I want milan to make some changes next season, with the like of cris, gabriel heinze, come in thanks for gallas approval, in the midfield let try to sign in simao, francesco totti, tores and toni in attack. if any club show interst for gila with good offer to avoid loss, i think we should open the door for him to go, cos to me he didn't live up to expectation. in defence, stam is set to live and maldini and costarcuta are tired leg i think we need some signing which i have listed above to srenghten the team especcially the defence. simao will be a suitable replacement for rui costa, marquez as the utility in defence and midfield.

QUOTE (pKillerMax @ May 12 2006, 06:16 PM) Yeah, I have no reason to live anymore... Milan without Sheva is like a person without a heart... I can't breathe without my heart... Life is so very very cruel... Milan will exist without Sheva, it did exist without him in the past too. Of course their won't be any replacement for him, but hey that's what they thought when van Basten left. Though I never expected Sheva to leave, especially to this Chelski who signs every good player right now. Ok, just to stick to the Thread this the team I think will play for Milan Next season... --------------------------------------Dida------------------------------------------------ ---------Cafu/Gallas---------Nesta-------Maldini/Costacurta------------Serginho--- ---------------------------------------Pirlo------------------------------------------------ ----------------------Gattuso---------Kaka------------------------Seedorf/Sneijder--- ----------------------------Adriano------------------Gila/Inzaghi------------------------ Yap, I guess Adriano would be Shevas replacement, because his style is very similar to Shevas, their would be much more Change in tactics with Henry.

Adriano said he wants to stay at Inter but I don't think Milan are interested in him anyway...IMO Henry is a more possible target

Players go through but MILAN stays forever!

QUOTE (dst @ May 15 2006, 12:33 PM) so..it comes down to Nelson (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) but...what about Serginho isn't he old too??and...besides that..he's not a LB!!!! Never was.... He is (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) We need Italian defence, that's already clear. Maldini is old, he won't be playing. May be Palermo's defender, what was his name? hmm, Barzalgi? right? Anyways I'd like to add one Brazilian attacking defender (sounds great (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ). Midfiled looks like something great, with Sneider and Kaka I think everything will be more then ok. But why don't we want Vogel to play also?? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Gila is definitly in the attack, I don't know about Sheva, if he leaves a lot of Milanista hearts are going to be broken. But the medal has the opposite side. May be that'll do good? (I'm sorry for this words (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) ). And other attackers will be freed (kinda). Sheva won't be dominanting no more, and they can brief easily. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I don't won't to see Adriano or Eto here. No matter what!! Henry is awesome, Torres?? if he comes, he has to prove himself in Milan, and I think that'll be hard, very hard. May be Bojinov with Gila?? You'll say too weak of an attack. I'll say may be yes, may be not (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Nah, Bojinov is another one of these talented young strikers that have a huge lack of experience. He barely played this season with Luca Toni in front of him. What about Toni, by the way? Wouldn't he be an awesome striker? I'm not quite sure if he's willing to leave Fiorentina??? And to Van der Vaart. He's extremly talented AND experienced. But the Hamburger SV wouldn't let him go after this season. They wan't to win the Bundesliga next season, and to achieve this, they need Van der Vaart...

QUOTE (Portugal @ May 14 2006, 09:52 PM) Yes. I would like an ofensive RB... but... Cafu? Cmon... with all the respect, he's old. Yeah he is, but on the right flank, he is a much better option than Gallas. Well, a better option defensively. Thats why I had Oddo in my "ideal team". Another great RB is Casetti from Lecce but he is on his way to Roma so that is to forget. Why not another brazilian? take out some money and steal Daniel Alves(Sevilla) from Barcelona. They have been interested in him for some while and e sure is a great player. If not, then Nelson. Those matches I have seen with him he has been quite good. Than I say it again, travel to South America, sooooo many talents, I swear we could find one really great player just if our scouts tried a bit. Look at Kaká, no mistake in getting him. Of those players that I can think of that we bought young these past seasons, most of them have been great. Look at this! All of these players we bought when they where under 23 and look at them now. *Kaká, do I need to explain it? *Pirlo, he was pretty young when we got him, and look how he has developed. *Gilardino, has made a good season and I am sure he will make an even better next year. *Shevcheno, what to say? He was 22 when we bought him and look at him now. *Gattuso, came as a 21(?)-year old. Our litte teddybear at the midfield is great great and every team should have a player like him in their line-up.

the players you mention above are world-class... Not all South-Americans are that good. The main problem with them Brazilians and Co. is the discipline factor!!90% of them know the secrets of ball handling like it's a part of their own bodies but then 90% them are incapable to apply their technique in the tactical aspect of the game (that's kind of confusing cause the latter is easier but it's probably bacause they play for themselves). The combination is really hard to find but then again thats what makes footballers like Kaka so special... again.....doesn't anyone consider the Messi option??? he obviously lacks experience but I haven't seen this anywhere on the pitch and that's what really matters..On the other hand Henry, an experienced player was nowhere to be found in any (ANY!!!) crucial CL match in the previous seasons...he had to reach 29 to do that...and that matters!!!

Maybe with a new tuffer coach they could learn. No I know I mentioned southamericans, it doesn´t really matter the only demand that I have is that the player is young. It doesn´t have to be a player young like Freddy Adu, 24 and under is just enough. There are plenty of players that could and should be in the Milan squad. Here are just a few; Torres, Sneijder, Maxwell, Pablo, Gonzalo, Lucho Gonzales(well he is 25, but what a player), Ribery, David Villa, van der Vaart, Nelson Here are a few, now, I don´t want all of these in Milan but these are great players despite their young age. And when Rui Costa leaves, kaka has to get a stand-in. Why not a younger player and not a player that is 30+.

QUOTE (LaPalma @ May 15 2006, 11:30 PM) Hmm...I don't think Maldini can still play the left wing. I'm afraid he became to slow... And I don't see Abbiati strong enough to be our keeper.Dida is better though it definetely wasn't his best season. As I said I'd also like Luca Toni as new striker. But does anyone know if he's really willing to transfer? Lets consider every field step by step: Coach: Ancelotti is still the best option I suppose. After the coming season we will see, maybe then we will be able to sign Rijkaard. But for now, Carlo is a satisfactorily solution. Keepers: Dida should stay the Nr. 1, even if Abbiati returns. Also, Kalac, and eventually Fiori can be second keepers or jump in for unexpected situations. Eventuall transfer option: Doni (Roma) Defenders: The CB positions are, for the starting line-up clear - Nesta and Kaladze played last season very good, and derserve our full confidence. Maldini and Costacurta should also be considered for this positions (CB). Maldini still can play 20-25 matches on a high level, but not as left wing. Kaladze is too defensive, if Ancelotti decides to continue with his offensive approach. So the left wing position is the first problem. I am convinced Serginho can play another great season, but his age can cause injury or fitness problems. Jankulovski is a real option. The right side seems to be secured by the contract extension of Cafu and Simic. Marzoratti could also make a few appearances. I must say, Jaap Stams departure is a big loss. Still, the defense line necessarily needs refreshments. Suggested options: Gallas(Chelsea), Heitinga(Ajax), Barzagli(Palermo) [/B], Oddo(Lazio), Pasqual (Fiorentina), Chivu (Roma) or even Lahm(Bayern) if he makes some good WC matches. Midfielders: If Rui Costa leaves, Kaka will need a alternative. Maybe Bouldek, but this is not a sure option. Perhaps our scouts discover a young unknown talent, or we could make a more concrete move by signing Fiore(Fiorentina) or by bringing back Cassano (Real Madrid) to Italy. There are some rumours that Milan will sign Poulsen(Schalke 04) as a DM, but I dont see how he is needed. Ambrosini, Vogel and Pirlo cover this position. Seedorf is also reliant for the left side. But the right side needs reinforcements - Gattuso is a great defensive worker. However, when it comes to specific attacking dutys, he is limited. So I suggest as a possible new player the Croatian right winger Srna(Sakhtar D.). Other possibilities in the midfield: Sneijder (Ajax), van der Vaart (HSV), Diarra (Lyon), Borowski (Werder)... Attackers: No problems if Shevchenko stays! Then it will be enough to add Crespo (Chelsea) or Vucinic (Lecce). Inzaghi proved his class once more, I guess Amoroso is a option also, only Gilardino was not that convinceing last season, when it came to important big matches. I hope it is only a question of experience. But if Sheva leaves for Chelski, except of broken hearts we would have more offensive difficulties to pass. In that case Torres (Atletico), Henry (Arsenal) or Toni (Fiorentina) must be our priorities. So, this is just my brief observation...maybe something unexpected happens at the Mercato, or some WC player stars, so...lets hope we put a great team together for the next season and finally win some trophies (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

Let's say we find out which one to bring to Milan after WC Barzagli or Oddo! Gallas is a very good option also, I think! Fillipo Simone if you want men for big matches, then Milan should start considering Gerard and Henry. Inzaghi?? This year was "swan's last song" . I hope I'm mistaking but "we need to scream for Messi" (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

guys I think we should wait...If Juve is relegated we might even get Buffon and Cannavaro...if Fiorentina is relegated too, we'll get Luca Toni..but we might be relegated also so we'll get a big fat --(IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) -- !!!!!!!

Some weeks ago Real Madrid wanted, and Gerrard made very clear that he'll stay with Liverpool. Henry would be very cool btw, but only if Sheva really leaves, I still hope he won't... To Lahm I can say he'll definetely play in the WC. He 'll be ok in 2 weeks as far as I know...

QUOTE (sashxxx87 @ May 17 2006, 01:47 PM) I think Sheva will not leave and if he will?He will not. What about defence i always wanted Chivu but Roma doesn't think so. I don't know what to say more i think KALADZE NESTA CAN PLAY VERY NICE.IF ONE OF THEM CAN"T PLAY?Gallas. I also think the Nesta-Kaladze duo played great . I would buy another 2 defender , young talented defenders. If sheva leaves , we need a world class striker who doesn't need kaka's help to score a goal , one who can make his own moves . Not like gilardino & inzaghi who are depending on the midfield to deliver. I wouldn't mind having a new winger , who can play both on the left & right. Young & fast , perhaps C. Ronaldo ? I just hope we get the reinforcements we need , wich I'm sure we will (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Gila is not like that..he had his moves when playing in Parma, he used to take the ball on his own cause virtually there was no such player as a midfielder..We made him play differently he might play even better next year like that but he definetely has what you ask.I'm not saying we don't need a new attacker just like the one you described, we definetely do, I'm just commenting on what you said about Gila... Did you watch liverpool's match against Westham! FA Cup Final or League final! (don't know). Gerard broke the flow of the game, exceptionally well braking the moral of the opposite players!

OK that's fair!!!!!!!!!! (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) that's also what I like in him; he is a real captain he gives his teammates the feeling that everything is alright and that they can make it even when they're down!!

QUOTE (GULLIVER @ May 19 2006, 01:09 PM) True true true What I'm saying is he know how to play well, but he doesn't do it often! Did you watch liverpool's match against Westham! FA Cup Final or League final! (don't know). Gerard broke the flow of the game, exceptionally well braking the moral of the opposite players! But Gerrard wont be leaving Liverpool this summer. Also Henry stays! Maybe Drogba isnt such a bad idea? After all he stated that he wants to leave the Premier League. He is younger than Crespo, and really has some quality. And why does everyone here consider Abbiat as the No. 1 keeper? I am still with Dida. Abbiat is for the bench or they can use him for mercato transactions!? QUOTE (Glorious Stripes @ May 19 2006, 11:49 PM) Milan really need substitutes for Cafù and Sergighno.... Oddo in the right and Zambrotta in the left would be perfect (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Hi to you! Well, Serginho and Cafu are still great, but yes they need some extra and fresh backup. Zambrotta would be great, you know, he is one of the few Juve players I really respect. For the right wing I would really suggest Dario Srna from..I know it looks a bit like "local-patriotism" (he is from Croatia too like me..) but he is a hell of a player and I hope he proves himself on the WC.. Gerrard is the only English player that I respect the others are all over hyped and players like Beckham who is more of a celebrity than a football player. Liverpool would be nothing without Gerrard he is there to lead and inspire their team without him they would be nothing, and we all saw this last year in the CL (espacially against us in the final) and this year in the FA cup final where the team always had to come from behind he was the one to put in the first goal and continue to lead them and they would miraculasly win. But I am also not saying that Liverpool don't have any luck with them and it's all just Gerrard because I have never seen luck like theirs when they played against us in the final, the ammount of sitters that we missed after they scored those three goals was just painfully funny (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

At last we have mentioned Gerrard. For me, our midfield is looking tired and frankly, as if it can't be bothered, particularly Seedorf. Pirlo has also begun to worry me, absolutely uninfluential in the CL.
Top quality defenders are so rare. Former Rossoneri Ayala getting on, and we're losing one of a dying breed in Stam. Carvahlo should be investigated, given his discontent at Chelski.
I welcome Crespo, but only as a poss Inzaghi man. For Sheva, only someone like Rooney or the now unavailable Henry, who Milan should have made an effort for. I also rate Owen highly, he just needs a good team, something which Newcastle arnt, but don't think he'll ever leave England now.
--------------------------------------Buffon/Coupet--------------------------------------
Cafu/Zambrotta-----------Nesta---------------Costacurta/Carvahlo-----Maldini/Janku
--------------------------------------Pirlo/Gattuso----------------------------------------
----------------Gattuso/Gerrard--------------------Gerrard/Serginho-------------------
------------------------------------------Kaka----------------------------------------------
Sheva/Rooney Inzaghi/Crespo
I feel that this team, with some of the additions would do well. I trust in our legendary defenders, though admit that due to their age some depth would be helpful, but the likes of Serg and Kaladze will help.
Pirlo replacement could be Gattuso and bring in some top quality midfielders. For me, Seedorf just doesn't care any more, and looks positively lacklustre and lazy on the ball. Crespo proven Serie A performer. Rooney a class act, with the extra creativity that Sheva has but not the likes of Inzaghi or Crespo.
I hope Simao is a joke.

QUOTE (Costacurta @ May 20 2006, 12:27 AM) At last we have mentioned Gerrard. For me, our midfield is looking tired and frankly, as if it can't be bothered, particularly Seedorf. Pirlo has also begun to worry me, absolutely uninfluential in the CL. I think that sometimes Seedorf can be amazing depending on the day and sometimes like you said he seems like he can't even be bothered, if their would be more rotation between him and Janku I think that he will get his act together because then he will know that he will have to compete for his first team place, and Janku has always impressed when he is called upon, he scored a goal and made some great assists so I think that we have that side covered. Pirlo on the other hand has had a very unimpressive season mostly due to exostion and burn out, we have all seen his performances become more and more weak as the season progressed. This happened because we don't have a natural replacement for him and we play him in practically every game. In the beggining of the season he was doing great, he was putting in free-kicks and making does killer passes dow the centre of the field but as the season progressed he got tired so his performances got weak. As you said someone like gerrard can solve a lot of our problems becuase he can either take Gattuso's place, seedorf's or take pirlo's place and be a creative force like Pirlo is because ha can pass as well as pirlo. As for Gattuso, well he is one of the engines that drives Milan (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif) And for the attack I think that Crespo would be a great accusition alongside Gallas if we lose Sheva to chelsea, he already prooved that he could be a great Milan player so I hope the if we do lose sheva at least we'll gain him, Gallas and money to buy some quality players (but not players like Favalli PLEASE)

Milan should play hardball on the negotiation for sheva since he has confirmed that he want to leave, this might be what will happen next season at least I hope so
First we should go for the 50mil, Gallas AND Crespo. When Crespo was at milan he was great I think we should try to get him too since he has already proved that he would be a great player in the Milan shirt.
But if it comes down to choosing between him and gallas I would choose gallas obviously.
If we do manage to get the 50mil and both players that would be amazing, because lets face it sheva will be 30 next year and how many years would he have been able to play at the level that he is currently playing now?
Then I would spend the 50mil on buying a good right back since Cafu only has a year left on his contract and he also ain't what he used to be. Then I'd buy a good midfielder someone that can replace Kaka when we need him to, since we lost Rui. And the most important one is to get a striker that can score long distance shots (like sheva) score from inside the box(like sheva) and has great heading ability (like sheva). Because with Inzaghi, Gila and Crespo we wouldn't have a complete striker like sheva was since they are all mostly box players, that is the only reason that I am going to miss Sheva because he is a complete striker and that is very hard to find right now
And if we have some spare cash left we should try to find someone that could take Pirlo's place because we don't have a natural replacement for him and that is why he has been total crap in the second half of the season because of burnout, despite what Ancellotti said about getting someone like Emerson (which I don't like the idea at all I hate that guy) to play next to Pirlo to allow him more space, then how does he explain how great he was in the first part of the season, it's because he wasn't exhausted from playing in every game of the season that's why. Maybe we should ask chelsea for Lampard too just to make it a bit sweeter for us since we are loosing one of our star players

Lol, thought the Lampard point is excellent. Great attacking Midfielder who scores a prodigous number from midfield. A great replacement for the tired, lethargic and lazy Seedorf. Him or Gerrard, and considering its Chelski that want Sheva.... I reckon £30m plus Lamp(tho itll never happen lol), Crespo and Gallas would be useful. At the end of the day, this transfer is at our inconvinience. Why not put Chelski to some real inconvinience for him. Trust me, not even £50m is inconvinience for Roman.
Talking of loaded owners, it's about time Burlusconi shelled out for some proper fresh blood. I'm thinking 1 new player for ever pson, ie GK, D, MF and FWD.
Come on Silvio!

Yeah, I also dont care...I suppose we will sacrifice this new season for a greater ideal/reason. But then we will be back. We need of course some help of our Primaveras, and I cant find many players...that bothers me I must say (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) . Lino is a hope,..I also think that buying a superstar like Eto`o or a player from, lets say Real, Barca, ManUtd,.. someone "trendy", is just not Milans style. Still, Adriano is tempting (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) , or even Cisse? But I suggest we search just like we did for Sheva or van Basten, Boban or Savicevic. So take a look at Ajax, some other dutch clubs, some French clubs maybe, the African and East E. teams at WC (CIV, Togo(?), Angola, Ghana; Croatia, Serbia&Montenegro, Ukraine, Poland, Sweden). Just to continue the tradition (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif) .

Have any of you been watching the Italy under-21 lately, there are some great players on that team the one that struck me the most yesterday while I was watching a game was Foggia I think his name was he was great he has speed, he can dribble (he went past at least 5 players yesterday and got a great shot on goal but the keeper made a miraculous save) he can pass, and he has a great shot both from distance and close range. So I think that our scouting staff should take a look at all of the italian clubs not just inter juve and the other top clubs (I forgot what club he plays for I think that it is Ascoli, not sure) because the answer to our problems could be right underneath our noses and we won't take any notice and pass our chance to get a future Italian champion

I, cant finnd reachable player on Serginio position help me. [/quote] As LB, huh, that proves how Maldini is(was) great and how its difficult at this position! Well, we certainly have Favalli, but then again (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) ...Maybe P. Lahm or that Boka (I a,m not so sure how to spell him, but remember his plays for Ivory Coast at ANC)? Of course the ideal one (for me) would be Zambrotta (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !

My realistic team:
-------------------Gilardino-------Tevez--------------
------------------------------Kaka--------------------------
------------Seedorf---------------------Gattuso---------
------------------------------Pirlo---------------------------
---------Serginho-----Gallas----Nesta-----Oddo-------
-----------------------------Dida-----------------------------
New subs: Foggia Gourcuff(spelling) Barzagli Kompany farfan
We need to buy younger players or promote them from our primavera team. I rather have Ardemangi,Pozzi or borriello on the bench than Amoroso. I think the best way for the young players to develop is to train with the best players and learn from the best and milan got the best players.
Look at arsene wenger, he's always looking for new talents. Theo walcott, eboue, van persie, toure, senderos, reyes,Fabregas.
P.S: how is Favalli gonna improve the team? galliani you cheap motha F***er.
