Is foggia going to be in the first team? I'd be really p*issed off if Galliani decided to loan him again

And as for the Juve team, well that's a bit of a stretch to try and get all of their players, I would be happy with Buffon and Zambrotta only, but juve won't sell there players to serie A clubs only the Italians will stay in serie A so I still have hopes for Buffon and Zambrotta

Rumours go that Zambrotta, Buffon and Gallas have signed "pre-contracts" with Milan.
I have no idea of what those are so I wont say anything more, thats just what I have heard.

When I was watching the game of France and Spain the british TV commentator said that Gallas had worked things out with Chelsea, I don't know if he's right, but still...

I don't think any Italian player would want to move from Italy, Buffon's agent said it as well that Gigi would want to stay in Italy and not move to London I don't know if Zambrotta would want to move to Spain but I highly doubt it.

I hope that the pre-contract stuff is true now those would be 3 great signings that would make me totally forget that Sheva won't be playing for us next season.

If they did sign pre-contracts I guess that would mean that they have agreed terms with the club but it's not official yet

Zambrotta and Buffon...thats all we need of Juve. But it can´t be true...I mean, we are not Chelsea to sign five star players in one season. Still,...if I would choose, the choice would probably fall on Zambrotta, a young fresh striker (must not be a star) and Mascherano. And I would keep Dida. Plus doese small. minor transfers like Brocchi, Favalli, etc.

Ancelotti has made his choices - torres and ze roberto
I didnt heard anything about defence
I whould like to see Zambrota, Gallas and Chivu for next season in MILAN's defence

Ze Roberto? Well, he certainly won´t help us to lower our age precentage...But he is very very usefull...he and Serginho,mm what a duo on the left!? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Yes the defence should be reinforced...Barzagli?

What if we are relegated?
We are sure to lose a lot of players we would need after progresssing into the serie a in 2007.
will we play the CL 2006-07 and 2007-08?

From the Gazzetta today;

QUOTE
"Zambrotta ha ringraziato il suo ex allenatore per la stima ma gli ha communicato di aver già un accordo con il Milan. Se i rossoneri restano in A, il laterale la prossima stagione giocerá con loro."

Translation:
Zambrotta thanks his former manager but says that he has found himself a deal with Milan. If Milan plays in the Serie A next season, he will be in the team.

Just like I said some days ago about the pre-contracts.
Lets just hope the same statements will come from Buffon and Gallas to.

Now I really hope everything goes OK. Zambrotta would be a dream transfer and to add Gallas and Buffon also would be amazing.

I still believe that we will be playing in serie A next season, to relegate a club over 1 min and 45 secs of conversation that doesn't even show any wrong doing is just crazy

This is my summary of all of the rumours that I've heard/read, and what the squad could look like (although I doubt it)...and only if we remain in Serie A!

Leaving: Apparently Fiori has retired,

Coppola is close to signing for Messina,

Cafù could go back to Sao Paulo,

Jankulovski could go to Palermo (these last two I think are in case of relegation)

Vogel could be loaned out.

Signings: Buffon,

Zambrotta is said to have had a pre contract with Milan although he could be loaned to Real, with an option to buy in case Juve don't make it back to Serie A within 2 yrs,

Miguel: Portugese Intn'l RB compared to Cafù & is alot younger,

Grygera: Czech Intn'l is to leave Ajax after the arrival of Stam - who like him, can play at CB or RB, wants to play in Italy & could join for 5mln euros,

Zè Roberto was recommended by Dida, Cafù & Kakà, wanted by Ancelotti & could join on a free, on the down side he is 32,

Maxi Rodriguez: Impressed Milan at WC although his price tag is seemingly too high.

Crespo: Chelsea accepted his transfer request, he's "homesick" and wants to return to Italy, would welcome a return to Milan which he called his home.

Torres: Also on Ancelotti's list of demands, has been linked with Milan for the last 2 seasons & they have wanted him for the last 3/4 yrs, will leave Atletico after many seasons especially after performance in the WC but also linked with Man Utd.

________________________Gilardino______Crespo

________________________________Dida
_______________Simic______Maldini______Grygera______Serginho
___________________Brocchi______Ambrosini______Seedorf
_______________________________Gourcuff
__________________________Torres______Inzaghi

Rest of the squad: Kalac, Costacurta, Favalli, Foggia, Amoroso.

By the way, how many young players do we have to have in the squad this year? I remember Marzoratti, Legati, Piazza, Aubameyang, Bloudek, Marzeglia & Ardemagni all getting called up last season from the Primavera (this last guy scored loads!) Also heard good things of Antonelli, De Gennaro, Kakà's brother and Weah Jr. Hope they all stay and find some more space in the 1st team.

I think Fiori retired recently...But why Kranjcar? Yes, he was a talent in Croatian once, but still not Milanb quality. He has way tooo many flaws to be taken by Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

One guy I have seen mentioned that I would also like is Miguel, great wing back and I feel he would be a good fit in this team.

I think that miguel will be one of the best defenders in about 2-3yrs from now. He's a good replacement for non-quiting old best 2, Cafu. I think that Zambrotta would be the perfect replacement with he's admirous display in the world cup.

It says on acmilan.com that Coppola probably won't stay. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I really hope Dalla Bona doesn't stay! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) Wouldn't be upset at all if Vogel went too! I mean, when Pirlo will need for a bit of rest or when he'll get injured, Vogel can replace him no problem.

Well yes defense-wise Vogel is very good maybe even better than Pirlo but attackingly he's nowhere near him ... You're probably right though cause I can't see Ancelotti letting Andrea play as he can ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

You're right Vogel played good when he played in Rino's spot not Pirlo's, I don't know of any player that can play Pirlo's role the way he does he is irriplacable.

The only person I can compare Pirlo to would be Makalele, but at the same time he isn't even close to Pirlo's technical abilities.

Isn't Makalele a DMF?? Pirlo isn't put in that position for nothing he creates plays from a deep role, hence the deep lying playmaker name he's given.

When he played for Inter as their attacking mid/playmaker he bombed big time, he couldn't even get a starting position in the first 11. Then when he came to Milan Carlo switched him to deep lying play maker role and that's where he made his name and people began to notice the potential and talent in him. Pirlo should definately stay where he is.

And by what Carlo said it could be an indication that we could be playing 4-5-1 next season with a DMF next to him to relieve him from all his defensive duties

Yea he is .. & Pirlo is exactly what u called him. The only dif between Pirlo and Makalele is that Pirlo is better technically (creative, hene he is considered a #10)

But from where he plays, he controls his area the way Makalele does. And that was the only comparison I ment

squad for milan next season 06-07? I think you're looking at it! We'll probably loan out Coppola and I'm hoping Dalla Bona will go for good and Donati won't come back. There's a lot of talent in the Primavera (at least there was last season) and this year some of them have to be incorporated into the squad, not sure how many though. Silvio doesn't seem to bring out his wallet anymore (apart from Gila last year) Oh well there's always January (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Sorry if it seems pessimistic but after the last 2 seasons I'm used to being disappointed.

You are not being pessimistic, you're being realistic. No one from Milan is talking about new signings and most of the players we wanted are already either gone or decided to stay were they are. Our attack and righ back is looking great! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Gila and Inzaghi play upfront, Inzaghi get's injured, Amorso will become a starting 11 player. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) It's just too good to be true...

I HAVE FAITH!!! And Milan has millions. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) I'm told there's a huge shock transfer coming in at the end of the transfer season.

For now...I think we just need to beef up defence and mid and play improved tactics. We are not as bad as we think we are. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Come you guys. Milan were just waiting for the verdict to be final so they could know what sort of players they would go for.
I mean, just this morning the Gazzetta wrote that Milan are after Oddo, Diarra, Suazo and Buffon. And that was a couple of hours after the verdict was final.

Personally I don´t think we will bring all those players, but two of them isn´t too impossible.

Yeah, although we need a firth striker. Almost anyone would do.
By the way, if you understand Italian, read the news from the gazzetta in the link below.
It confirms the stuff I said before.

I think Huntelaar is a great striker. We should stop with this, he's too young argument. We can't always buy players that are at least 27 years old. Look at the players we bought when they were still young. Pirlo, Gattuso, Sheva, Kaká. Why not take the risk?

I think Suazo wouled be perfect. He has the same characteristics of Eto'o, and as him, they both come from low level clubs (Mallorca and Cagliari). Barça took the risk and was well awarded, so I think we should get Suazo too, you'll see he will shine. And after that, the next year we sell Amoroso and get Torres for having the best attack ever: Torres, Suazo, Gilardino, Inzaghi (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Gazzetta Link

Beside these news, it is said that Milan are after Palermos Barzagli. Maldini seems far away from the condition he should be in and Barzagli seems as the perfect replacement. The only problem is that Palermos president, Maurizio Zamparini, hates Milan a lot.

And finally some news about Massimo Oddo.
Despite the 80% chance of him coming to Milan according to the gazzetta reports say that Milan has basicly said that Claudio Lotito from Lazio can go to hell because of his 12€ million price on Oddo.

If there is no solution in the next 2-3 days Milan are reported to change their transfer tactics to Sevillas Daniel Alves. His price is a bit higher that 12€ million but his is both younger and better than Oddo.

Thats it for now.

Kisses to everyone (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Cheers again for the link (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Wow, I've heard Daniel Alves is considered to be the next Cafu and is miles better than Oddo. That would be a great sign.

Yeah, the link was great (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Although i did not like the line up dst put together. It was alright but i would make some changes.

The goalkeeper was great and so was the central defenders. Now i´d rather see Alves on the RB than Oddo. On the left I wanna se Kaladze or Serginho, even though Janku is not that bad. The midfield looks all right BUT if we would play with those three central midfielders we would have to play with three attackers.
One central and two wingers. This would in my mind look quite good.

--------------Buffon--------------
Alves--Barzagli--Nesta--Kaladze
------------------------------------
------Gattuso-Diarra-Pirlo------
------------------------------------
Kaka-----------------------Suazo
------------Gilardino-------------

Now since Ancelotti wont put seedorf on the bench, our formation would probably look like this if we signed suazo instead of Ibrahimovic.

--------------Buffon--------------
Alves--Barzagli--Nesta--Kaladze
------------------------------------
--------------Pirlo-----------------
Gattuso-------------------Seedorf
-------------Kaka-----------------
-------------------------------------
----Suazo-----Gilardino----------

The first one would be my choice.

I like adooooo's 2nd lineup & formation the best, I hope we get all of the new players in it. Never heard of this Alves guy but if he's young & talented I'd be ok with that. Would swap Kaladze for Serginho or Jankulovski at LB cos he's a CB now and a good one at that.

I'd rather see Alves too but I think Oddo is a more probable signing. As for Kaladze, well he's good as a CB but as an LB he's worse than bad!!!

I think that if Seedorf goes on like last year then Ancelotti will bench him ... Remember he already did that with our previous number 10 ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

Not counting any injuries or bans, this is how I think we should line up this season with the squad we currently have:

__________________________Dida_________________________
___________Bonera____Nesta____Kaladze____Serginho________
________________Gattuso____Pirlo____Seedorf_______________
__________________________Kaka_________________________
___________________Gilardino____Inzaghi___________________

__________________________Kalac_________________________
_________Simic____Costacurta____Maldini____Jankulovski______
_______________Brocchi____Ambrosini____Vogel______________
___________________Foggia_______Gourcoff_________________
_________________________Borriello_______________________

Rest of the squad: Coppola, Fiori, Cafu, Favalli, Dalla Bona, Amoroso.

Dunno why Fiori is still here he'll never get a game, same goes for Dalla Bona. If Coppola goes I'd want Buffon or Amelia. I think Cafu is on his way out after this season along with Billy, Paolo & hopefully Favalli, so we have to build a defence without them. Hope Bonera will fill Stam's shoes, it'd help if we had Oddo & Barzagli that would be a complete defence. I hope Brocchi & Ambro get more games this season, maybe rest Rino & Pirlo once in a while. The midfield is sorted as it is I hope we don't waste money on Diarra. Foggia plays on the right and Gourcoff on the left (hopefully as well as a replacement for Kaka in the middle) and given that we don't play 4 in midfield (2 holding players + 2 wingers) I think they should only play together in a 4-3-2-1. I bet this'll make dst happy lol. Ibrahimovic is the only one that can try to replace Judas. He'd link up well with Gila & Kaka (or maybe Gourcoff) and that would get rid of Amoroso. I'd wanna keep Borriello though, or if worst comes to worst loan him out.

Without new players this is how IMO we should play:
__________________________Dida_________________________

___________Bonera____Nesta____Maldini____Jankulovski______

________________Gattuso____Pirlo____Seedorf_______________

___________________Kaka__________Gourcoff______________

_________________________Gilardino_______________________
or

__________________________Dida_________________________

___________Bonera____Nesta____Maldini____Jankulovski________

________________Gattuso____Pirlo____Seedorf_______________

__________________________Kaka_________________________

___________________Gilardino____Inzaghi___________________

With this squad and Ancelotti formation we have to. And we did it last year though it wasn't very successful. As I said I prefer the first one with Gourcoff inside

Normally when we played Pippo and Gila together because of a problem with Sheva, neither of them would manage to score, just go back through the games that we played them together and you'll see that maybe in only 1 or 2 matches that we've played them together either Pippo or Gila scored, we simply can't play the same formation we have been playing if we don't get a support striker, it simply won't work.

I sometimes see potential in Gila to become that sort of striker, he can make as much assists to the forward he's playing with almost as much as Kaka, but he is not ready to play that new role. Maybe in the future if he worked on it, then yes he could become the Sheva type striker, but he definately isn't that right now, he is the Pippo type striker, so we can't play them with each other

Come on, Milan sold 3 top players (Rui, Sheva and Stam), we CAN buy a good striker.

I think you should have read the part where I said "if need be!" I didn't mean it was a good idea that they play together, merely that if we don't get Ibrahimovic for some reason, they could in an emergency. But I think we will get him! Anyway what's all this talk of "can't"? Milan can do anything, especially when their owner is Berlusconi - who demands 2 strikers, and with good reason! (Silvio for Carlo's Assistant!) Besides, Amoroso played as a support striker (even if I want him gone), and Kaka has played as the 2nd striker before. Even Borriello linked up well with Inzaghi a few seasons ago.

I agree Gila makes a lot of assists and links up well with the other striker (no matter who it is) but he'll never be that player you mentioned. Don't worry I don't think there's much standing in the way of us getting Ibra, he's the perfect solution to that Ukrainian bloke. Viva il quattro-tre-uno-due!

I think we didnt ask money for Rui Costa nor Stam, they were released for free.As Galliani said before we don't sell our players, Sheva was exceptional.
milanista 1899 I think we have to forget about signing Torres and Tevez now, It's too late !!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
Ibrahimovich and Trezuget are still available though, but I doubt any of them are coming to Milan, plus we dont need Trezuget; we already have strikers ( Inzhagi,Amoroso and Gilardino ). We need forwards. Why do I doubt they'll be headin to Milan, because Juve doesn't want to sell anymore of their players, plus the last people they would want to sell to are their opponents. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)
And after Chelsea's statement I doubt Gallas is coming.
I wonder what this surprise is that Mr.Braida has promised us (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) !!!
my wish is that the surprise is Frank Ribery and Oddo. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Milan doesn't play with wingers, so I'd say we can forget about Ribery.
At the moment, the only forwards available that could replace a player like Sheva is Ibra and Torres... And Milan will have to pay if they want them.

I think you should have read the part where I said "if need be!" I thought that you said we could still play them together for a whole season "if need be" sry for the misunderstanding, what I keep trying to say is that Silvio should either get his @ss off the couch and get us a good forward or he has to forget about his "only 2 striker plan"

I'm sure that if we don't manage to get Ibra we would be either playing the xmas tree with Kaka and gourcuff supporting the lone striker or as Silvio has suggested himself we play Kaka as the support striker and Gourcuff as the attacking midfielder.

--------------Gourcuff---------------

-----------------------Kaka----------
-----------Pippo/Gila----------------

And I almost agree with everything you said on Gila, I think he has the potential to becoming a supporting striker, the only thing I can't see him doing is scoring those blinders that Sheva used to score for us, because I believe that if Gila could work more on his dribbling skills he could become a supporting forward
