QUOTE Milan eye Diego
Thursday 2 November, 2006 ::: channel4.com
Werder Bremen midfielder Diego is reportedly a target for Milan after his impressive start to the season.
The 21-year-old, who moved to the Bundesliga side in May 2006 from Porto, has already scored six goals in his 12 domestic and Champions League appearances.
His form saw him included in the list of 22 players called up by Brazil Coach Carlos Dunga for the upcoming friendly match with Switzerland, scheduled on November 15 in Basel.
The Werder man, capped 12 times by the Selecao, was signed by the Sao Paulo team Santos at the age of 12 and grew up in their youth team, making his debut in 2002.
He moved to Porto in 2004 in a £5m deal, but struggled to find a place in the starting line-up and was bought by Werder Bremen last summer for £4.2m, signing a contract until 2010.
The player immediately adapted to his new surroundings and has expressed his best football in the past few months, impressing his Coach Thomas Schaaf and the Milan observers.
Diego has an Italian passport as well, which makes him even more enticing for the Rossoneri, who could make a summer move to bring him to the San Siro. Are we going to sell Kaka'? If not, why Diego?! He's good for Werder. Not for Milan.

Diego is a great player, and I'm sure he won't stay in Bremen forever, but we have Ricky, so we don't need Diego.

but we have gourcuff, i don´t think we need that diego crap, a saw him in santos and personally i don´t like him, i´d prefer sneijder for milan, if we don´t get ronaldinho (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) , deside that, i still prefer spend a little more money in a player like oddo to reinforce our defence instead the midfield, i think we have the best midfield in the world right now just as silvio said (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Nov 4 2006, 01:17 AM) If ur refering to the tree, IMO, we need a lot more than a Seedorf replacment to make it work mish Exactly, we need a Sheva type triker, not even Henry could pull it off, because he would just drift to the left for 3/4 of the game and you would be left with no one up front. I think Sheva and Eto'o are the only ones who can make it work

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Nov 4 2006, 03:15 AM) Well with our squad right now, it won't work ... not that it's not good enough, but since they don't enjoy it, it would never work !! And yes I can say such things; my ego is only blown out on the field I find it idiotic to not admit somrthing like this !!
