A new season, but it appears as if we're going to carry the injury plague of last season into this one...

It really does look good. QUOTE Come on guys, it's not that bad of a line-up. I think we'll win. Agreed; we must win. Milan is bad, sure, but not "that" bad.

To be honest, De Sciglio is the only player in that lineup that excites me and makes me want to watch it. hopefully he picks up where he left off last season against Inter. Having such a poor squad is good in a way after all. the kids get to play a lot, and you get to know the good ones from the bad ones NOT based on a few cameo performances. Also Pazzini vs his former teammates should be interesting, hopefully that works in his favor and he gets a goal or two. QUOTE (kurtsimonw @ Aug 24 2012, 04:53 AM) Just 2 mins on photoshop. Thought it'd look nicer than me not really putting anything. Glad people seem to like it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) I thought you copy/pasted it from somewhere. not that it's not easy, just some of us are too lazy for that! Could you do it for all the remaining games of the season? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I'd say we'll score more then concede, but I'm pretty much sure Doria will score.

We dominate but lose 3-1. The 3rd Sampdoria goal coming in the 87th minute.
We also lose KPB to injury. Nocerino to score our only goal.

QUOTE (m1ke @ Aug 24 2012, 09:38 AM) Maxi Lopez is a doubt for the game apparently. I thought he got a bit of a raw deal at Milan, so I'd prefer it if he didn't have a chance to prove us wrong (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) +1 QUOTE (Ry4n @ Aug 24 2012, 10:47 AM) Hello , long time !
My prediction 2-1
Pazzini to get a debut goal. Welcome back indeed! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Good to see both yourself & M1ke back!

QUOTE (William405 @ Aug 25 2012, 05:31 PM) Better than playing with 3 DMs...looks good. Depends. If the 3 DMs are Ambrosini, Gattuso and Pirlo...no, not better at all. But I get where you coming from. One striker on the bench... (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

QUOTE (KillerMax @ Aug 26 2012, 09:49 AM) Kurt, what you did there with the match banner is great! I've always wanted to have something like that at the beginning of each match thread throughout the season but could never find consistent logos of team we faced (Sizes and quality and colors differed). So awesome job for that. And if like Mr. Zed.d said, if you could keep it going, then that would just make this place (Milanfan) that much classier. Cheers. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/beersmiley1.gif) Ok..you just damped his motivation levels considerably. Here let me show you how it's done: kurt, If you do that match banner more often for our future matches, LOTS OF HOT WOMEN will want to sleep with you. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/smoke.gif) QUOTE (m1ke @ Aug 26 2012, 06:46 PM) Latest reports indicate that El Shaarawy has overtaken Pazzini for a starting place alongside Robinho. How would that work? Boateng as a false #9?

According to MN, this is how Milan should look: QUOTE Milan (4-3-1-2): Abbiati; De Sciglio, Zapata, Bonera, Antonini; Montolivo, Flamini, Nocerino; Boateng; Pazzini, Robinho.

QUOTE (arivanjj @ Aug 26 2012, 01:07 PM) game is at 2am (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) . what you guys think? stay up and bleed my eyes out? I'd go to sleep. Wake up, check result and if game was worth seeing, if yes: watch a replay or download it (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'd personally prefer Constant to start instead of Flamini. No use making it more painful than it already will be

QUOTE (m1ke @ Aug 26 2012, 03:33 PM) El Shaarawy deserves a start in my opinion - one of the best in pre-season. Yepes always does well - no biggie. Yepes is slow and mistake prone imo. Agreed on El Shaa, but don't know if it will work that well with Robinho...

QUOTE (m1ke @ Aug 26 2012, 05:33 PM) El Shaarawy deserves a start in my opinion - one of the best in pre-season. Yepes always does well - no biggie. Not really impressed with Stephan pre-season, his finishing was poor if anything, and the attacking players that were one of the best are Robinho, Nocerino and Emanuelson. Boateng wasn't good. Pazzini wasn't there, so can't be compared. QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 26 2012, 06:08 PM) No point in playing Yepes and El Shaarawy over Zapata and Pazzini. Also, it looks like Bonera will be our new Nesta from now onwards. Bonera our new Nesta?

Wow, we're just awful...

Bonera is truly a mediocre player at best. Boateng is looking horrible. I am beginning to wonder if he looked as good as he did for us due to opponents allowing him more space while worry about our other players. (Zlatan anyone?...) It could just be my frustration talking, but the more I think about it, the less far-fetched it seems to me. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Couple questions: Why the hell is Pato up in the stands away from the rest of the team? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) ...and two regarding signs that I saw in the crowd (not sure if anyone else spotted them): One was something to do with Cassano, and the other was to do with August 31st.

Get Flamini out, bring in Constant. Get Pazzini on for anyone in that attack. They're all bombing

QUOTE (m1ke @ Aug 26 2012, 07:54 PM) Not a great half. It's almost like everyone is looking around for Ibra when they get the ball! Good way of putting it. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/thumbup.gif) QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Aug 26 2012, 07:55 PM) Couple questions: Why the hell is Pato up in the stands away from the rest of the team? (IMG: style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) ...and two regarding signs that I saw in the crowd (not sure if anyone else spotted them): One was something to do with Cassano, and the other was to do with August 31st. Pato's injured, and I guess he likes to sit there, lol. The sign about Cassano said "Ungrateful heart", whilst the other one said "Let's wait hopeful till 31 August".

We've been reduced to the long ball. Allegri wouldn't know how to get us to 5th place with this squad
