I'd gladly swap Donnarumma with James Rodriguez right now.

QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 16 2017, 04:28 PM) *
Nah, Jack's a better person than Donna. And a more mature one.

Agreed, but I think we should ask him and Abate to look for a different agent and completely cut ties with Raiola, the man is unethical and we should avoid associating ourselves with him.

Honestly, after what's happened and the tension that reportedly between him and F & M, I personally can't see how we could work with him again when it comes time to renew Bona's contract for example (thankfully he already renewed when Galliani was in charge and still kissing Raiola's @ss)

QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 16 2017, 04:29 PM) *
I keep wanting to say there's no chance, but then anything is possible in this crazy world.

Nah, no way we'd sign Ronaldo, it's either PSG or Man U IF he leaves Real (and that's big if, I personally can't see him leaving no matter what happens with his TAX issues)

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 16 2017, 06:03 PM) *
Looks like our new GK will be one between Neto and Perin.

Both are more than ok imo. Perin is better but very injury prone. But then again, you can look at it from another perspective since when he's injured it's a chance for us to see what Plizzari can do without putting so much pressure on him by making him the starter

QUOTE (Fillipo Simone @ Jun 16 2017, 09:05 PM) *
Bayern? You mean Bayer. Leno is very error prone.

How good is this Neto? If memory serves me, he was average at Fiorentina, yes? But on the other hand Montella coached him, so he's gotta know more about his abilities.

I'd go for Perin. Always liked the guy.

Leno would apparently cost much more than either Neto or Perin, and I don't think we'll spend too much on a keeper. We'll just bring in someone dependable who can do the job without too much fuss

QUOTE (amancik @ Jun 16 2017, 09:55 PM) *
I'm indifferent between Neto and Perin. For they are both decent goalkeepers. However, if Perin isn't so injury prone I would be more inclined to pick him. I just hope we can hammer out a deal for a goalkeeper very quickly so we can focus our efforts on signing the world-class midfielder we need.

Agreed. We still need to close out the Conti and Biglia deal as well.

QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 16 2017, 11:28 PM) *
I think he's better than Snake but that's just me.

Well if you look at them in terms of right now, yes, Perin is better, but in terms of potential, Donna has a much higher ceiling, not to mention that Perin has had to deal with long term injuries which stunted his growth

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Jun 17 2017, 01:42 AM) *
I would be happy with this exchange even if Snake was willing to renew with us.

Either way: According to #Corsera Donnarumma can cheer for Real Madrid from the stands, while watching Perin starting.

James is a bit of a pipe dream imo, because even if we can somehow convince Real to exchange him for Donna, his wages are currently out of our price range. Maybe if he'd settle for 7m per year

That being said, I wouldn't be surprised that Mendes is working to move 1 or 2 more of his clients to Milan, he generally likes to group his players at the same club (or so I read)

QUOTE (Danny @ Jun 17 2017, 02:27 AM) *
I'd take this quicker than you can say 'marquee signing'.

Absolute b*llocks the claim we don't want to sell.

The only reason they might be leaking this info to the media (most outlets are saying we're going to punish him by sending him to the stand for a year), is to get better offers for him. We'll see if it works.

But if they're really willing to throw away a potential 30m offer to punish him, it just goes to show the type of financial clout we have

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Fassone met Florentino Perez yesterday where apart from Donnarumma, they would have potentially discussed James Rodriguez.

Milan wants to make one 'star' signing and James is believed to be a target. However, the €80m asking price could mean Milan would resort to a loan option. Another big name being linked to Milan is PSG's Lucas Moura.

Mirabelli to Corriere dello Sport: "We are ready to discuss Ronaldo with Perez but not for €400m like Spanish papers are claiming"

Mirabelli to Corriere dello Sport: "We have direct orders from administration not to sell Donnarumma, he is priceless. Marotta wants him? He can come talk to me."

La Gazzetta dello Sport: Milan submitted an offer of €18m + Felicioli and Pessina for Andrea Conti. However, Atalanta are refusing to come down from their evaluation of €30m.

Corriere della Sera: Donnarumma has chosen Real Madrid and will reject any proposal from Juventus out of 'respect' for Milan.

L'EQUIPE: Milan are one of the sides interested in Lyon captain Maxime Gonalons, who could be available for just €5m.

Sacchi: "I think that the value of a person is fundamental to magnify his talent. I valued Donnarumma as a boy and as a player, but I was amazed by his lack of gratitude towards Milan. This decision makes me doubt not only about his human integrity but also about his future career. Remember that all those who privileged the money, like Kaka and Shevchenko, who left Milan for Real Madrid and Chelsea, regretted it bitterly."

James would be a stellar signing, but 80M for a player who's warmed the bench the entire season is way too much.

Obviously they've witnessed our spending power and are rising their asking price as much as possible, but no one in their right frame of mind would value Conti at 30M.

#IlGiornale: Donnarumma's case will end in court. Milan's decision to keep the goalkeeper in the stands is considered impractical by Raiola. If he remains, there would be 80,000 people every Sunday to denigrate him. Raiola is worried about the physical safety of Donnarumma and his family. He already notified Milan that he is going to take legal action, when he was at Casa Milan. Milan reacted immediately, Fassone contacted the law firm of Milan to report the account of a Donnarumma's relative, who offended Milan.

Actually I like how the management is handling this. They are making leverage on Dolla (by threating to leave him on the stands for a full year) dince the Snake left us with no leverage, so maybe they use it to get a good deal od even use him to exchange with James.

Have to agree, I don't like this. I don't want Donna to 'sit in the stands' - sorry guys, but it's not big and it's not clever. And it doesn't achieve a thing except lose us many millions.

And as much as he's a little t*rd, I don't want him to come to physical harm by angry fans. It would reflect dreadfully on the club.

I don't think he will stand in stands. We are just threating to make leverage. Read Mirabellis statement again, you will see.

#TuttoSport: Fassone and Mirabelli have decided to stop all the deals with Raiola. Mastour will not renew with Milan. Ely, Gabbia and Abate could also leave.

Milannews.it: Despite how the Donnarumma saga ended, Milan have no intention of letting go of Bonaventura and Abate, Raiola's other clients, as they are considered important to the squad.

Milan are also following Diego Alves (who has Italian passport), according to Repubblica. On the side, Sportmediaset are linking Milan with Sassuolo's Consigli.

#LaStampa: Silvio Berlusconi is furious with the new management of Milan. The former Milan president is very disappointed with the transfer market and also with the way they managed Donnarumma case. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Sacchi said it perfectly here

The snake is first and foremost ungrateful considering that he's only at this point because he was given a chance at Milan, we could have easily carried on with Lopez and he'd still be an unknown bench player now

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jun 17 2017, 10:13 AM) *
James would be a stellar signing, but 80M for a player who's warmed the bench the entire season is way too much.

Obviously they've witnessed our spending power and are rising their asking price as much as possible, but no one in their right frame of mind would value Conti at 30M.

80m for James would be ridiculous. I personally can't actually see us getting someone like him, he'll most likely end up at United

As for Conti, we don't know what's happening, the press keep on recycling the same old story. At the end of the day, I think he'll sign once he gets back from NT considering that his agent has made his intentions perfectly clear and went as far as to say that he won't join in Atalanta's training retreat

You're right, they're trying to extort us because we can pay up. But 20m is already more than fair, we should try adding Paletta to sweeten the deal, but we shouldn't add anymore money to our offer

QUOTE (d'Arc.LP @ Jun 17 2017, 10:24 AM) *

This is all BS imo. Milan can just say that not playing him is a technical decision by the coach. No one can force the coach to play a specific player. And he can just not come to the stadium

If we don't find a proper buyer this summer to offload his @ss we should just send him to the Primavera and not allow him to interact with the first team. Then he can buzz off next summer

But having said that, I think all this "send him to the stands" stuff if just a tactic so we can have a bit of leverage if Real or any other club do come calling. We can at least say if you don't offer X amount than we'll just keep him

Also, I think if things really come to a certain boiling point I think we should give Donna the ultimatum, either sign a renewal so we can sell you for good money or you're with the Primavera next season, and we'll see how he and his agent react to that

Either way, they don't have a leg to stand on if they do take this to court. He's under contract at Milan, thus the club has the prerogative to decide whether he plays or not or whether he'd be better with the Primavera as his presence in the dressing room with the other players would be an unsettling influence

Agree. We're just trying to regain some power in this situation. I think he'll ultimately be sold this summer

Anyway, this is Mirabelli's full interview with Corriere dello Sport's Xavier Jacobelli.

I am very sure Dolla has apready repented that he didn't sign the new contract.

I like Mirabelli, he seems quite professional.

This James stuff is really picking up steam, probably because Gazzetta reported it. Too bad they've been completely wrong on basically everything this summer when it comes to Milan
