It seems like we were fined E100.000 for wearing shirts with the bwin logo printed on it... poor Silvio! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

We got E3m for progressing though.

Wasn't Lippi the one who said Roma had 51% chances to go trough? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Lippi talks a lot... pardon him, he's unemployed! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Ranieri offers Milan support

Thursday 12 April, 2007

Claudio Ranieri has rejected suggestions that he is supporting former club Chelsea in the Champions League. “I will be cheering for Italy,” the Parma tactician told Datasport this evening.

The London club qualified for the semi-finals of the competition this week after defeating another of Ranieri’s ex-clubs in the shape of Valencia, but he’s ready to forget his Stamford Bridge past to spur on Milan.

“I think that Milan can get past Manchester United in the semi-finals,” continued the Coach. “They’ve been one of the favourites since the very start.

“That is why I will say that Milan have what is needed in their squad to even beat this Manchester United team.”

The latter strolled into the last four thanks to a 7-1 thrashing of Roma at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.

“As a Roman myself, it was very disappointing,” Ranieri continued. “All I can say is that it will serve them as experience to the city, the squad and [Coach Luciano] Spalletti.

“Now they must just forget what happened and look ahead.”

The fact that the Premiership has three clubs in the semi-finals hasn’t gone unnoticed by Ranieri, but he’s confident that Italian sides will strike back.

“It’s significant that three English teams are there,” he added. “Their football is full of money, but what goes around comes around.

“I think Italian clubs can return to a certain level and I’m optimistic. A few clubs are picking themselves up and we just need a little time.”

Doesn't werder bremen have b-win?

Because I don't see why we should get fined when Bremen also got b-win.

It's no worries really, we advanced over a German team into the semi finals, which means a LOT of millions from the CL again.

True. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Bremen have the "bwin" thing, but only for home matches. In their away clashes they play with a "we win" thing on the shirt.

At least it was in the beginning of the season.

On the Chelsea vs Liverfool; I think Liverfool can knock them out, if they play as compact as they did against Barcelona ... Chelsea wont be able to do anything by suffocate.

As for the final ... Chelsea or Liverpool wont be an easy bet ... But in one game ?? Seeing as we have lost a final so tragically, and nearlly all of our players have been through that night with the club ... Milan will conquer Athena till the 90th minute.

I'm hopeful for a rematch with the scousers, but this time it's revenge (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Mourinho will NOT let Loverfool through... he will bomb them if that's what it takes to stop them but they won't be in Athena (by the way, that's how it's called in Greek, I like it that you use it... But then I look at my keyboard and see that 'a' and 's' are next to each other (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ).

Mourinho all the way!! Beat the guy with the steamed up glasses!!!!!!!!!

The s is right next to the a ... well in my keyboard the s is next to the e, x, and y ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

Mourinho has basically forced his team to win in the CL this year, it doesn't matter who they play, they seem to get it just right to get the goals to go through. My pick to win it this year is Chelski. And I'd be surprised if they don't win it.

Chelski would be my pick too, then again Milan always manage to surprise me. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
