AH!

I completely forgot about the games tonight!

Just turned on, it's in the 75th minute. Current Score: Venezuela 1-2 Uruguay. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

EDIT: The hosts tournement is over. 3-1 Uruguay, Christian Ridriguez of PSG the scorer, nice goal.

EDIT 2: 4-1, Forlan. His second of the game, apparently.

Chile 0-1 Brazil.

Robinho corner, flicked on, Juan at the back post to head it in.

EDIT: I think my eyes are deceiving me, Julio Baptista scored a goal? I must be real tired. 2-0 Brazil.

EDIT 2: Robinho has looked a different class in this tournement, sign him up! 3-0. Great goal.

4-0, was a tap in, but still, Robinho's on form. 5 goals against Chile in this tournement. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

He is showing consistency, especially in a knock out tournament .. That proves to show his maturity ..

Though he is facing defenses weaker than he would in la liga or CL .. Still, he is leading his country through this tournament ..

I like players like that .. Good luck to him (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

5-0 Brazil. Josue of Sao Paolo scored it, not heard of him to be honest. Played well today, though.

EDIT: Chile score .. never mind. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Aside from Robinho, Josue has been the Brazilian player who's impressed me most thus far in the Copa.

6-1. Vagner Love.

It shows you're having a good day when VL and Baptista score in the same game. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

If they can score against Chile, it's no wonder Robinho netted 5 against them... the moment he scores a crucial goal I will start considering him a good player!

PS Vágner Love for f@ck's sake!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'm sure Real fans will tell you about him and crucial goals. He came off the bench to win them games countless times.

Not countless, it was 2 or 3 times (last season)... I remember more occasions of him screwing up! Anyway... he's not anything special IMO. He's got very good technique but his game is a rigmarole...

Well, not a bad way to start of the QFs, 12 goals in 2 games. Gotta love the Copa. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)

Robinho needs to play as SS in Madrid (4-4-2) or as LW/RW in a 4-3-3 (a la Barcelona).

Otherwise he can't play his best. Just like this season when he played 99% of his matches as LW in a pure 4-4-2. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

That's why I don't consider him to be a great player... he's not versatile at all (he has a certain type of play, if it's not working then his game is over before it even starts...) and it's not like Capello asked him to play as a goalie! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It's a must for modern footballers to come back and defend unless they're as good as R20 or Kaka... and Robinho is millions of miles away from those two!
