QUOTE (Portugal @ Jul 18 2006, 02:54 PM) For me he has a lot of potential. He's 'Milan-quality' and he's still improving (he's young 24, I think). If he join us, we would change his atittude and his consistence. I believe. For me he's the perfect partnership for Gila. I think that if Sheva was still there he would have partnered with him and that would be good. But till date there is no good attack as Sheva and Inzaghi.

Ibrahimovic is much better player than Gilardino. Zlathan is a complete player, he is tall and a nice jumper, he knows how to dribble, we must get him. I think that he can play along with Toni, another excellent singing. Pippo, Gila and Amoroso are not good players nowadays, we must find replacement. I think that selling kaka por 100 millon would be an excellent deal, there are many players in the world chepear that can play the way he did last season.
an uruguayan rossonero like Pepe Schiaffino

ibra can dribble yeah and this is useful since he can hold the ball up more too ... gilardino cant do this at all ... he is a goal scorer i think ibrahimovic will score around 15 goals ( prediction ) but he will more try to assist gilardino since we need a striker that can move in around the box i think ibra is the man ... oh yeah
2 other words
Ibra Cadabra

True, kaka is a great player and we should not let him go ever. We should sign Ibrahimovich, I think he is the best replacement for Shevchenko OUT OF the available choices at the moment, otherwise I think only a player like Thierry Henry can replace Shevchenko.

Sports.it Ibrahimovic agente, Raiola, says that it probably too late for Juventus, trying to secure the swedish. He says he's not saying that he had already a meeting with Milan... he prefers the silence about that thing. I think there's gonna be a meeting next week, Juventus trying to give Ibra a new contract... but as the agent said, probably it's too late.

you must be dreaming or something when last did you see Ibra scoring a goal not even in the world cup look at what inzaghi did at the world cup he just came on for a couple of second and he seal the game, for me he is the best striker around the box in the entire serie A especially in the air.

Aaron no doubt that Inzhgai is a grreat player in the box,and yes he did score in the world cup while Ibrahimovich didn't.thats true but you also have to take in to account that Italy has a lot of gifted stars in the team who provide amazing passes to their strikers( in this case Perotta set up Inzhagi beautifully ). In the other hand Ibrahimovich hardly had anyone with the qualiteis of Pirlo,Perotta,Totti or Cammronaesi in his team ( Sweden ). Their best midfiled player was Ljunberg and that is just ONE. All I am saying is that you cannot compare them internationaly, yes in the season he scored more goals but inzhgais role is completely different than of Ibrahimovich,Ibrahimovich also sets up goals, along with scoring, for Trezuget while Inzhagi used to finish the pases from our great midfielders and Shevchenko.Ibrahimovich plays the same role as Sheva did for AC Milan.Ibrahimovich just had a bad season otherwise he is a very gifted player. You can't compare Zlatan to Inzaghi or Gilardino. That's a totally different type of a striker. One is tecnical and with skills, that can play inside or outside the box. The other one can only play inside the box to make the last shot. It's different, and we need both types to pair up.

Thank You Portugal, for a second I thought I was talking to deaf ears. Pippo and Gila are only finishers,Aaron I can guarantee you that Pippo nor Amoroso will have a goal which is going to be an individual goal ( which means running from atleast 40 metres out , dogging defenders and then finishing ) this season. These two are great finishers, without a doubt better than Ibrahimovich in finishing BUT they can never create a chance/gaps by themselves out of nothing while Ibrahimovich can. This is what Shewvchekos job was,he created gaps in the defence and then either score them himself or set them up for the finishers Gila or Pippo.Thats why we need Ibra to replace him. He's not as good as Sheva but its better than nothing. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) and take it easy, respect others opinions dude!! Actually PaOlo there was this one goal u could see on the 113 goals compilation...where Inzaghi took the ball from our half (from a throw Dida made to him) and went all the way to score....that was pretty cool.
We are quick to categorize Pippo...he may not have all the moves Judas has but to imply that he's just a penalty box hero is being uncharitable.
@Aaron aka Asquare...chill man...we're all worked up over a lot of things...but let's not make judgements ok...all opinions are right in their own way. Things'll work out...they always do.

Hahahahaha lol.I knew someone would bring up that goal of Inzhagis. lol . Well he is capable ofcourse but he hasn't got it anymore,he's getting older, people don't get younger every year ( Cafu is a different case ). QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Aug 5 2006, 10:42 PM) Well, if we need an example of age meets potential, we have our very own Maldini. Though he didn't prove much last season, I feel he has something to prove this season. Pippo? He'll always be there scoring those last gasp goals, the critical ones. But Cafu, I think he has lost his touch .. He was very slow playing with Brazil @ WC. He barely left a mark and costacurta (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

There goes another player !!! can't wait to see who this surprise player is that Braida has promised, it will be really funny if nobody comes or if he himself joins the team.lol. I'm just taking my anger out on the milan management, I just can't believe they are not taking Shevchenkos departure seriously !!! aftr watching our match against Red Star, I can promise you all one thing; unless we sign a great forward, we cannot in a hundred years win with this team in any competetion ( mabye in coppa italia but even Roma are now a threat to this crappy team of ours ). whats the point of having an amazing defence and midfield when you ahve no one to finish/score. 1-0 against RED STAR ????

Agree with you 100%. We all saw what happened last season when Sheva was injured, Pippo and Gila do not work well together, they need a better forward to supply them with scoring opportunities. Now that Zlatan is out of the picture, who the hell are we going to sign? Torres is way too expensive if Braida can't even give Juve 23 million euros for Ibra. Tevez has never been spoken of when it comes to Milan and Drogba has signed a new deal with Chelsea. It'll probably be Suazo...or Ronaldo. They're just as good and we also know what they can do in Serie A. But we don't need a benchwarmer now, if we want another benchwarmer we can stick with Boriello. Torres, Tevez, Adriano or possibly, as a last gasp, David Suazo. That's my list of players that is good enough and that's actually in some way on the market right now...

QUOTE Inter now want Buffon! Friday 11 August, 2006
After signing the Juventus duo of Patrick Vieira and Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Inter chief Massimo Moratti is reportedly eyeing a move for Gigi Buffon.
Stories in the peninsula on Friday suggest that the Via Durini outfit expressed an interest in the world champion during negotiations for Ibra’s transfer on Wednesday.
The Nerazzurri are understood to have offered the Old Lady almost £13m and veteran ‘keeper Francesco Toldo in return for the current Italian No 1.
Although Buffon has pledged his future to the Bianconeri outfit he could be tempted by the opportunity of competing for the Scudetto and playing in the Champions League this term.
Juventus have declared that the player is untransferable, but may now consider the option of letting him go if Inter striker Julio Cruz were to be included in the move.
Moratti’s club, who take on Juventus tonight in a three-team tournament along with Napoli, is now considering Juve’s request for Cruz to be included in any proposed deal for the custodian.
It’s unclear, though, whether the 32-year-oold Argentine would accept Second Division football – even with La Vecchia Signora.
Milan are also still in the race to sign Buffon and are seemingly waiting to make an offer after their Champions League preliminary round tie against Red Star Belgrade on August 23.
Juventus fans are keeping their fingers crossed that Buffon doesn’t move on to Inter as the Tuttosport newspaper, based in Turin, outlined today.
Their front page underlined the frustration of the supporters who haven’t taken too kindly to Juventus strengthening their great rivals this summer.
channel4.com Another Milan target goin to Inter? This is becoming a circus...
