RVN and Trez get more involved. They are box strikers who sit out in front. but they have superior finishing, penetrating, and dribbling abilities.
True they put on the blinders and think finish but the times I have watched them they work better with the players around them than Gila does with Milan. They create goal scoring opportunities.
Now sure they aren't like Scheva or Henry, but they create. Kaka creates. Creative ability is the key to being a first class finisher and Gila creates nothing. He waits there with the probability that a ball will come to his feet or head and kick it in.
Odds are if you stand in front of the box and keeping getting feeds, you will get some chance to score.
How can you say that trez and RVN can dribble, penetrate and create chances for others?? Trez the most.
Have you seen last season's games where Gila played? I think he has as much assists to his name as Sheva from last season. Gila is a hard working box-striker, and a rare one at that, maybe you don't see it, because if you are basing this on just his performance against Anderlecht then you have every right to think this way cause I think he was more quite then usual, but his link-up play with both Oli and kaka is amazing, somthing that most box-strikers can't do, especially Trez

I guess its just post-Scheva blues. Its hard to watch Milan without a first class forward like Scheva. Im over it.
Gila has scored in 2 your right its a step in the right direction. But I generally address some of the articles in the press that glorify him like he's Scheva replacement. A title which he hasn't come even close to earning.
I think he doesn't work with our offense well. He's really stale out there. He can't dribble or penetrate in transitions.
I think it really puts the weight on Kaka and Seedorf. Gattuso and Pirlo are more defensive players and when your forwards can't play effective offense its like there all alone, Kaka on one end and Seedorf on the other, just running into a wall of players. Trying to create but having no one up top on the same page.
No one ever said that Gila is Sheva's replacement!! They aren't even the same type of player

Han
"yes, other then the 10 minute blackout where we allowed the goal, because our players thought it was a good idea to take a rest during the game because we had a 3-0 lead, I would say that we played a perfect match."
It kind of defines our problem in the past couple season doesn't it.
Well Istambul and La Corunia come to mind. That why I get nervous when we build up big leads, because I know that the players get lazy and decide to rest instead of keep playing the game.
