QUOTE (mchanna @ Aug 13 2007, 12:18 AM) for 27m.... expensive, but he's quality. I quite forgot that RM had Metzelder too! I thought I mis-read then but that's Euro's, when you think Man United bought Hargreaves for the same price, then this really isnt that bad of a deal. A player I would have really liked to see in Rossoneri colours, another one... (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

(IMG: http://www.as.com/composition/images/das/das/por/2007/08/1187001901.jpg) Rumours in Spain that the Ballack-deal was almost done until Madrid president Calderon said "NO" because of their new policy in the transfer-window. Then they signed Wesley Sneijder. Only buying young and quality players for the first 11. [Casillas, Marcelo, Pepe, Ramos, Adrián Gonzalez, Drenthe, Sneijder, Gago, Diarra, Higuain, Robinho, Soldado, Cicinho, Robben?!... ] I think it's difficult to find another European club with such number of quality players under-25/26. Probably M.United? Raúl, Guti, Emerson, Nistelrooy, Salgado and Cannavaro will be what? 2-3 years more with them? Probably just for the locker-room importance. Just like United with Gary Neville, Scholes, Giggs, etc.

With his style he can score 20+ goals a season even when he's 33. The others...yes.

When the hell did they buy soldado? (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Man, only if we bought a couple players like that... This squad would have been ideal for us this season: Dida, Kalac, Fiori Nesta, Bonera, Kaladze, Maldini, Barzagli, Simic, Oddo, Jankulovski, Cafu, Serginho, Favalli, Darmian Gattuso, Pirlo, Sneijder, Gourcuff, Kaka, Seedorf, Ambrosini, Brocchi Ronaldo, Inzaghi, Gilardino, Quagliarella, Pato Now that's a squad with just enough depth to compete in all competitions. And it's not even too much to ask. A normal transfer market should look like that. (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

It seems that Rafael van der Vaart wants to talk himself to Valencia. They offered Hamburg 14M (way not enough IMO...he's worth as much as Sneijder at least) and he said things like "I absolutely want to leave. Valencia is a dream. It would would hurt me if I were to stay in Hamburg". Still hope he's not leaving...would be a big loss for the Bundesliga.
