Must win match. No excuses allowed.

And while we're at it, seriously, why not try out this Saponaro guy now? Pescara could be the ideal test. Hardly there's any easier opponent.

Filippo, I think you're confusing Saponara with Salamon. The former is still in Serie B with Empoli and will join in the summer, the latter is the CB. Still I don't feel it's a good idea when both Mexes and Zapata are available and we're going into the final 3 crucial games of the season.

We'll already be missing Prince and Monto, our only 2 creative players aside from Robinho and Bojan

We'll be forced to struggle with Muntari in that midfield already putting people under pressure by continually losing the ball, not such a good place to push in a young CB, even if it just Pescara.

Personally, I'd prefer it if we went 4-2-3-1 and just avoided playing Muntari all together or since we already know Allegri would never deviate from his usual BS 4-3-3 system we go something like this

Abate--Zapata--Mexes--DS
Flamini--Constant--Nocerino
Robinho--Pazzo--Balo

And I'll say this again, continuing to push SES in when he's clearly struggling is just plain stupid, these performances will just further beat down the fact that he's struggling and he'll push himself under even more pressure to try to recover from this dip. Just like he was doing yesterday continually trying to cut in when he got the ball and failing every time

It'll be incredible if De Sciglio doesn't start this game, given who the opponents are, and how terrible Constant was last game.

He made a few mistakes in defense, and his crosses were 'DAFUQ?!'. In other words, useless.

Not "terrible" per se. as X-Off said he was rather useless. I can't stand a FB who fails to trouble an opponent with a few proper crosses all game long. and he's not really that great a defender. what he's good at is playing in the space between our penalty area and the opponent's where he can use his pace, technique and passing to get past the opposition and help the team move forward.

Even with such shitty line-up we should be able to beat them.

Playing Muntari and Niang is sooo typical Allegri and I seriously can't wait for these last 3 games to be over and done with so we can FINALLY see the back of him!

I see you guys are mentioning Constant. But the thing is, he's naturally a midfielder! We basically have no midfield yet Allegri won't give him a chance to start in his natural position when the other option is the bane of our existence also known as "f@cking Muntari". Constant is quick, smart on the ball, has a nice touch. Certainly better than that slow, lazy idiot.

As for Niang, what's left to say? This guy cannot even be considered a player. If being strong and knowing how to hit the sh!t out of the ball while aiming at nothing is all that's required of players these days then sure, he'd be good. But that's not the case and all this guy does is run in a straight line, up the by-line and smash .i.e cross the ball at no one in particular.

If Allegri were at all able to use some common sense let alone some creative thinking, he'd drop the ridiculous 4-3-3 and just go with the 2 strikers and Robinho in behind them. Keep Muntari on the bench an play Constant in midfield. Simple as that and I guarantee we'd at least be playing football 10 times as better as the utter cr@p we've been reduced to watching for these last 9 months or so

Yeah it's getting pretty boring. Though it'll make it all the more hilarious when he's scrambling for excuses for the next manager. Or him defending "good football" even though we're not getting results.

If the next coach is as sh!tty as Allegri I'll be the first one on the hate wagon. This has nothing to do with Allegri himself, but Allegri the coach. I don't just hate him for the sake of it. I just despise everything he stands for as the coach of Milan. He's turned us into a Serie B level side when it comes to performances and watchability (is that even a word?). Our players act inferior to every team. And this started with little things like time wasting during games, something we never did before. Only Filippo pointed this out at the start, and we were all saying that he was making a big deal out of nothing. But the problem is that those little things have spiralled into this huge mess.

And no, I won't be cheering if we were playing great football and losing. I want the results just as much as you. And I'm not asking for Barca/Real/Man U type football here, but at least I want to be able to enjoy watching my team play on some level and not to actually dread it

Yeah his tactics won us Serie A (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) . Not the fact that we had players like Zlatan and Silva on the squad + proven class players who have won everything there is to win in football

What kind of a footballer trips on the ball like that? the kid is a joke. not only has he not improved since his debut, he's actually gotten worse.

Niang is so bad it's not even funny anymore. Just awful, awful, awful!!

2 trips over his own feet/ball. Then he proceeds to bring down an easy ball with his hand, and then makes a huge mess out of trying to round the keeper.

If this wasn't Pescara I'd actually be crying not laughing about how bad he is

This is as important to us as much as playing Juve/Inter/etc

And we're actually making a meal out of playing Pescara FFS.

Winning today would be huge for us and keeping the 3rd spot. So yes I'm excited. Plus I always find it funny when Muntari scores. Because it's 90 minutes of utter mediocrity and then he pops up with a great goal

When did these good things happen?

All I see is kid trying to play a man's game

Easy han, those few good things are what a footballer at the lowest level should be able to do. he's so bad, when he makes a right pass and successful dribble we're like WOW.

Ah ok. I never doubted third place to be honest. And, well Pescara are horrible. Balo can win matches like that on his own. That's why I say, we can't be too critical of him. He probably is having better stats then Ibra had for us..and Ibra was immense for us.

Muntari actually looks like a midfield enforcer in the presence of this opponent... Says a lot about Pescara...

We're showing excessive determination. something I didn't see many times this season when we needed it. this game is already won and they're relegated. we should be more classy than to take it all out on them.

We can always find out by sending him to Serie B where there are more teams on Pescara's level...

Something I noticed during the game: at some point our fans started chanting "Serie B, Serie B" directed to Pescara and their fans. How sad. Our ultra really are small people.

As opposed to saying nothing because we're too above them? No wonder nobody turns up to Serie A games if you get criticised for attempting to have fun.

Yeah exactly. It's not like Pescara fans wouldn't throw it back at our faces if we had lost now would they? I don't have a problem with 'sporting-related' insults. If you call the opponent fans something else well then it's a problem. Like the Lazio and Roma ultras.

I think mostly x-off doesn't like it because they've been the team that everyone has slapped around so much. I actually felt sorry for them. They're already down compounding on it isn't really such a 'sporting' thing to do imo. If Inter for example were going down, then yeah it's funny banter, but this is just beating down on the weak kid

Agreed. I don't condone racism or the mocking of illness/death type stuff, but if it's just for a laugh that's fine. Part of what I like about football is being able to make fun of yourself too. When losing 3-0 at home to Wigan we were singing "How **** must you be, you've only scored 3" since we'd just lost 8-0 and 4-0 to Chelsea/Spurs. Without this kind of fun, football would be very, very dull. The on field stuff is only a small part of what makes football great.
