GALLIANI: 'Sure UEFA will open inquest'

1/21/2006

MILANELLO - Adriano Galliani on Eydelie's revelations: 'We are sure Uefa will open an inquest. Of course, if Marseille really were on drugs against us that night, then I think it’s right for the trophy to be assigned to Milan as we would have been able to play the Intercontental Final and European Super Cup. Our lawyer is looking into the situation.'

I am hoping that we could win 2 CL trophies this year. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

TBH I don't think it would be right to be awarded the title after 13 years. Perhaps if these allegations became apparent in '94 it would be a different story, but as far as I'm concerned, if they were guilty of doping then they should be stripped of their title. Then UEFA should declare that there wasn't a winner in '93, that is the only way that this can be settled.
