QUOTE (bigmacmtl @ Nov 5 2006, 05:57 PM)
who cares thats one game. what about de rossi in the same game? yet everyone would love him. and just to let you know the world cup is the highest level of football and few really perform, i found totti, del piero and toni were pretty average at the world cup. the fact is zaccardo performs VERY well in serie a thats why he was the starting RB for italy before the world cup started.
*

Allright..but...Zaccardo is a joke, his defensive skills are even lower than the one Å imić has when he plays on the RB. No, honestly, we should find a decent, offensive-wise, RB, cause with Gattuso on the right side, practically all the weight falls on the left. That has to be changed...

milan's cheapness has really come to bit them in the ***. by the way we've let go of players and thrown opportunities to get new ones away, our situation has been predictable. it hurts to say this considering we were ranked 3rd last year as the club with the highest revenues.

All I can still hope for is that Braida will come back from South America with Gago, Higuain and a bunch of defenders !! And since it seems like we're through the CL groups stage (which means we can get some so-needed money) I hope Silvio will take the biggest risk ever (by obviously putting Milan's future under threat and uncertainty) and pays Lolito a BIG, FAT 6m EUR for Oddo !!

Or maybe not ... It's too big a risk, huh ?? Yeah, you're right ... let's do it next season, or maybe even the season after that.

I myself will save some money and send it to Via Turati ... poor Silvio ... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

This does not make sense ... if we want a new RB then what do we need Zaccardo for ??

Unless you mean "We need a new RB ... oh and I heard they're looking for ball-boys, Zaccardo could be an option" !!

the scandal put a road block in us getting any good players last year. i think that if we had not been involved in the scandal than at least 90% of all the players that left juve would have come to milan instead.

besides that...i think i'm only going to watch CL matches from now on (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

well we all know oddo is a good option, but 7 million is too much considering we wont have anyone on the right side who can attack once cafu is gone. lol

This is definitely true but when it comes to the greatest players only ... I mean we only have one single 36 year old right back and we didn't even get Oddo who was begging us !!

Young, talented players who we could get for the future would have come easily !! Gourcuff anyone ?? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

ya i feel at ease now that we know the scudetto is over. we can focus everything on the coppa italia (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) and CL. and we can compare our situation to that of liverpool and arsenal when they both made the finals while sucking in the domestic league.

The refs do not cheated out of nothing. My opinion is that our team is playing so bad that we get stuck in ref's decisions ... this shouldn't be happening !!  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
*

I never blamed our loss on the ref, I know we played bad. But the fact that we are getting bad calls in practically every match can't be over looked, winning or losing, they are still happening. This call didn't cost us the match, neighter did the Gila goal against palermo or the goal disallowed against lazio, but they still happened for no reason. But when you look at games like the Livorno match and the Siena match where you know that the ref took the points away from you because he disallowed you a perfectly legit goal then I can't help but to blame them.

Today I am blaming the players for playing a sh!tty game but on other games I can't help but wonder that we cuould have won if not for a stupid ref call that has gone against us, especially when it keeps happening on a regular basis

ya i know thats why palermo are 2nd, and he has like 4 or 5 goals on the season. cuz we can only score own goals. i've seen palermo play, he's a big part of the team.

De Rossi is actually very talented and is a great player already, Zaccardo only played for some reason unknown to us except for the fact that Lippi is stubbern, instead of playing Oddo which is trice as good as Zaccordo while Zambrotta was injured, he went for the Palermo guy, that has no experiance what so ever and is nothing special at all not even a prospect for the future

I think we should open the 'Milan donation fund' especially since the club seems to be going through a tough time money wise, Silvio is not made of Billions people he can't help out the club that much financially (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Let's not compare what he does at Palermo to what he could be like at Milan. Facgt is Zaccardo is not good enough, not even for Roma.

And come on are we seriously crediting him for getting palermo in the top spot of the table? Why don't we look at the fact that everything has been messed up this season in serie A and everyone is taking advantage of it

If that is the case then why is carlo njot banging on Galliani or Don Slivio's door then?

thats it, if you are not part of the solution you are part of the problem. since carlo is paid to be part of the solution i would like to see him do his job. if he has to smack galliani in the face in public then do it. cuz i'm thinking of flying over to italy and doing it myself

Ask him!

Are we seriously going to blame this pathetic display by the players on the fact that Carlo started with Pippo and Gila????!!!

Carlo even PUBLICLY stated that he wanted a holding mid to the media, that is something that he RARELY does, and what did he get? Brocchi that's what!
