QUOTE (han2503 @ Sep 24 2006, 12:51 PM)
1. Amelia, should be one of our top priorities after a defender for the next tranfer market.

2. Gila should play in the next match, wether if it's in Pippo's place or Oli's I don't really care, but we really miss what he contributes to the team when he doesn't play. I think Pippo should be rested in the Lille match and Oli in the Siena hame, the latter seems to be having trouble adjusting to the physicality of serie A, a good rest should fix that

1. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) Actually that what's I singed in to mention for ... he looked pretty solid. I know he was rarely tested but he eliminated both Oliveira's chances !!
2. I think Gila should play now in Oliveira's place and then, against Siena, Ricardo must play ... IMO what he lacks is games on his feet not fitness or whatever !!

Thanks (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

The 2 big problems in this match where

1. The players where complaincent.

2. And the fact that Livorno where playing a 10-0-0 formation should not be taken for granted. We were forced to keep shooting from outside the area, because the Livorno box was always crowded by 9 players. We had a lot of shots, the problem was that few where on target.

You know, I came here this morning, and before I logged on I knew what was going to be said, especially by some (cough:: Portugal ::cough). But come on it was just a draw, we NEVER usually start the season this strongly, by now we would have already gathered a loos and a draw. So don't worry, there are over a 100 points to get, stumbles like this one are bound to happen, especially until the team steps into high gear

You know what they say, Great minds think alike (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Yeah and both the Oli chances that he managed to eliminate where mostly because of good positioning (in the first chance, tooo bad favalli ruined the follow up) and good timing (he came out just perfectly to take the ball off of Oli's feet, if the timing was wrong by half a second that could have been a penalty for us)

And I don't really care particularily on how our forward line should be, but Gila always brings something extra to the table, wether it's an assist or a goal, he is definately needed, especially if the Pippo misses are signs that his form might be slipping (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Yes but I also said that about the game against Ascoli. Any way the CL match should be telling to see if it's form or he just had 2 bad games

Galliani satisfied despite draw

AC Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani was happy with his side's 0-0 draw against Livorno despite the loss of the club's 100% record.
The San Siro giants had started the season with three wins from three matches and turned their eight-point penalty at the start of the campaign into a positive number.

The club's players and officials had made it clear that they felt it was still possible to challenge for the Scudetto and a Champions League place, despite the numerical disadvantage for their part in the match-fixing scandal, and most in the game would have fancied them to take all three points from Livorno.
Despite the stalemate, Galliano was happy with the result, and felt his players may have suffered from tiredness during the 90 minutes.
"This was a draw on a difficult pitch," he said. "Livorno did well tactically, has great physical force and run a lot.

Criticism is apart of the process. If they don't do well people should talk about.

They are a different squad with the new additions plus no Scheva which has affected our attack.

When they don't do well people get frustrated and write about it. Nobody would believe they are going to fall off, especially with starting the season 2-0-1.

The real problem was that the match was Ancelotti experimenting with the new formations. Ambrosini and Gattuso in the middle was very defensive move. Neither is overly dangerous in attack.

The outside defenders were playing back instead of going forward down the flanks. It all put alot of pressure on our forwards, Seedorf, and Kaka to do everything.

It wasn't a bad game just a very defensive/conservative one and the offense wasn't clicking.

lol, I just realized...
Sheva>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Oli

And I'm not judging him just based in this game. He is inconsistent and that for a forward playing for Milan = A BIG NO NO!
*

Oh, yeah in fact you are judging based on two or three matches. Just that...and when you speak of inconsistent players I allways get a picture of Gilardino!!!

And for Christ, stop that comparation with Sheva! Just stop it! We all knew Sheva is better, and period. Why dont compare them with Van Basten, Weah, Simone, or every f@cking striker that we had!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Gila is inconsistent too? Well that even makes it worst... If Oilveira is a flop, then we are screwd. I'm going to watch him more for sure. But I am worried too. (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

How can you already be making judgments about a player after only 3 games, and may I remind you that only ONE of the 3 was a bad game by Oli

Gila on the other hand does go through a bit of dry spells but when he gets on a role expect him to bang in 2 per game
