Today the trial will start (maybe it has already started).
I just read in (the most dependable) Greek newspaper Sportday the whole bill of indictment which was acquired by the team of journalist's send to Germany for the World Cup, from the heads of Italian football.

It reads the whole list of accusations against the 30 individuals and it seems, as we knew, that Juventus (along with Moggi, Giraudo), Fiorentina (Diego Della Valle) and Lazio (Lolito) are to face grave sanction for their deeds.

However it seems that Meani is also in deep sh1t!!!!!

He is accused of violation of article 6,1 and 6,2 of the sporting justice code (the serious one, regarding sport fraud) because of illegal telephone calls for the appointment of certain linesmen in the Milan - Chievo game (20/04/05) and more, direct calls with them.He is also, along with Adriano Galliani and Gennaro Maggei ( ? I couldn't found his name in the organization chart of the club ? ) accused of violation of article 1 of the SJC (principle of fairness...)
Meani seems in some cases to be "working" in favour of Moggi and Juventus or along with him:
They appear to have threatened Claudio Lolito (by the time he was complaining to FIGC about bad refereeing) that "Serie B is not so far away" ...

He informed Moggi that they could buy information from a third person regarding other (non-football related) frauds, Della Valle had committed in order to be able to threaten him in the future (for committee elections, ... )

He set up a "friends meeting" in his house with Moggi, Massimo De Santis as guests so that the "frozen" (at that moment) relationship between them two could be warmed up !!

At last but not least he is the one that sometimes gave orders to De Santis on which players he should show yellow/red cards
in favour of Juventus !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Where does Milan (as a club) get into this ?
Under the rules of articles 2,3 and 2,4 of SJC, every club has direct responsibility for its board members' action !!!

Whether the accusations regarding Meani will be linked with Milan's accountability on him remains to be seen ...

I forgot to mention that besides those 30 individuals, there are more cases that undergo examination:
There's the case of more "fixed" games this time FIGC being the suspicious mechanism behind it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beside that there's the GEA case (the company controlled by Moggi's son, which controlls a lot of playeres, managers, coaches and referees).

At last, under scrutiny is again the Juventus doping case as Torino's attorney, Guariniello has asked for an appeal. It seems that back then, Moggi was informed from inside and guided to destroy pieces of evidence ...

Didn't get this part.

"In favour of..." . Is this something like sporting espionage??

I thought that Meani wasn't a member of the board so Milan can't be penalised for his actions, but if that was Galliani that was taped then we would be in some deep sh!t but since Meani is not a member of the board and if that is the case that he was helping Juventus then Milan don't have anything to do with it.

From papers in Italy who got all the reports and evidence from the case they said that Milan only faces a fine and docked points, Juventus might go to serie C and Lazio and Fiorentina to serie B, since Galliani only violated article 1 and not 6 and he is a member of the board unlike Meani who violated article 1 and 6 but is not a member of the board so milan can't be punished for his actions.
