this is Serie B man ... it don't belong here!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

Only Barcelona, Real Madrid, ManUtd, Chelsea can compete with them if you look at the entire-squad quality.
*

Real Madrid and Inter are really the best in Europe!?!? ... are you comparing the rosters or the teams!!??? cause they are two entirely different factors ... both have great rostrers but with those teams of them they're going nowhere ... Inter will (if) only win the Scudetto because of the handicap!!!!

QUOTE (han2503 @ Sep 9 2006, 11:43 PM)
he is not of Milan class.

how come ...

QUOTE (Portugal @ Sep 10 2006, 01:32 AM)
There's only 1 way to Inter lose points: Vieira injuried for long time.
*

Vieira started good with Giuve last year too but he had a crap season overall!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) The only way this is going to work for Merda is because the multiplication oh his bad luck and Inter's (both negative) come out as positive ... but then again I hope those bad lucks just be added and they go down even more!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

QUOTE (Portugal @ Sep 10 2006, 03:10 AM)
A little bit. I'm Milanisti, and we have always faith on our team, but I'm just being realistic.
@LaPalma: Against us, I'm gonna scream even louder.
*

I don't really like that celebration thing you "adopted" but at the same time I don't have a problem with it ... It'll just make Milan's win sweeter at the end of the day!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

BUT if by any chance Ibra scores against us and you're next to me doing yer thing ... I'm sorry man but I'm really gonna smack you right in the face!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

This is all crap you two have been going on with ...

I wasn't referring to quality. Because everyone can see that he is a very talented player.

To put it simply he is just way too arrogant and self obsessed to worry about the team he plays for and he doesn't really have any class, both on and off the pitch.

Oh and you're totally right on the whole Viera thing, I'll give him till xmas until he starts fading away

arrogant!!??? how did you found out??? (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)
From what I've seen ... he's everything but arrogant!!! still ... you know I've said before that I'm not so sure about him succeeding in Serie A and that's just a bias on his nationality ...

oops yes I thought we were talking about Torres (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) ... On the Ibra matter I suppose you're right but still ... I'd give him a chance. However Milan didn't, period!!!

Maybe Nesta (who has had two big fights with him in the past) even complained about him ... as long as Alessandro's happy I am too!!!!! (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/king.gif)

Exactly, Alessandro is twice as important as Ibra would have been for us, and in any case looks like we made the right decision with our newly signed Brazilian.

And I'm definately glad we didn't get Zlatan. No matter how many he scores and sets up for inter. (i'm sure he won't score that much. I'll try and catch the Inter CL match, he's gonna play, and I wanna see how he does, last time I saw him (against Werder Bremen) ho got caught off-side like a million times.

And btw dst, how did Torres come into your mind during this conversation? I don't even remember if he even got mentioned (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Inter-Sampdoria ; tomorrow - Saturday at 19:30 (IT).

After losing in CL, I do not believe Inter will give any chance to Samp. But... you never know.

Who knows? I think their moral is down, Moratti has just publicly blasted the players, and they have just lost to a team that they (on paper) should have disposed of quickly. This is turning out to be a repeat of last season for Inter (IMG:http://cyrus.medialayer.net/~m1ke/milanfan.com/forums/style_emoticons/default/devil.gif)

Mancini drops Adriano

Friday 15 September, 2006

Roberto Mancini has hinted that Adriano will be benched again for Saturday’s clash with Sampdoria following Inter’s loss in Lisbon.

The tactician had suggested that Hernan Crespo and Zlatan Ibrahimovic forge a more reliable partnership and it looks as if L’Imperatore will be dropped for the second consecutive Serie A tie.

“I think this is the best possible solution, seeing the physical condition of all my players,” said the former Lazio and Sampdoria man.

“As for Adriano, I do for him exactly what I do for all the other players in my side. I am trying to help him return to top form as soon as possible. I don’t think it’s fair to say that he is the only one responsible for the Lisbon defeat.”

Adriano was again disappointing in Portugal and was replaced by Hernan Crespo in the closing stages of that 1-0 loss.

The Brazilian hasn't scored a Serie A goal for the Nerazzurri since their last meeting with Sampdoria on March 11.

“We have a match every three days and we are therefore forced to change something every time, to give all players a chance to rest.”

The Nerazzurri suffered a surprise defeat away to Sporting Lisbon in their Champions League debut and were strongly criticised by President Massimo Moratti, who said the team had “no excuses” for the loss.

“We are over the Lisbon defeat. We didn't play a great game, but we shouldn’t have lost,” said Mancio.

“We didn't do much to win and were probably still tired after the game in Florence. We have five more matches in this phase and I am sure we can still qualify,” added the Coach.

Mancini does not intend to review his tactics for the match with Sampdoria and confirms that he always fields a 4-4-2 formation.

“We always play that way, the men are always the same. Most of the times we play with a four-man midfield line, but we sometimes use a diamond formation to give players like Luis Figo the chance to better express themselves.”

Mancini keen to make amends

Inter Milan boss Roberto Mancini wants his team to bounce straight back this weekend following their midweek Champions League defeat.
Hopes were high that Inter might challenge for both the Scudetto and the Champions League this campaign but they tasted defeat at the first time of asking in Europe this week, with a 1-0 reverse at Sporting Lisbon.

Club president Massimo Moratti has already expressed his displeasure at the midweek result and heaped pressure on the manager, who many thought might be shown the door at the end of last season.
Mancini entertains his old side Sampdoria at the weekend and is desperate for a victory to settle the nerves at the San Siro.
Despite having happy memories at his time with the Genoa side Mancini wants all three points on Saturday evening.
