Well, first and foremost, I don't think he'll be a Milan player next season, I think the damage that's been done is irreparable at this point and keeping him would be counter productive to the harmony within the squad.

I believe that all this talk in the media about keeping him is purposely being leaked by the Milan management so whoever is interested would come in with a good offer.

But if by some remote chance he does end up here next season, I think the club is within it's rights to do as they see fit with a player that is under contract with it. So if they think that leaving him among the first team would be detrimental to the dressing room, than it's the club's right to send him to train with the Primavera so he doesn't disrupt the rest of the group

Raiola is simply making a meal out of this. Whatever he says won't undo the damage that's been done to his client's image and I'm not just talking with Milan fans only. Most of the comments I've been reading on this situation tend to favour Milan. We gave him an opportunity of a lifetime and then were willing to make him one of the best paid keepers in the world and better paid than Buffon. He came out of this smelling like pure sh!t and Raiolo is just trying to turn the tables.

I think the press conference from Fassone stunned them tbh. I don't think they expected Milan to make such a bold move on this one.
