I'm basing this from what I have seen so far from Gilardino in a Milan shirt. He didn't play in enough games? He played in both preliminary games and also frinedly games and 3 serie A games along with two CL league games.

Oh trust me, all the fans like him and have faith in him. What do you call support and vote of confidece? They are not booing him... In fact every time he leaves the pitch, there is a round of applause for him. Because he is a hard worker and a very likable person/ player. But that doesn't mean people are not worried about him. Plus, Milan always have faith in their players. That's how they bring out the best in them. So far Milan have shown Gila nothing but faith.

If you wanna talk about facts then how about Milan offering him a new contract ??? IMO it's a lame excuse to say that they did so because "they always have faith in their players" !! ... Faith is not enough for a new contract; or wasn't Nesta someone to have faith in all this time ??? Still his contract keeps him in Milan until 2008 ....

Lest we forget that sh*tchenko had a bad third(I think) season, in fact a lot of peple were saying that his time was up, yet he came back and was scoring regularly again. Gila's problem IMO is confidence and, hopefully, by being offered the new contract shows him that Milan have faith in him and can kick start his form. He is capable of scoring goals and we all know that, he just needs that little bit of confidence.

I'm getting tired of your silly responses... Stop being such a smart@ss.. No, that's not a fact. Him not scoring for Milan since the 18th of Feb is a fact. Him not scoring a single goal in over 13 CL games is a fact. Those are facts, worrying facts to say the least. He has to start making his impact by scoring important goals and rising up to the challange.

Yes I read the whole thing, and yes SOME of the points you made are facts, like him not scoring for Milan, but the other points are just your oppinion and again, that doesn't mean that they are fact, you have your oppinion about Gila, I have mine, and I'm sorry you can write all the paragraphs you want about him not scoring, but I'm not changing my mind about him



So, are you telling me that you didn't like see him going through his purple patch, when he nearly scored all his 17 goals in those few months?? It's normal for form to slip, and yes it's been longer then usual, and if you read Carlo's comments in yesterday's press conference he said that even Gila is worried about it, but his problem is him trying too hard to get that break-through goal again



I am not trying to come up with any excuses, it is a fact that he wasn't getting good service in that match, Gila is a box striker, the xmas tree formation should only be used if a player like Oliveira is going to play, someone who starts his plays from outside the box. All Gila had to rely on with that formation was crosses coming in from the flanks.
