past his prime ? what prime? he is only 24 and his prime is ahead of him
loan? you don't send player like him on loan. It's an insult.

There is no need to panic. He is still young. It's not onlu him playing bad. It's almost an entire team.

Gila is the future... Now He's got a bad time but all MILAN players and staff have a bad time too... It's a Fuk@@g Season but i'm sure about his capacity and he will show us that he is an important element for the team.

The future? Sorry, he's not 20 anymore. Sure, he's still a young player, but not a talent anymore...

I say no..

I think Gila is just flat out stale. He can't dribble, pass, shoot or create chances. And this isn't just some mean opinion he hasn't done anything for Milan this season or in key games last season when we needed him.

We talk like he's 19 years old, he'll be 25 this year.

We should keep him but he should not be a primary striker. We should have 5-6 strikers who fight for a spot on the pitch not just 3 that are certain to get a spot every game or two.

I don't care about what he did for Parma or whoever, its what he does now that counts in my book. Everybody blows this guy up like he's one of the best new striker out there and its a bunch of BS. Its not being a poster boy but a guy that can take a game into his own hands and this is what Milan is lacking, other than Kaka.

Again with the whole Gila bashing, dribble, pass, shoot and create chances??? Again he's a BOX-STRIKER!!!!!! And he can't pass???? Last season he had 1 of the highest number of assists from our team because of his passes!!!

And how the hell is the guy supposed to score when they players behind him are all playing like sh!t. When the team starts playing well he and our other strikers will start scoring. And now without Kaka they are finding it more difficuilt.

I don't understand why all this sh!t has come up again because of a stupid penalty miss!!! Greats like Van Basten, Sheva and Weah missed penalties. And now all this because Gila missed one, especially now when all of our players seem to have it in for the posts!!

A player like Gila will come good again, you don't have one of the best scoring averages of Serie A just because you were 'the flavour of the month' He wasn't even playing that well last season and he still managed 18 goals!!

For god's sakes lay off the man. The whole team is playing like sh!t not him alone!!!

Some of you guys, I think, just don't understand what football's all about. There are different sorts of strikers. Gila is what we call a pole player, that means that he can receive long balls when he's alone up front, keep it till midfield arrives, pas it, and then get into position for striking. If you watch him play you'll see that he's incredibly good at keeping the ball with him, even when there are 3 defenders pulling from all directions. He's very good at striking, doesn't need a lot of space and in his Parma time he made quite a few athletic goals. ( bicycle kick )

When he was 21 he scored 23 goals in serie A in season 2003/2004
The next season he scored 23 goals, again. Considering that Parma doesn't score that much, this is very very good.

In his first year at Milan, he scored 17 goals, playing next to Sheva who scored 18, even tough Gila did not start every game, because of Pipo's comeback.
Besides it's a fact that in Italy most players, strikers in particular, develop longer and have the peek in their career later then in other countries: Iaquinta and Toni for instance.

So if you think Gila's not good enough, and you'd rather want Eto'o, then go for Barcelona or something, because Gila is the man for Milan!!
