On the bright side, that's probably the most creative midfield we can play. Surely De Jong instead of Kucka would be the obvious choice, though.

Is he that important really?

Their best defender according to the Inter fans I know, quick as well so he'd be important if Bacca manages to get though to run at people.

I think that's a suicide midfield right there. Add the shaky CB pairing and I'm getting worried. De Jong should be playing such an important match, especially because he needs to try and cover Jovetic when he drifts centrally.

I just don't think it's a good mix of players, even if you are correct and it's probably the most creative combo we have

I agree. Very strange from Mihajlovic to experiment by dropping De Jong in such an important game. If he wants to play Montolivo, it should be alongside him. I also don't get the sudden infatuation with Kucka. He's the only one who's had a certain spot from the get-go for this match considering Bertolacci's injury.

Also considering that Miha didn't even want him...

Don't know, I'm thinking (or at least hoping) that De Jong won't be dropped here. We seriously can't afford to go all gung ho in this one of all matches to experiment in, this is certainly not it

Yep, huge risk

Especially with Monto not having played a competitive match since February (!!)
