QUOTE (Rossoneri7 @ Nov 18 2006, 09:28 PM)
No .. They simply didnt see them as perfect replacments. They are good .. But Milan didnt want them. That is the only reason I'm afraid.

Come on now, I agreed with you on everything else, but you know yourself that this isn't the truth.

Milan went for the big payoff, ionstead of asking for those players. Saying that Milan didn't want them is bull. Maybe they didn't buy them because of uncertainty of our position in both league and CL is understandable, but to say that milan didn't want them because they're not good enough is complete BS

there is no such thing as perfect replacement for sheva. so we our supposed plan is to talk about getting ronaldino for the next 3 years? and by the way drogba is currently the hottest striker in the world. this guy is better then media wants to admit.

it is not a matter of months pippo is in his 30s. he had that huge injury and missed out on the majority of 2 years. he came back and did well but thats just a good patch in form. u really think it's just a bad form for inzaghi. watch him play he isnt playing at milan level anymore.

So every player that is off form is finished by your thinking standards!!

So in a matter of months Pippo went from being our main man to the finished striker according to you!!

I believe I might have gone off with the whole theory, but in truth, there is no theory, cuz Milan never asked for them .. And Chelsea never offered them ..

The BIG pay-off ?! You mean Shevchenko @ 30yrs for 35M GBP, yeah that is a pay-off ..

In anycase, Chelsea wasnt in a position to sell .. They just wanted to improve on their team in certain areas .. And had it not been for Arsene to swap Gallas for Cole .. Gallas would still be an unhappy player within the Chelsea roster.

Yeah, but Milan didnt have a crystal ball to predict this season .. From last season ?! He wasnt worth it, hell nobody even wispered his name to move to Milan during the summer .. Apparently he found his forgotten touch on the ball.

THATS A GREAT PAYOFF at the expense of an entire season. they've probably lost 35M BGP from loss of ticket sales and merchandise.

The Sheva sale was either the stupidest or smartest move on Silvio's part.

Considering how we are fairing without him right now then you could say it was an idiotic move to make.

But also considering the ammount of moeny he went for (35M GBP, is approx. 60M € it's no joke) and the fact that he has entered his thirties ie the deciling stage, then I would say it was a smart move on our management's part.

Fact is, our mangement never asked for any of the Chelsea players to go in with the deal and we will never know their reasons. End of.

Ok so that is STRETCHING it BIG time. 35M GBP in merchandising and ticket sales???!! do you have any idea how much money Sheva went for?? It's A LOT!! Merchandising and ticket sales don't even compare to what they made from his sale, even if we are winning every game and every cup there is out there, they won't recoup that ammount of monet from ticket and merchandise sales, not even in 5 seasons!!

look this team's management continues to spit out lies. they said sheva was the one that wanted to leav. i think that was BS. they sold sheva fine. but that money should have been complety invested in the team. HELL we should have invested 60 GBP in the team this summer. considering we needed new players BEFORE we lost sheva.

S7 as much as I am a fan .. The minute he kissed that Chelsea shirt, I started hating him .. So I am in no position to stand against his move !

The price he was sold by, hell, I'd put 5 or 10 million on top and get myself Torres or R10 in his place; but unfortunately last summer wasnt a good one.

And ur right, we'll never know (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Sheva was the one that wanted to leave. Why the hell would they want to sell their top player???

And don't tell me it's just for money!!!

The why not Kaka while they where at it? Since that was the reason for Sheva's sale (the money) then I'm sure they wouldn't have had any problems with selling Kaka, he would have even made them more money

Seriouslly speaking bro ... And I hope u dont take this as an offence to u, cuz I respect everyone in here .. But I cant reply to anything relating to the past 'ESPECIALLY' last summer. It happned, everyone had their say, the season started, we are F@CKED. End of story, till January.

Please, dont take this as an attack towards u, just understand that it is a whirlpool .. Instead of talking about something new, we are engaging in the same sh!t over and over again in each thread that is opened.

This is Milan the one that lost 4 in a row, the one that tied today !!
