QUOTE (Portugal @ Aug 30 2006, 09:29 PM) I'm checkin' this news section and no new about this... It's in portuguese and brazillian press. AMOROSO, our ex-4th striker signed for Corinthians. Damn, I'm happy. At least with this. So now we are going into the season with only 2 strikers that have ABSOLUTELY no substitutes, we are really asking for it this season, we could really end up without any striker, if god forbid both Pippi and Gila get injured at the same time. I never liked Amoroso and wanted him to leave, but only if we got another striker, not now when we are in a major crises

QUOTE (Costacurta @ Aug 30 2006, 04:21 PM) OMG, Amoroso to Corinthinas, this MUST mean that Tevex (who is at Corinthians) is coming to Milan! Great news! This is excellent. It must be announced tomorrow. thats the only reason it'd happen! I'm so excited! Bring on Tevez! its a very high chance billy, yep... but do you think tevez can handle the italian soccer ?? that would be the real question.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Aug 30 2006, 04:27 PM) No, that's totally not the real question! The real question is if we are actually going to get him. If we do get him, leave the rest TO ME! I'll make sure he fits in well in Serie A! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) lets hope.., if he doesn't fit on the seria A, milan can get him , they just make a bid for him and thats it.. but will he develope on the seria A? because that's the interesting part, not to buy him, milan can get him, but if he does not work, what is he good for... to spend money

QUOTE (Costacurta @ Aug 30 2006, 11:31 PM) I know it hasnt been confirmed, but thats the conclusion i jumped to immediately. i mean, I think its logical really. Great news, the best sign ye tthat Tevez is coming I think. I think hell do well in italy. Well didn`t this Milan summer mercato proved to be everything but logical? No...he won`t come in my opinion.. But pKillerMax asked the right question here..why the f@ck is everybody so excited and happy that Amoroso left?

But pKillerMax asked the right question here..why the f@ck is everybody so excited and happy that Amoroso left? Thats what I thought as well! QUOTE For me it's the real question... Well, as I always say: A good striker can score everywhere, and to be honest if a guy like Suazo can score 20+ goals in Serie A, it's most definetely not a prob for Tevez!

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Aug 30 2006, 11:35 PM) Yeah. I know, it simply wouldn't be rational for them to sell him, we don't have anyone left to sub Gila and Pippo and I'm sure Tevez ain't coming.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Aug 30 2006, 11:43 PM) Yeah, this just doesn't make any sense. Amoroso is set to play tomorrow. How can he leave Milan and then play for us tomorrow? Ex Milan player? BS IMO. Totally right. Our only hope for a new striker is Oliveira and that's it. If he isn't announced by tomorrow then expect to start the season the way we are now, which isn't a bad team, infact some teams would kill to have a squad like ours, but the lack of options at the front and our ageing defence that could self destruct at any given moment during the season is very worrying

Yeah there have been several sites that have indicated that Oliveira was already signed. i ran into one that stated Vogel was at Betis. You can't believe anything til Milan state it on their site, especially some of these smaller news papers.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ Aug 30 2006, 06:35 PM) Well Vogel going to Betis is on the official Betis site. If it was official it would have been on the Milan website. From Football italia-- "Betis President Manuel Luiz de Lopera has complicated the transfer after he reportedly upped his demands by asking for £12m plus Milan midfielder Johann Vogel. The latter has supposedly already passed his medical examination with the Spaniards, but has informed Milan that he is not willing to accept the wage decrease proposed by the Liga outfit." With the Betis site, I think a translation suggested that it wasn't for sure. Vogel maybe following Sobis and the other.

GuardianGuardian wrote that Corinthians plan
signing of former Brazil striker Marcio Amoroso and the sale of Argentina pair Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano This would be great. These two can add a value to Milan, not this clown Oliveira.

QUOTE (adooooo @ Aug 30 2006, 10:14 PM) According to Sky, Gazzetta, and that newspaper that I can´t spell the name of, i´ll give it a try anyway, Corrierro Ricardo Oliveira will be presented as a Milanplayer today. There we go. This is what I got from Sky Oliveira move still in doubt By Nadia Carminati - Created on 30 Aug 2006 LA LIGA MINI-SITELA LIGA MINI-SITE In association with San Miguel, get deeper into Spanish football. Related links Team Pages: * Real Betis * Milan Player Pages: * Ricardo Oliveira Brazilian striker Ricardo Oliveira could be set to stay at Real Betis. The 26-year-old has been strongly linked with a move to Milan but, with time running out until the transfer window shuts, an agreement has yet to be found Milan coach Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he is frustrated by the stalemate, and may have to turn his attentions elsewhere. He is still looking to sign a forward, but feels his side is strong in attack and would be able to cope without Oliveira. "It is true that Milan are trying to bring in a striker," he said. "Oliveira would work well with (Filippo) Inzaghi and (Alberto) Gilardino, but we will see what happens. "If Oliveira does not arrive we would not tear our hair out. "He is not very well known but is a top quality player. "If we sign him it is ok. Otherwise we will sign someone else." Brazilian striker Alecsandro had been lined up by Betis to replace Olivira if he left, but he has now joined Sporting Lisbon from Cruzeiro. Alecsandro's €6 million (£ 4 million) move to the Portuguese giants means that Betis would be left short of options up front if Oliveira seals a late move.
GuardianGuardian wrote that Corinthians plan
signing of former Brazil striker Marcio Amoroso and the sale of Argentina pair Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano This would be great. These two can add a value to Milan, not this clown Oliveira.
West Ham United are set to pull off a major coup by the signing Argentine stars Carlos Tevez and Javier Mascherano, skysports.com can reveal. Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United were all thought to be competing for the duo, along with some of the continents elite including Bayern Munich and Milan. However, The Hammers have struck a deal with Media Sports Investments (MSI) - who own the rights to the Corinthians pair. South American sources claim Portsmouth were also in line to broker a move, but it seems MSI have decided that a move to West Ham will best serve their prize assets. The deal is believed to be initially for a season-long loan for the duo - but it could become permanent if all parties are happy, although it remains to be seen whether West Ham could affor them with both players carrying price tags of over £15 million. The pair are both currently already in England ahead of this weekend's Brazil versus Argentina clash at Arsenal's brand new Emirates Stadium and this has aided the move. A statement on Tevez's website claims a move is done for himself and Mascherano. "Carlitos Tevez along with his former Corinthians team-mate, Javier Mascherano, has signed a contract to play with West Ham United of England," read the statement.

Mascherano...the hell he would be a waste at West Ham. I would love to see him here at Milan. Can`t exactly say the same about Tevez...when did he ever where that good, to deserve such praise? Only when Milan played back a couple of years against Boca...at the WC? Nah, the big matches showed him in his real light. Just another overrated Argentinian. But, the fact that he is only 22 is something. That means it`s still room for improvements... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
