexperienced.

We could also do with strengthening our CB position as well and Alex is one possibility, the other is Vincent Kompany. From what I've heard Kompany is fantastic and could also play in midfield(like Desailly), and we need to strengthen our midfield.

Whether we get any of these players remains to be seen, let's hope Galliani doesn't go for the free option again (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Why do you guys keep on on Cicinho? He has already decided to join the Brazil wagon at Real, so forget about him.

I would like Kompany, Alex, Riquelme (now that's real talent), Oddo/Mesto. And don't you think Mexes can realise his potentials with a better team? I won't mind Grosso for the left back.

Dream transfer? José Mourinho.

He said he want to leave Chelsea in 3, 4 years... and want to go to Italy... so, maybe 1 day. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Capello. But I will support Ancelotti as long as he remains with us.

As for players, I wouldn't mind seeing Buffon joining us, but I do love Dida very very very much. Maybe Kompany too.

He is doing all right. I haven't watched many matches of his, basically what I know about him is from newspaper and reports.

REcently, I have watched him play twice. Firstly, he played for Germany NT against China in a friendly; then he played in the CL match with Juventus. both matches, he played decently. Interestingly, in both matches, he played out of his natural position. I believe he should be a midfielder (I could be wrong though), but in the two games, he played as right fullback and left fullback. He was called upon and I think he responded well and fulfilled his duty.

Although I couldn't see too much of his attacking ability, I think his versatility should be a great asset to any team. Waht's more valuable, he is so young! he is still a B-team member of Bayern Munich.

compared to the 2-match ban Veron received, the red and one-match ban were really too much for Totti.

He didn't seem to mind at all. He looked so happy when he left the pitch. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) and missing Ascoli match is not so bad after all. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) better than missing the fight with Dopers. you can say that again.

we lost 2 points there, and Juventus was only lucky to get 3 points from them.

the funniest post I saw today has to be the juventus fan who claimed a fair score should have been 2-3. as Nedved should be awarded a penalty, DP's last-minute shot should have scored if not for Dida's heroics. Also, we our third one shouldn't count.

I am talking of our defeated rivals but i should say the best transfer should be Zlatan Ibrahimovic, he would be a great addition to our team i can just see him finding his form with Sheva and Inzaghi.

Also thinking we need a good back like Alex or vicent Kompany (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Then watch the unstopable Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Players that need to go next summer:

Simic (not good enough) ,Costacurta (retirement) ,Stam (too old and want to leave) ,Rui costa (it's time) ,Vogel(not good enough) ,Vieri (it's not the same player anymore).
Cafu ,Sirgihno and Inzaghi : summer 2006 or year after
Maldini (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (it's hard to imagine Milan without this enormous player)

Players we need:

Gallas (great player can play on any position in defence)
Kompany/Alex/Felipe/Yepes (we need young defender)
Sagnol (good defender and free)
Ballack (one of the best in his position and free)
Cassano (free) / Toni (instead of Vieri it'sa good deal) / Torres (great potential)

Dream transfers:

Ronaldinho , Buffon , Adriano , Gerrard , Lampard , Robben , Tevez , Lucio , Terry

There were a couple of decent players from PSV who I wouldn't mind seeing at Milan, the one who caught my eye was Aissati who was only 17(I think). He never once seemed fazed and had a good game.
I also thought that Alex played well and from what i've heard, he wants to play for us anyway (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Dream transfer? José Mourinho.

He said he want to leave Chelsea in 3, 4 years... and want to go to Italy... so, maybe 1 day. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
*

What Jose Mourinho will bring to Milan?
1. Nutter Agression
2. Dirty tricks: like kill the game within half an hour with Drogba or Robben and waste the rest of the game by playing boring football.
3. Bring his Chelsea contingent: Drogba, Essien, Lampard, Terry, Gallas, Robben, Crespo, etc and leave Chelsea with nothing.
4. Sell Sheva and buy African players rising as talents in the WC 2006( this assuming he joins Milan after WC 2006)
5. Bring rotation systems and kill talents like Kaka’,Gilla, Rino,Pirlo.
6. He will argue with refree decisions after every game and bring the game to disrepute
And we will win titles at the cost of all this?
We won the UCL in 2003 with almost the same team as we have now and didn’t use dirty tricks like Mourinho.
I think we should let Anceloti to continue. Then bring someone like Beckenbeauer or Voller or van Basten or C.Maldini or Sir Alex and put a fresh assistant to learn lot of things for two to three years then build a team to its strengths.
Also IL CAPTINO under Signor Cesare Maldini would be the best choice.
I think we will with this patnership of father and son will overtake real Madrid in Europe as the most attractive, Successful team. We, I hope will also beat real’s record of 9 titles in Europe as well as 6 titles in a row

Player would be Thierry Henry, which I think kind of explains itself. After Ancelotti leaves, I'd love to see van Basten return to coach the side. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

I think Ash means that at that age he will need regular football. Pippo and Vieri realise at their ages they are going to end up on the bench far more than Sheva (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) +Gila (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) .
I think we should be looking to our youth players for backup - I think we played Ardemagni(sp?) against Chelsea pre season and he looked ok. We also played Marzoratti at the end of last season and he looked ok as well - give trhem more playing time because that is the only way that they will develop.

I think you are right. Aissati was so young you would think he would get 'consumed' by those tough games. Alex is the type of defender we need to patner Nesta in the middle. He's solid, hardly commit dangerous fouls or attract unneccesary cards. I know he would jump at the opportunity of playing for us. The issue is Galliani and Co. are not so keen on getting defenders now.

Another excellent acquisition would be Henry. Or Torres, as I think we really need to sign another striker in the summer. Vieri and Pippo are not in their best while the former may leave unless he does a "Crespo" before the end of the season.

I read today that Vieri would be sold to some Spanish club in the transfer window, and we'll see Crespo come the other way from Chelsea.
I doubt it'd happen though.

I agree on going with Henry. I watched a couple Arsenal games before and after his injury, and the team just looks like an offensive mess without him......In league Milan have made teams look like they should go back to the B league, shutting them down both offensively and defensively. Yet in CL what is missing is a clutch finisher like Henry to work with Sheva and Kaka, to use against strong defensive marking systems like the one PSV used. Imagine Henry, Sheva, Kaka, and Pirlo all working together. Henry is a great playmaker and one of the best finishers, I think his style of play could complement Sheva's.

And Henry might be leaving Arsenal this summer, so its not just a dream but a possibility.

QUOTE (BoomAM @ Nov 11 2005, 04:23 PM)
I read today that Vieri would be sold to some Spanish club in the transfer window, and we'll see Crespo come the other way from Chelsea.
I doubt it'd happen though.
*

Vieri out - Crespo in?

I think there may be some truth behind it, Crespo is not happy at Chelsea at the moment and apparently he has fallen out with Mourinho already.

Wouldnt say no to him. However i dont think that he'll slot right back in as he probably thinks he will. Competition for places is significantly higher this time. With Gila getting into his stride, Inzaghi now fit and Sheva, being, well, Sheva! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , i dont think Crespo can be assured of a first team place as often as last season.

absolutely ... last year we played with three strikers only ... now, gila found his form back ... we will likely to start ahead of crespo ...

but imagine, if crespo comes ... we'd have shevchenko, gilardino, crespo and inzaghi ...

isn't that deadly?

I actually read an article recently that stated Crespo was going to stay in Chelsea. This is what he said

"I will stay. When I came back three months ago, I signed a new contract for one more year. So why do I need to change something after three months?"

I guess he's going to show the special one, that he's a first choice. He wasn't even apart of the reserves for the Manchester United loss.

Yes, this is why a lot of the media believe him and Mourinho have had a very big fall out.

Pires? No way, he's so past it, but everyone is entitled to their own opinion.

May Torres matchs our demand?

The current situation seems to be: any extra attackers, even if world class as Henry, joining our side would be a luxury to an already splendid offensive line. our defense, however, is facing the unavoidable aging problem. there just aren't many talents available on the market, and a big team like Milan don't trust newbies and can't afford that.

it is very different from the time when Baresi and Maldini were used as teenagers. I am sure that they stood out themselves, but somehow I have some feeling that this may never happen again in Milan. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

my dream transfer :1) Christian Chivu
-the next maldini and i hope he is better than maldini. he is also good in free kick.

2) Vincent Kompany
-will replace stam and play along nesta at the centre back. For a team who plays attractive football like Milan, he is the right choice. Adding creativity at the back also. I heard Chelsea are now interested in him..

Will Milan buy them to strengthen the defense?? January..~!! Here we come!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
