Roma is a great soccer school, always having Totti's, Aquillani's, etc... probably the best in Italy and one of the top 5 in Europe.

West Ham (Joe Cole, Frank Lampard, Defoe, etc), Ajax, Sporting Lisbon (Futre, Figo, Simao Sabrosa, Quaresma, Nani, Moutinho, etc) and Auxerre are great schools too.

We've got some old players...but Inter is a one way track to end a career that once had a bright future (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I'm pretty sure Fabregas was a Arsenal youth system product... Barca signed him but they didn't believe in him, so he went back to Arsenal... Or did I just make this whole thing up... (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
Anyways... Fabregas and Torres are the best!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

No it was Barca's then Arsenal "stole" him ... juvenile's contracts are not binding ... but it was an unfair thing to do; it's like buying out a player contract's clause, it just never happens !!
QUOTE (LaPalma @ Oct 20 2006, 11:36 PM)
...AND in over 20 years for Milan he got only about 5 red cards! Not THAT'S a player!!!  (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devilsmiley.gif)

I thought he was never given a red card in his entire career !!? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

Refs rarelly give him a yellow card nowadays, just because he is Maldini (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) .. He is so perfect, so precise .. Common, he is untouchable, 4 red cards in his career is something to look up to. I heard that Gary Lineker never received even one yellow card during his career. It's amazing

I belive those where the uncomplicated "honeymoon days" of the strikers. No cards for taking shirts of for goal celebrations, they could still touch the ball after hitting the net, etc.

As for dst suggestion - I think De Rossi is very good, much better than any Wesley Sneijder, and Milan would be the next logicall step. I`m not so sure about that all of you say Aquilani and De Rossi are the next Totti, I fear (though in this case I would be glad) that such players will be a rarity (they are a rarity right now too (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) ) and maybe even disappear. Loyal players are just not the style these days (although the Calciopoli scandal actually proved some of them). But for both of those Roma youngsters I see a near future transfer...hope the destination is Milan (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) !
