QUOTE (X-Offender @ Sep 27 2006, 02:47 PM) Well my man, I guess you watched the match to realise how many chances they wasted. Milan players I mean. Not to mention Seedorf's disallowed goal, what do you call that? I think the score should have been 0-2, plain and fair. Out Seedorf and the only Gilardino's occasion. Milan got NO one. Inzaghi never got a good ball. Our defense was perfect. What about yours ? I felt like if Nesta was the only good defender you had. Keita, Tafforeau. Bodmer could have scored on a superb shoot but Dida was in a good day. The draw DOES reflect the match. At least you recognize that a player like Keita, who's able to beat ALL AC Milan's defense on his own, has something special. I do not agree ... we had clear chances (Kaka's too) while Lille only threatened our goalie from the outside of the box area. The only great chance you got was a header, which Dida saved ...

And Seedorf's perfect goal? Ok, 5-1. Milan are nothing compared to the powerhouse that Lille is. I mean this guy Keita>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Kaka. No no no, let me rephrase that, Keita >>>>>>>>>>>> Milan. I mean why did Lille even play with 11 players? It should have been Milan vs. Keita... And we all know how that would have turned out... Forza Lille! The number 1 team in the whole universe!!!!!

I know you must defend your team, but saying Milan didn't have many chances is idiotic. Gila had 2 shots (one header and the one he missed miserably), which both of them where 4-5 cm next to the post. Seedorf had 4 chances (one he scored, but somehow the linesman saw an inexisting offside. the other three were his slip in front of an empty goal, another he shot directly to Silva after a corner, and the last and unforgiven one was the ball Kakà gave to him and he kicked 4-5 meters from the post). Kakà had his very own chance and missed the goal, Jankulovski had one too, when Silva jut out erroneously. Even Inzaghi had one chance too in the very few minute he played. Sum 'em up, if they were a little more precise, the score would be something like 0-4. Lille instead had one very dangerous chance, the header dst was talking about. The others were shots from outside the box which Dida saved no problem. Seriously, if you think Milan didn't deserev to win, then you have some serious mental problems.

well, i finally got a chance to sit down and watch the game last night...and all though a 0-0 draw isn't what we hoped for, i'll take it.
player of the game was definately the lines judge. 2 offsides call on us that were terrible! refs should be fined for calls like that.
i've also never been a fan of the christmas tree formation. i would have started gila and pippo or gila and oliviera. this season, it's been the best formation for us.
oh well, we still got points and we're still starting off better than we did last year.
