It wouldn't make a difference. They're just simply not good enough.  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

When I saw the PK shootout between Chelsea and Liverpool the german commentator invented one of the silliest terms I ever heard of (or maybe the english press invented it...anyway). After Lampard scored he said that Ballack teached him in the art of the "Mercedes Penalty" (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

It's about time we win one, let's just hope it's a big one.  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's always the same, we are going to win it, then a week before we have no chance, then we win one game and have every chance again, we reach the quarters by this time everyone in the country is watching then we lose on penalties, it's about as obvious as Steffi Graff's nose that we aren't going to win anything for a long time (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

A nice human interest story has come out of the U21s.

During the Italy-England game, Aquilani took a free kick that flew into the stands and the ball broke the arm of a young Dutch fan who'd come with his youth team to watch the game.

The Italian FA heard about this and invited the boy and his parents to meet the team. The boy (who, incidentally is a big fan of Milan) got autographs from the players and coaches, got an Aquilani jersey, and played pingpong with some of the players.

It was a nice thing for the Italian team to do.

3rd places Portugal and Italy play for the Olympics at 19:30 (7 minutes).

Italy will beat us easily. Attention on Nocerino: very good. Juventus just signed him

Give your team some credit. You have very talented players. It will be a close game.

Players we have. The problem is that we don't have "a team". Specially with a coach like Couceiro. [Scolari in the other hand is amazing changing the mentality of group, that's why he's a top coach]

Couceiro was the coach that "gave" Benfica the title in 2005... he was in FCPorto on the last 4 months of that season.

Plus, we DON'T HAVE strikers. It's our BIG problem. Not only in Scolari squad - AA team - but in all of our young NT's.

I pick Italy to win 2-1.

They've played pretty well in every game, just been very unlucky. As Porty said, even thuogh they did get 4 last time out, they don't really have a striker.

I am, it's not been the greatest game.

I just want to see another huge penalty shoot out. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
