Now that fiore, juve, and lazio have been relegated, i just hope milan has the clear idea to sign new players from those teams, but actually the most importnant are tree, cannavaro, buffon and zambrotta, i dont think milan ac will have an oportunity like this in the future o near by.. i just hope they dont waste it.

I agree but i would still enjoy seeing Oddo in a milan jersey next season. I hope we can get all four but there are still others i would like on Milan. But for the time bieng who would u rather Oddo or Cannavaro?

I think Buffon and Oddo might just be sure things since both expressed their desire to join Milan even before all this broke out and know that their clubs are relegated it's almost already a done deal I think.

Zambrotta is another big possibilaty since he wants to stay in Italy and has admitted that he has been in talks with Milan.

Cannavaro I'm not sure but is another one that has stated that he wanted to stay in Italy and I'm pretty sure he won't go to Inter considering his nightmare stint over there

I'm not so sure about Toni he just doesn't seem to cut it on the big stage, and is not a good replacement for Sheva. A good replacement for Sheva would be Tevez, I don't trust Spanish players and Torres I think could just blow up in our faces after spending 40mil on him and is a very big risk of flopping in serie A

Replace Torres with Zambrotta and that would make up my wishlist of players I would want.

I prefer Torres, I'm also afraid of Tevez cannot play well with European style.

However, they are very good players for us. Also, all the players have a risk of failure or success so we shouldn't think too much about it.

It seems that now MILAN has a change of plans because they wont play in CL next year
Torres its almoust soure that he wont come
Crespo is the big target now
Cannavaro probably prefers a team that plays in CL
Zambrotta and Buffon they want to remain in ITALY but MILAN have to pay serious money for them

You have to think that spanish players dont fit in italy. Torres is a good player but will he still bethat good in milan? Crespo likes and fits in Italian football. What aboiut him?

I think crespo, Toni or maybe Iaquinta could be good in Milan. Cannavaro would be an excellent player too.

why not spanish players ? Whats wrong with them playing in italy???we had Javi moreno before...and i think milan not playing in CL this year is a reason for top player not coming to milan... and with -15 i think it would be difficult to quallify for nexr years CL! with gourcuff coming and kaka pushed up a bit we might not even need a new striker. gila and pippo would switch off starting and kaka would be there with gourcuff behind. it would work. or else we can still try for luca toni. after all he knows better than anyone how to score in serie A.

15 points is not too much to end the seasson within the top 3, remember that the last season Milan played 12 points behind juve when they was cheating

Ibrahimovic is much better player than Gilardino. Zlathan is a complete player, he is tall and a nice jumper, he knows how to dribble, we must get him. I think that he can play along with Toni, another excellent singing. Pippo, Gila and Amoroso are not good players nowadays, we must find replacement. I think that selling kaka por 100 millon would be an excellent deal, there are many players in the world chepear that can play the way he did last season.

Well obviously b/c of the relegations alot of very good players will be available for us (AC MILAN (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ) to buy. We do have to take advantage of the excelent players at a possibly fair price. Now that Sheva is gone (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) we need at least two new strong players to fill in for him. Here is a short list of likely transfers from Juve:

-Gigi Buffon is uncertain where he'll go b/c of his very high price but does want to stay on Itally thou Arsenal and real are showing interest (I'd like Milan to pick him up)
-Zambrotta wants to stay in Italy and most likely will come to AC Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) b/c his agent has talked with AC Milan reps
-Del Piero is a Juve icon and is a bit old for a move so he'll stay
-There hasn't been interest in Nedved (As far as I Know) and its rumored that Del Piero said that he'll stay to fight with Juve
-Thuram is most likely to move to Barca
-Camoranessi is uncertain at the moment but probably will go to Inter
-Trezeguet and Ibrahimavic I haven't heard much about, thou Trezeguet in my opinion will do well in a English club

hope this has been enjoyable (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) don't worry is super boring in canada too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

You're joking right???!!!

First of all Ibrahimovic is a bit of a joke right know, he is selfish, never passes to his team mates even when sarrounded and his dribbling skills are minimal at best, and secondly you can't compare him to eighter Gila or Pippo because they are very different and he doesn't even come close to them on the score sheet Gila hit 17 this season and that was considered a weak season for him because he normally gets above 20 goals per season and Pippo hit 13 goals this season after coming from major injuries and he missed half of the season also this year. Ibrahimovic only got 7 goals this season and started in practically every game. If we get Ibra I'll go to Milanello and shoot someone myself, he is simply not good enough and way to selfish and immature to play for us.

Secondly why would we ever sell Kaka he is one of a kind especially right now, there is simply no one that could replace him (that's right not even Ronnie), plus we don't need Chelsea or Real's money, it's not like we are going bankrupt just because of one season without CL which in the longrun will only cost us about 50 mil since we always go far we made that just from Sheva's transfer, I'm sure money's not an issue for us so to sell Kaka is just crazy

I heard Ruud is going to Real.
should we bid on him now that we lack strikers??
Is he MILAN worth or is he just a thinner RONALDO??
I have no comments on this issue.

MILAN is on chace for ODDO and DIARRA
Zambrotta is gone
Seems that MILAN waits to see if they will play next season in CL to decide what transfers they make
If MILAN plays in CL then BRAIDA will try to transfer Diarra
and taking Ze Roberto is still an option

I don't want Ze Roberto, we shouldn't continue to make our age problem even bigger by getting a player who is probably 2 years away from retirement.

Oddo is a must I think

And Diarra won't come simply because we have no chance of playing in the CL

I think 15m P for Ibra wont do any good at all.
Real will jus put a scarry bid up there or even Man U.
and galliani will run away.
We need to be very brave in putting forward bids.
I think we need to be more aggresive in the window these days.
or we might end up having weak links in our squad.and an old squad too.

QUOTE (Carre 4 @ Jul 19 2006, 11:00 AM)
Ibrahimovic is much better player than Gilardino. Zlathan is a complete player, he is tall and a nice jumper, he knows how to dribble, we must get him. I think that he can play along with Toni, another excellent singing. Pippo, Gila and Amoroso are not good players nowadays, we must find replacement. I think that selling kaka por 100 millon would be an excellent deal, there are many players in the world chepear that can play the way he did last season.

an uruguayan rossonero like Pepe Schiaffino
*

U are quite wrong... let me tell you, zlatan just had one good season on juventus, and the level on netherlands is not the same as in italy , so .. thats why we has not able to plays as well as he did in ajax.

Why don't we try to get miguel. At least he's young and talented. He could replace cafu.Oddo is 30 and that is pretty old tho. Milan gave up the hopes of getting Gallas. Is it when most of the players are old that milan would wanna buy players. Milan should better act fast now we know what is at hand. Gallas was 29, he is still old.

These are the players I want to see.

For Defence
Buffon
Barzagli
Oddo

For Midfield
Sorted

For attack
Crespo
Tevez

I don't won't Ibra to even come close to Milanello let alone play for us

And I also heard rumors that Lazio want Foggia + cash for Oddo, if this is tru we should forget about Oddo or try to get him with money only, Foggia shouldn't be an option for selling, first of all he has great telent and in the future will become a great player for Milan and UEFA has made new regulations that every club should have players that came up from their own youth systems, and since we have one that is very telented he shouldn't be considered for selling

Buffon will stay in B, haven't heard much about Amelia since being linked with Milan at the end of last season, he'd be quality but don't see it happening. Shame Cannavaro went to Real, I think only Barzagli would be good enough at CB. Miguel sounds good, if not get Oddo. Midfield is fine & it's gotta be Crespo up front - we know he can play & score in Serie A. We won't get Torres or Tevez & don't want Ibrahimovic. I think that would be good enough to start the season.

Here we go. Transfer rumours are started right away, and I really like these news.
For those who speak Italian, read the whole article and for those who don´t, read the headline you´ll understand it anyway.

Lol Brocchi @ right back? don't think so. Would be great if we got all of them but I doubt it. If Diarra came we'd have to get rid of a midfielder - Vogel &/or Dalla Bona I hope, then it'd be a straight substitution, even if Diarra has a better physique & reputation. A while ago I thought if there was anyone who could try to replace Sheva it'd be Suazo, he'd link up well with any CF & has a lot of pace, but I thought he signed a new contract with Cagliari. If Buffon did come I doubt it would mean Dida would go, hope not anyway. Oddo shouldn't be a problem financially & shouldn't come at the expense of Foggia. I like that they confirmed the 4-3-1-2, even if it's just a newspaper's opinion. I knew the meeting between Silvio & Calderon was a load of b*****s, and who cares about our rapport with Real, they don't have anyone we want and they're not getting any of our players! Dida would definetely leave cause he doesn't want to sign a new contract and this is the last season in his current one:Milan won't let him go for free!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

IBRAHIMOVIC (Juventus): La Juventus è pronta a cederlo.
TREZEGUET - JUVE wants to sell him for 20 millions Lyon and Roma are interested
TORRES - stays for another year
IBRAHIMOVIC - for 20 millions MILAN could take him but INTER wants him too

Ok, here we go again. No picture today you guys, just a quote. Sorry u guys (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

QUOTE
Milan, Braida: "Torres? Faremo il massimo per averlo"
29 07 2006
Sarà comunque Ancelotti a decidere. Pirlo? Resta con noi senza dubbio". Infine lascia aperta una porta per Fernando Torres, punta dell'Atletico Madrid: "Faremo il massimo per averlo".

Ok, a little translation.

The quote is from Braide by the way if you missed it.

Now, first he says that Simic probably is staying with us because one of the players still has some problems. I belive it is Maldini but the quote doesn´t let us know who the player is.
He also says like this: Pirlo? He is definitly staying with us. No doubt about it.
And finally he says.
"We will do everything we can to bring Fernando Torres to Milan."

Loving these news!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Gazzetta

Not much interesting besides the little box in the left bottom corner. Torres is the closest forward-signing at this moment.

Ok, here we go. I don´t have any time with quotes or pictures today, sorry dst (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . I´ll ban myself, but I do have some news.

Areido Bradia, the "transfer-guy" in Milan will meet a man called Frederic Guerra tommorow. Who is Frederic Guerra?
He is Mr. Mahamadou Diarrras agent. According to my articel the price for Diarra should be about 25-35€ million but it could even get up to 40€. It is also said that the relation between Diarra and Lyon isn´t very good and that both the team and the player want Diarra sold.

_________________________________________________________________________

So, i really like these news although it is a lot of money this guy definitely is woth it.
One problem I see though is that if we complete this transfer and the amount of money goes up to 35-40€ million, I am afraid there will not be any other "big-name"-signing and with that I mean, I don´t think we will bring Torres to Milan. Just my thoughts but it seems pretty reasonable.
A small price for Diarra and we could get Torres, a high price and I am pretty sure we coul say good bye to him, although it is not impossible that we sign both of them.

It is not impossible, BUT as I wrote. If we get Dairra and we pay 40€million the chances of us getting Torres are not big since most of the money went at Diarra.
Although it is not sure that we will give Lyon 40€ million for Diarra it is a possibilaty.

no way is diarra worth €40m imo lots better talent for that money. di rossi maybe? €20m i can live with but thats about it anyway with vogel and janku in reserve plus foggia and gourcuff arrival surely the midfield is strong enough. and with torres coming (i pray) bonera already here i think it will be a great season!! If we manage to get Diarra for 20 - 35 mil I think it would be a great signing, we need a real defensive midfielder and he is the best right now in that position not to mention young, also I would rather have him and get oddo for about 6 mil then not bronging Diarra and spending a lot of money on torres.

Besides I don't think the money is that much of an issue. We got a minimum of 100 million € just from the Sheva sale and the new Bwin deal and we don't even know what we got for Stam and Rui, and that isn't even with the season tickets that have been sold already (they already passed some sort of record for season tickets that have been sold this summer) and the TV rights money we will get for serie A and CL. And if we run a little low on cash we always have Silvio's pockets to turn to (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) . The money is not the issue, it's reaching agreements with clubs that want their players to stay like Torres and Diarra both atletico and Lyon want them to stay.

With the signings we made now I only want 2 more preferably Oddo and Diarra, Torres would be a plus in my oppinion because with Diarra we could play a very successful 4-5-1 formation that would work wonders for us

no way will don silvio let us play 4-5-1. didn't he say always play with 2 strikers. i'm sure someone will say that you can turn it into 4-3-3 but 2 strikers must play and coach carlo likes that diamond midfield. diarra is a good player that for sure but what about vogel and janku surely they need football and ambrosini can play that holding role in front of the back 4 along with brocchi, i know that they aren't as good as diarra at passing but if they are employed as "destroyers" in the midfield and then give the ball to the creative players surely that would work. and as far as ambrosini is concerned he was being picked ahead of rino until injury struck so surely he deserves a chance.

100% disagree with you on this one!! The only problem with Ambrosini is his injury problem. He gets injured way too frequently... But when he is fine, he is one of the best defensive midfielders in Serie A. It's a pity we lost him to injury last season because he had started it on a high note.

Well I have to disagree with myself too ... I mean yeah he's not that bad. What I wanted to say is that we can't rely on him; even when he's not injured he's a bit "choppy" don't you think???

Just think for a moment, if milan brings diarra , and they have the chance to manage ronaldinho's arrival, ( as long as kaka stay's of course ) we can probably see the mithycal milan of the 90's , and belive me , no other team in their best years or moment have been able to play at the same level like that milan of the 90's, im also thinking if they copuld be able to bring another striker....

Yeah if Milan plan to replace Scheva as they promised, they're going to have to get Henry or Ronaldinho? And Henry's not leaving.

There has been no mention from Ronaldinho on the possibility or desire of wanting to leave. Italy would be a new challenge for him though.

He appears to be priceless at the moment.

I'm actually going to see him verse Chivas in Los Angeles with Barcelona and company-- I haven't seen him live yet--can't wait.

I don't like that magic squar sh!t that brazil tried to pull off (look at where that got them!) If we were to get Ronnie only 1 striker is needed and have both him and Kaka behind him.

And with both of them we don't need a s***a or Torres type of striker, we woulf need someone like gila, Pippo or Crespo.

And I don't think Gallas will come as I explained my reasons in another thread, but if he did I would put him on the left, or centre depending on how Paolo is doing and use Bonera on the right.

My formation would be something like this if we manage to get Gallas, Diarra,Crespo and Buffon, Ronnie is just a rumor, the papers must have had a slow day, Barca wouldn't sell him even for 200 mil so I'm not including him in my line-up.

---------------------------Buffon---------------------------
Bonera--Nesta--Maldini/Gallas--Janku/Gallas/Serginho(if he plays like last season)
----------------Gattuso-----Diarra-----Pirlo---------------
-------------------Kaka--Seadorf/Gourcuff----------------
------------------------Gila/Pippo/Crespo------------------

Gallas can play in every position in defence but is naturally a centre back, but since we have Bonera who can play also on all sides but prefers the right side if he is used as a full back we would play Gallas at left back (even if I don't think he will come)

Plus he wants to play in the center. Which might work for us.

Its the recent speculation that he missed the Los Angeles meeting with Chelsea because he will not play on the left and wants to leave Stamford Bridge for place that will cater to his central defense demand.

Its tough to analyze with all the speculation who will come

Torres-
Agent seems to be open to offers--might be the surprise acquisition. If he doesn't sign an extention then he will be worth less next season to Atletico, they might be smart to part with him now.

Ronaldinho-
no word on any transfer plans, is with Barcelona for the US tour and preseason. Hasn't indicated he wants to leave or Barca want to part with him.

Ibra-
Juventus want to much $$$$ for him- Almost as much as Scheva.

Diarra-
Ancelotti has stated he's sticking with his formation and tactics. Where will he fit in? We already have Pirlo as the current defensive midfielder. Unless hes walking and Diarra will fill his shoes in a year or so.

Oddo, maybe Gallas as defensive options.
--Too bad we didn't jump on Zambrotta or Grosso.

Signing for Gallas or Oddo is good decision, but adding more midfilder in milan squad that will add more problem to milan's first team. Right now, i am contend with the midfield players. they all can work together as a team and develop together like Manchester united. But i see a hole on different sites, especially attacker and defender. Most of them, i think, are old. fortunately bonera has come from parma, so it will add fresh blood for milan's defence. but i think milan still need Gallas since he could play for both in center and RB probably, so i vote for gallas to come. 29 now still okay for me than costcurta. he is 40 but ancelloti said that he is like "20 years old boy". For attacking side, hey come on go for ibra if he is in "low price", but i do think some other players, like Toni. i think he is a superb attacker. looks at italy's national team, since milan have both "wonderful" midfilders pirlo and gatusso, signing for one more star for national team would be a good decision. Others... ronaldinho, i think without him milan will still have a good teamwork. since we have kaka, ronaldinho is not needed. as i saw from the worldcup 2006, i saw that ronaldinho had lower standard than kaka since he had not gotten any man of the match title for every game that he played.

That's all for now. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Ok, here we go. Since I know how much dst and pKillermax love my gazzetta facts I´ll bring it up again.
No picture today you guys, sorry.

But, there is an interview with the president of Livorno, Spinelli.

He says like this.

Amelia has asked if he could move to another club. We have talked to Juventus but they are offering me players that I am not interested of. I have said that I want Tudor, Chiellini and Paro, and a special amount of money.

- How will this end? I can tell you how this will end, says Spinelli.
I will sell Amelia to Milan. There offer is very interesting. They give me Coppola and a lot of money for Amelia. If he will stay in Milan or not, I don´t want to answer although I think he will be used to get Buffon to Milan. That way borh clubs will be happy.

There we go, that is his own words. If this is true, I´d rather see Amelia in Milan than Buffon. Well Buffon is good to but I still want Amelia.

Enjoy!!

I think you're right, Buffon would be a dream, but he also isn't that young, Amelia is young and has the potential to become as good as Buffon, so we should try and keep him, but if they make an exchange deal and we get Buffon I would still be very happy, because there is no goal keeper that can organise his defense like Buffon, something we desperately need because Dida is terrible at that, look at last year, a lot of the goals that we conceeded where during set-pieces.

Anyway, I would welcome any of these 2 with open arms

For a club like Milan .. Buffon would be needed .. Using Amelia as bait or Coppola as a 2nd GK would be plain old dumb.

U got it... i mean they can buy the rights of the player, the give it loan for a yaer or two to any other team and then brin him back... but that would be asking to much, i prefer buffon, as it sais above, we need the best of the best.
