Sorry for the late thread opening for a derby game.
Abate and Seedorf are back to training fully with the others, but still no mention of Aquilani which could be a huge loss for us. Anyone know what's the new about Maicon? Last I heard he was a doubt for the game. |

I think it will be a line up with Seedorf + Nesta in and Robinho will be prefered over Pato.

Nesta or Mexes is a win-win situation so it doesn't really matter. Most coaches would prefer Nesta in a more important game.

The Gazzetta line-up has Seedorf and Robinho starting, but the problem with Seedorf is that he'll be pushing Nocerino to the right, where he's clearly not as effective as he is on the left. If this is the case than it would be a terrible decision. Especially considering Seedorf is returning from injury and Boateng had no problems playing in the midfield 3. Also, as you said this would be a great game for Pato to finally get his season underway, all he needs is a single sight of goal and he's deadly. Starting Robinho as a striker imo is a huge mistake as he misses far too many chances. Off topic: we'll be playing Novara after this game, twice (Coppa Italia on Wednesday, home and Serie A on Sunday, away). |
