Milan reiterate Kaka-Ronnie dreamBy Graeme Bailey - Created on 2 Nov 2006 Milan are lauding their prized asset Kaka and their owner Silvio Berlusconi has reiterated his desire to link him up with Ronaldinho.
Kaka was the subject of summer speculation that he could be on his way to Real Madrid, however the Rossoneri resisted their overtures for the 24-year-old.
The Brazilian has produced some sparkling displays in recent weeks and he capped that with a hat-trick against Anderlecht on Wednesday.
"He is the strongest in the world," his boss Carlo Ancelotti said.
"There are lots of great players in circulation, but nobody is worth as much as him.
"Nobody has more determination or is capable of making such a difference in a match. He is better than Ronaldinho.
"With Kaka in this kind of form, I'm looking forward to seeing who they award the Golden Ball to."
Milan owner Berlusconi said he would more likely try for Ronaldinho, rather than contemplating letting Kaka leave.
"I won't exchange Ronaldinho with Kaka," Berlusconi said
"Anyway, should there be the possibility, we will try to sign him.
"Ronaldinho in any case would have to come to Milanello [Rossoneri's headquarter], have all the training sessions, engage himself and show to be a player for Milan."
Vice-president Adriano Galliani also paid tribute to former Milan star Leonardo - who he credits with tipping them off about Kaka - before they snapped him up from Sao Paulo.
"I thank him because he was decisive in that negotiation in summer 2003. Now Leonardo can also present me with a few wrong players and I'll forgive him. Kaka is a life's insurance", Galliani told.
The player himself was trying to avoid the press clamour about whether he would be landing the Ballon d'Or.
"Certainly, I would like to win it very much, but I can only do my duty, then hope that I'm rewarded for the results," Kaka said.
"For now, though, I want to play as well as I can for Milan and my national team.
"I don't feel that I've fulfilled my potential yet. There's always something I can improve on."
