Oh last season? I thought the reference was about our current best players. PS Jack till injury. By a country mile. His loss late January was another reason our season derailed.

Not for me. Too one-dimensional, too limited. Can't do a thing on his right foot, lacks pace, and can't beat a man. Gets marked out with utter ease. Also reverted to Selfish Suso for the final two or three months of the season.

At one point I bought totally into him, as you'll know, but as his limits became obvious, I realised we needed more.

I don't like the idea of him being part of this new Milan.

Well of course last season since that's his first full season with us as a starter

Jack was great but imo Suso was on par with him last season

Disagree totally about him being one dimensional. Also, he's made assists as well as scored 1 or 2 goals with his right foot last season. Yes he lacks pace but he has good dribbling technique and there were countless times he dribbled past opponents last season.

I agree that he lost his form in the last few months of the season but fatigue had set in and once Jack was out injured all the attention was turned to him and he was easier to mark out since he was our only point of reference in the attack. While in the first half of the season there was him and Jack on either side of the pitch making things happen so we weren't as predictable

Completely disagree, but let's move on.

Calhanoglu is official. I have great expectations for him.

I like the look of him a lot. But it's not quite official yet!

Well, I have to say that I have serious doubts. Çalhanoğlu's main strength is taking free kicks and set piece efficiency. Pretty much redundant with the characteristics we already gained with Rodriguez. Hopefully he'll overcome his moodiness he showed rather consistently with HSV and Wolfsburg.

I'm also beginning to have more serious doubts about Andre Silva. Yeah, the man can score against the likes of Andorra and New Zealand, but today he once again showed inefficiency with missing the penalty. I'm very unimpressed, then again, the Confed Cup isn't such a important tournament.

One player I really enjoyed watching was Leon Goretzka. Would be an amazing reinforcement.

You watch far more German football than I, describe him?

For me it is. If he can't stand out at that level, he's not good enough for the direction Milan hopes to go in. I'm genuinely staggered we've paid such significant money for a 21-year old who can't even score at a one in three level at a level lower than Serie A.

He has everything to do to win me over, and I suspect that will apply to most fans.
