Come on...Germany won half a dozen titles playing defensive football...I'm not ashamed that we won the EURO 1996, neither am I because we made it to the WC final in 2002...

No...I'm not "on beer" and not "again" (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Honestly, the football Germany played in the WC 2002 sucked, and everyone here knows that. If it wasn't for Ballack even the US could have stopped us...
And in 1996 we were also lucky to have such a great defense, but the football we played at that time was really good.
Besides I always say Germany played great football in the WC 1990 (great great Klinsman), but after that it wasn't the same...until last WC.

People here are mostly obsessed with foreign leagues and clubs, generally English and Italian teams and some German fans who like Bayern (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/puke.gif)
...
There are also a lot of Merda and Gobbi fans, not to mention the ones that support the English teams.
*

Here in Portugal, everybody loves the English League (people in general)... god, every Saturday and Sunday everybody goes to cafes to scream out loud some Chelsea goals... it's like 50% fans like Chelsea (Mourinho... etc), 20% ManUtd, 20% Liverpool, 10% Arsenal. That'll be it.

Then, there are some 'ultra' guys, people who go to Curva Nord/Sud to support, etc of each clubs. That guys love the italian clubs, obviously. There was a stat in some other forum saying that Inter/Fiorentina are the Sporting's Lisbon fans choice. Lazio usually FCPorto's, and Benfica's fans go for Roma/Milan. Don't know why or if it's true.

The spanish soccer... it's more a Barça/Real fight. Some people like Real, other Barça... but no big talks about them. At the moment, the English Soccer is rocking in Portugal.

it was not lame; it was defensive ... after all this is all those footballers are able to play and they did it ... if we played attackingly we wouldn't have stood a chance.

Ofcourse the way the hellenic national basketball team wins is far more beautiful and desirable but at the end of the day I'm not going to abnegate that trophy because noone was smart enough to beat us in our silly little game!!!!

I guess you defended my team in the first place though (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

And do you know why mediaset aren't showing any matches like they used to? what happened. Rai are only showing ONE match from all those, at least Mediaset used to broascast 2, 1 on tuesday and 1 on wednesday

Mediaset will show all the CL matches on their cable console MEDIASET PREMIUM. So I guess RAI will show 1-2 matches per week, like Italia 1 or Canale 5 used to do the past years.

Just like over here, we're divided in 3, 45% Italian club fan (Milan, Inter, Juve fans and a few Roma and Lazio) 45% English club fans (Man. U, Liverpool, Arsenal and Chelsea), and the other 10% support either Barca, Real or Bayern. (And the ones that support Barca are only in it for the Ronaldinho factor)

Yeah I saw the commercials for mediaset Premium, but they always used to show them on both, maybe Rai beat them to the TV rights? Or Berlu is getting a bit cheap this year.

And Rai are only going to show 1 game this week, thank god it's the Milan match, at least mediaset used to broadcast 2. I hope that it's just this week that they chose only 1, or I really might have to get the sports package on cable

Well, here it's like 95% of the people support german clubs. In Northrein-Westfalia were I live the vast majority supports Schalke and Dortmund. In the entire country Bayern (sadly) has the most fans followed by Schalke, Dortmund and Hamburg.
The people that support a foreign club most of the time are damn Barca fans (the Ronnie factor...)

Let's see what these 'Barca fans' do when Silvio manages to bring Ronnie over to Milan.

YESSS Inter lost, definately a good day.

Chelsea won (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) but the ES didn't do anythin, he only had 1 shot in the whole game and that was from a free-kick which he shot straight at the keeper. What the heel happened to him??

Very happy for Roma.

And Barca scoring that much goals was totally expected
