QUOTE (amancik @ Sep 26 2006, 02:45 AM)
it's dumb for Zamparini to say that ... but I understand why he said that ... he probably realize that Palermo finally have a real chance of winning scudetto ... that's why he doesn't want to risk it ...

Even he is not that optimistic (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Then he is stupid cuz there is no chance for them to win the championship. They don't have the depth and the quality

that too ... and after all it will be another win of italian football over the english one ... it is important IMO; mostly because they will brag about progressing after losing at home for some years ... Inter Plan Buffon Raid In January
The Nerazzurri will offer Burdisso and Toldo in exchange for the Italian international.

According to reports coming from Italy, Inter are set to try and lure Gianluigi Buffon away from Juventus during the January transfer market.

Massimo Moratti’s club are ready to offer Argentinean defender Burdisso and Italian goalkeeper Francesco Toldo plus a sum of money for the services of the world cup champion.

Juventus and Buffon have made it clear that they will honour the contract tying both parties, but with so many champions leaving the Bianconeri, it is difficult to say if things will remain the same in January.

A cousin of Gigi's grandfather was a great Milan legend - a keeper too - Lorenzo Buffon. (1949-59)

I'll be very dissapointed if Inter got him, but I doubt. Simply because Juventus will be in Serie A next year. (They need the 6th place to go to the playoff...)
