All discussions, news, photos and videos about Milan's stay in Dubai for the winter break here. I remember the team returned decently rejuvenated the last time they went to the desert kingdom. We played some matches there, as well as set up a training camp. I don't know whether it's the water, the whether, or the escorts that did the trick, but hey I won't complain one bit if we did it again this time too, seeing as our 9 points difference with inter from the top perch will take some big efforts to overtake. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Still, let's hope for the best. At the very least, the players will get a well deserved rest before some very important matches that are coming up! A breathtaking picture of Dubai that caught my eye the other day: (IMG: http://i39.tinypic.com/k0k5dz.jpg) Our resident reporter (Ry4n) will post more stuff, but here are a couple more images: (IMG: http://i39.tinypic.com/159111.gif) (IMG: http://i42.tinypic.com/2qwfupu.jpg) Forza Milan! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) As usual.

Damn...oh nice. Pics of the youngsters ok. Darmian, Strasser etc. See if you can get combo pics of the old guys with the new ones. And more Carletto pics please. See if you can get Carletto doing ball work. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Methinks this completely bogus "terrorist threat" was simply an excuse to amp up the security around Beckham, despite Milan fans welcoming him with a collective yawn less than two weeks ago. Anyhoo, if anyone's interested (unlike me), there's a slew of Becks pics available for viewing at R&B. Here is His Didaness and family arriving at the airport yesterday. I hate it when cameras catch people in mid-blink. (IMG: http://cache.daylife.com/imageserve/03ix6UM7t2781/340x.jpg)

(IMG: http://i43.tinypic.com/11gn0np.jpg) Beckham: I like your tattoo man... Maldini: yeah... Can't say the same about yours... Beckham: Wha..? Maldini: What the **** is that? Can't even see your arms... You overdid it dude... Beckham: (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Maldini: Oh cry me a river... Oh what are you gonna do now? Tell your boyfriend Victoria to kick my @ss?

He's not the best anymore, but if it were an old Brazilian all the fan boys/girls on here would love it. Obviously the Fact that he's English makes him overrated, as good as a donkey, media-item, useless etc etc. Well on the home of English football knowledge Milanfan it certainly does (IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

I liked David Beckham when he was a footballer, believe it or not. Course, he hasn't been a footballer imo since 2003 or so, when he became a Media Icon. The media icon and his scary wife? Nothing but contempt for 'em.

Some players aren't wanted because they're crap, others aren't wanted because of their baggage. Everyone would take Becks though. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Double training again today. The new note of today is that Borriello did some running outside during both training sessions, the first running he's done since his injury.

Anyone knows why we're in Dubai for a second year in a row? Any particular reason, sponsorship deals? By the way, here is the weather forecast for Dubai for the next few days, I was worried it would be much hotter there.

QUOTE (agenth @ Jan 4 2009, 06:56 AM) thanks for the pics!! they are awesome quality! which cam do you use? Well some of them are professional pics taken by pro photographers! (IMG: style_emoticons/default/king.gif) The rest are taken by Ryan, and I must admit great quality on them. I myself have a Canon SX100 IS, with 10x optical zoom so I can tell. I take pictures standing 100 feet away, and they come in great. PS. You can usually find the name of the camera by looking at the meta-data of an image file. It can also tell you all details as when it was taken, which camera, the ISO and settings used, etc.

QUOTE (dst @ Jan 5 2009, 10:19 PM) What? Acid, are you kidding me? I love the way it looks and I passionately hate how digital cameras get smaller and smaller! I agree wholesomely with the cameras getting smaller and smaller part. I hate it too, and that was one of the reason when I bought my Canon (the other being the quality, feature set, and the 10x optical zoom). The shape is just about perfect for my taste. The DSLR on the other hand, make me feel like a professional photographers (particularly the black ones, which is probably the only color available), which at weddings and parties, isn't that good an idea. I prefer to keep DSLRs only for photography. Unless they change the shape a bit, and make them come in silver. My choice: (IMG: http://i43.tinypic.com/v7gu9c.jpg) QUOTE (dst @ Jan 5 2009, 10:19 PM) Thanks for than pics Ryan your effort is greatly appreciated! Second that. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) But I hate ZShare, it only allows me to download at 20 something KB per second, while with a Rapidshare premium account I get the full 100+ KB. Having said that, a service like Sharebee is the best, in that you upload there, and it then automatically creates mirrors at various other sites: http://www.sharebee.com/QUOTE (TriniKing_CE @ Jan 5 2009, 10:41 PM) So u don't like the convenience of a small camera under any cicrumstances? They have their uses, yes. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) But I always prefer a camera that I can hold in my hands sturdily, not the one that gets lost in my pocket. It was a hard choice to make, however, when I bought the Canon, I'll give you that.

QUOTE (acid911 @ Jan 5 2009, 11:54 PM) Can't blame you. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/innocent.gif) Photography isn't an easy thing to either understand, or master! actually i went to a forum and i got recommended the Canon you have (I think...) Or was it the Powershot 70? anyway, i still went and got this sony because it came with 4GB disk and i just thought the size was good and handy (IMG: style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I have, um, a 1955 era 35mm. Somewhere or another I have some decent snow shots in bw film I took with it. To travel with, I have an ancient and grumpy canon digital camera.

(IMG: style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Sony's too have great imaging quality. One major deciding factor for me was the ultra zoom that mine has. Makes long range photos really come alive. My next purchase will probably be a 12 MP point-and-click and a good DSLR for pro photography. The hardest part is researching, of course. That's what takes the most time. QUOTE (agenth @ Jan 6 2009, 04:38 AM) anyway, i still went and got this sony because it came with 4GB disk and i just thought the size was good and handy Well, flash cards have fallen in price, you can get 4 GB for around $10 now, me thinks! Wasn't of course the case before, but prices have gone down rather steeply, unsurprisingly. QUOTE (Tennie @ Jan 6 2009, 04:50 AM) I have, um, a 1955 era 35mm. My God, Tennie, better start saving to get a new camera. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) Life's precious, and no better way to capture the moments than to catch them on camera. QUOTE (Ry4n @ Jan 8 2009, 05:01 PM) Cheers mate! Come to think of it, that's what I look like when I get up for work at six in the morning. You mean you are 6' foot 5'' inches with messy, oiled hair in the morning?
