We all saw this coming... We just closed our eyes in an attempt to make ourselves feel better after a disasterous transfer market... We all knew we were screwed after we lost Sobis and didn't buy Oddo... We all saw it coming... This even makes me more angry... After what the Milan management did to us during the transfer season and with all the scandel and all that $hit... We, us fans and the players really didn't deserve this... We deserve so much more... Our president/ owner is financially capable... very capable... And yet he fooled us all and let the best striker in the world slip through our hands as well... this is not acceptable... I am angry, but I am only speaking the truth... I will support Milan players and the coach... But the management can go to hell for they have done... And if the January transfer market is going to be another disappointment, then I don't know what I'm going to do.... Sick of the old squad we have... I love them all, but I'm sick of seeing us being disgraced... We are Milan... We don't deserve this and we certainly have every right to expect our management to buy top players for us... Sobis was the last player that we were strongly linked with before Ronaldo and then Oliveira and before we lost Sobis, we had already lost a bunch of other great strikers... After Sobis was gone too, we all knew that it was almost certainly over... I'm not focusing on Sobis... make sense...?

I said it a million times during the summer, that if we where going to get someone like Sobis or Oliveira, then it shouldn't be either/or, it should be both. We don't have any depth in our front line what-so-ever.

Apart from that, you pointed at the many strikers that slipped our grasps .. Do you think they slipped our grasps or that Milan had other things in mind .. I mean the papers could talk, the tabloids could blow things out of proportions .. I mean the ONLY players that were linked to us PLUS have been talked about by our managment were Ronaldo and Oliviera .. Thinking back, we got out of the minus zone with back to back wins; but ever since we got out of there .. Some games Milan played great some not so great, but the question is why cant we go to back to back wins as we did at the start ? With the same players and attackers ?

Well, the only reason I could come up with is that the opposition(s) (as u stated before), play a defensive game, ie 10-0-0 (or whatever it is they play) .. And I believe that is the case. Another factor is definatly that of the space that Shevchenko left when he left, Gilardino and Pippo were more relaxed as he was on the field, but now it seems as though the pressure has mounted on them and .. well what can I say about that; we will just have to hold our breath and hope that the best is yet to come from our players.

Definately right. But why aren't these team playing like this with Inter and Roma? Inter are supposed to be the team to beat since they are the "champions", why aren't they getting this type of special treatment also?

Beats me .. Inter's attack might be something to look at, but their defence is a mess !! IMO, if teams could pass Nesta & Kaladze, I dont see why they cant pass through Samuel, Materazzi, Cordoba, etc ..

One of our main problems at the moment is that we don't have any width; Cafu used to be an excellent outlet for us on the right plus we also had Sheva and Kaka with pace through the middle. Cafu is not playing anywhere near what he used to, Shev'a gone and our attack mainly goes through the centre with Kaka. Teams playing us know this and change their systems accordingly. Now if we could have bought a decent young RB a few years ago we would be laughing now - unfortunately we have to rely on 36yr old to play like he was in his 20's (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Yeah you're right, and let's not forget that we are missing Serginho also.

But you have to admit that goalkeepers and the opposing teams defence have been playing REMERKABLY for some reason when it's time to play against us.

Barzagli set for Juventus

Palermo defender Andrea Barzagli will move to Juventus at the end of the season, Rosanero sporting director Rino Foschi has suggested.

The Bianconeri have been linked with the 25-year-old for some time, with whispers claiming a switch almost occurred during the summer.

But Foschi has now revealed that the former Under-21 international is likely to complete a switch at the end of the current campaign.

“Barzagli is destined for Juve, it is very difficult to block a player like him,” said Foschi in an interview with La Gazzetta dello Sport on Wednesday.

“We bought him from Chievo in 2004 for £4.6m and we will earn £10m from his sale, so we can’t complain.

“We must also thank Nicolas Burdisso if Barzagli landed here, as he preferred to move to Inter when we already had an agreement with Boca Juniors.”

The Sicilian official also confirmed that his outfit are still interested in netting Chievo man Franco Semioli during the January transfer market.

“If Semioli will agree to a move then we will definitely be glad to welcome him,” added the former Venezia director.

“There is only one transfer operation that I would not repeat and that is sell Luca Toni to one of our direct competitors for that amount of money. President Maurizio Zamparini wanted to keep him but I didn’t listen.

“Amauri instead was a very good buy for us and I am happy that Carlos Dunga didn’t call him up for the Brazilian national team.

“This means he will not have to face stressful trips overseas and he may also be useful to Roberto Donadoni’s Nazionale, as his Italian passport will be ready in a month’s time.”

I'm not so sure ... Not that I care but it seems like he is trying to sell him ... if Milan want him, he'd choose to come cause of the Champions League ... and ofcourse the chance to play alongside Nesta and Maldini ...

If there will be any chance to sign him I hope we won't hesitate...
