Finally a mention for the guy who is the future of our defence. Bonera  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif) Again what a class performance, he was practically a one man show dealing with Quagliarella and co.

(IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) He had a great game, and didn't deserve the yellow card.

QUOTE (I_Rossoneri @ Feb 25 2007, 10:38 PM)

You misunderstood me. What I meant was we were playing with only one striker, and that was Ronaldo. But seeing his weight, he sure isn't someone who can run all day like Gila or Pippo would do. He was there walking all the time. Sure, he helped a lot collecting balls from midfield and advancing forward, but his pace is still to improve. Ho he was just too slow. Like han mentioned in one post above, when Cafu was about to cross one moment, there was no one in the area. You didn't watch the match, but when Pippo entered the field, we began to play better because Samp's defenders understood there was no walking around anymore, and that Pippo is someone to mark straight if you don't wanna get caught by his sneaky intuition. And what's why everyone was marking Pippo on our goal, and completely forgot about Ambro, who scored. That's what I really meant.

QUOTE (han2503 @ Feb 25 2007, 09:41 PM)
We struggle becuase of the fact we where down to ten men, as I've previously said, R9 was forced to play really deep and at times we had no one in the box, we looked like Arsenal when they play Henry alone upfront.

Also Kaka and R9 where getting fouled everytime they had the ball.

Samp are a very organised side and we always find it hard against them, in fact we haven't been able to beat them for quite some time now.

As I said, the problem in this game was the ref, That was never a red for oddo, if we had stayed with 11 men for the entire match I'm pretty sure we would have scored earlier.

*

Is this a joke!!! You think we played like sh!t because of the ref? Are serious or stone man? This is b/s!!!!!!!

Carlo is the main reason of this mess, he didn't play to win but not to lose!
Just the fact that he played with Rino and Maxou is enough to struggle, especially when you have only one playmaker (Seedorf/Pirlo)!
We had no creativity and no occasions, we were playing as if we were in Genoa not in Milan (At least they were playing with 2 strikers!) and we won because the god of football were with us tonight!

another objective and considered post (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)
we played with rino and ambro because pirlo, gourcoff and seedorf had all been ill brocchi was suspended, seedorf was the only 1 to be considered fit enough to start and did fade in the 2nd half. sure samp played with 2 strikers but they aren't the quality of ronaldo or pippo and to be fair didn't really bother us and i don't think we played like s**t to be honest and we won because we kept working hard and had a slice of luck but we've had some bad luck so all in all things evened them selves out

Actually I wasn't talking about changing a midfielder with another midfielder at all!!!

Pippo/Gourcuff should have came in for Ambro/Gattuso at least to give us more strench up front!

If you think Quagliarella and Bonazzoli/Bazzani aren't quality to score against Bonera/Simic or they are not equal to the threat that R9/Pippo was against their defense, that's your problem! I think they did better!

Oh, and I agree we kept working very hard to keep the scoreless draw!

QUOTE
Berlusconi: 'Ronaldo eccellente. Il futuro di Dida? Ma parliamo del presente...'

22:59 del 25 febbraio ::: calciomercato.com

Silvio Berlusconi was at San Siro this evening to watch Milan conquer the 3 pts.

In the end:

"Ronaldo? Excellent match. 3 points that make us more confortable.
"I'm confident for the Champions League.
"Dida's future? Talk about the present...
