QUOTE (han2503 @ Jan 19 2007, 11:35 PM) (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Gila's position was different .. He wasnt a first team player until just 3 yrs ago .. He came into Parma's first team in late 2003 .. We all know what happened next Torres has been with Athletico for sometime now and has been the back bone of his team for some time now. I dont know .. Even if I try to explain it, I wont be able to show u my side of it, cuz it's just that Gila is an in-box player, while Torres is an all-round footballer. He can integrate with any team easily, cuz his talent is vast, while Gila .. He plays in one place and one place only plus other players have to sacrifice for him to score, they have to do all the work. Whilst in Torres's case, he moves the ball to create a goal oppertunity for himself or team-mates. Basically if Torres leaves Athletico Madrid, the team would fall hard on its back (kinda like what happened to us when S7 left), while when Gila left, Parma r still in Serie A (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

But I get what you mean. Different types of players, but still both are/where important to their respective teams

QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Jan 19 2007, 09:52 PM) Since he became our highest goalscorer in the CL and league .. When the team was so out of form Come on, you know what I mean! Aguero is the same striker type as Torres, so if Torres goes Altetico will still have a great striker, whereas since Oli is not scoring we don't have sheva's replacement!

Yeah but Aguero isn't exactly playing at Chelsea or Milan; where there is a strong squad available to support the attack. I get what u mean, believe me I do .. If Torres moves, Aguero wouldn't be the replacment for Torres as he has different charectoristics, he isn't a leader as Torres/Sheva are .. He is good, actually very talented, but just like Villa .. Maybe in time he'll turn into someone the club could lean on, but now .. I think it's too early (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Oliviera isn't Shevchenko's replacment .. He is a stand in. Sure the team depends on him, cuz he is filling in for Sheva, but he isn't exactly Sheva.

Ok, I get your point (IMG: http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) And about Oli, if he managed to score and be the same he used to in spain, I'm sure every one will see him as Sheva's replacement!
