I was a Pirlo fan. It's still nice to watch him, the guy is a genius, but I'm not a fan. I can't feel for him, nor do I have the urge to support him as an individual. He has lost all respect I had for him.

I wouldn't say he's a prick, he just has no alliances.

True. And he's a prick. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/angry.gif) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/realmad.gif) Or, at least, a douche!

Pirlo has every right to begrudge Milan if he were to do so , we let him go when we really should not have he knew it before we did and how hasnt he showed us what we have been missing until recently...

All the free kicks hes been scoring for juve recently has hurt every time because he could have been scoring them for us.

Pirlo had been awful for about 3 years, Milan had no reason to keep him. History suggested either 1) he was finished or 2) he didn't care about playing for us. Either way, he had to go.

Why restarting an ancient debate? No point, everyone was at fault, but what Pirlo did while with made his sale a must. Even if he was tent times better then actually, his behavior was beyond unacceptable.

Yup. I hated him till I read that book.

He's the kind of guy who would probably give Rino his kidney without a thought. But if a bunch of us held a banner outside saying "Do it for Milan", he'd smirk and walk off.

I think he will make a good coach for two reasons:

1. His way of thinking is quite tactical. He looks for space, finds gaps. Basically a tactical mind married with his already high technical capability. In other words, I believe he can be that rare breed of coach who is both tactical and can set up his teams to play technical quality football.

2. His lack of allegiance to causes or clubs but to players, might make him a good manager while having the sort of bloody mindedness to move from club to club making a career for himself without any scars.

But of course, he clearly seems to indicate he has no interest in coaching. Perhaps he doesn't have the patience or appetite for pressure.

Well regarding pressure there is that famous quote,

"I don't give a toss about pressure. I played Playstation all day and then went and won a world cup"
