Whichever works, although it'd be a waste to not utilise SES and forego a chance to actually play with width

But you were so against El Shaa on the wing last season. And we both agreed on that.

I think 4-3-2-1 is perfect for us, because it gives more balance to the team (something we really need right now), and it allows Kaká and Honda to focus more on the attacking spectre of the game. Plus I'd rather see Poli than El Shaa on the pitch.

I don't like SES on the wing, I think he'd be a lot better much closer to goal, but I don't agree that he should be left out, it would be such a waste

I don't know if he came after you wielding an axe during the summer or what (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) but I think your dislike for SES is completely unfounded

(IMG:style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) I thought I read something about it, guess I'm confusing him with someone else...

No you are correct it was him. He has had niggling problems with his knee in the past and most notably in summer of 2010 when he was out with ruptured cruciate ligament in his left knee which kept him out for around 6 months.

That explains the sit-down protest some Brazilian players did the other weekend then. How can a recently turned 24 year old have played 350+ games whilst also having a 6 month injury? Ridiculous.

I don't dislike SES. I just think he's overrated. Three good months cannot make up for an entire year behind the shadows. You could say that in the last few months he's been injured, but what about his shambolic form from January till June? He was always available, always played, and always sucked, scoring just one miserable goal. And yet he's elevated by fans as some sort of child prodigy. Meh...

You don't like the fact that he's got sponsorship deals, you think that he's a slacker in training, you've listed him in your "troublemaker" list. I don't think I need to be graduated in psychology to see that you don't like the guy (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I think he could be a great striker. He's got the pace, the positioning, the awareness and finishing to be one. Yes he hit a major stumbling block last season with his form, and that was down to a system where our attack was isolated and had zero service from midfield while SES was stuck wide on the wing.

But in a system where you have Monto in midfield and Kaka and Honda next to you it's bound to be a very different scenario, and the potential in playing that 4-2-3-1 is immense, especially if Balo and SES do in fact get their acts together and get back into form, and especially if Honda clicks immediately with the rest of the team. Of course Allegri's tactics will have a say in how we play, but it helps to have smart players who know what to do with the ball, and Honda, Monto and Kaka would be crucial in that respect, last season we only had one of them and SES still managed to be our top scorer

I just wouldn't discount him or his future potential just yet.

Everyone has sponsorship deals. I don't think he's a slacker in training cos I don't have evidence of what happens in training. And I listed him in my "troublemaker" list like I did with 7-8 other players, including players I admire like Mexes and De Jong. Please, stop colouring me as this El Shaa hater. Being critical towards someone for certain reasons doesn't mean hating them.

But playing 4-2-3-1 would mean sacrificing Poli, and personally I have more high hopes for Poli than El Shaarawy.

They are pretty much of the same mold.

The addition of a CB and AM will help in the depth of the squad, but I doubt the quality will be raised (as what happened with Kaka). Then again, I doubted the impact Kaka would make, thought he was done for.

We need another Kaka, the same fire to rely on for the defensive department, IMO that is what we crucially need

So, rumours saying that Seedorf wants Pirlo back for next season. His contract expires next June.

Wait, what? Seedorf wants to return to Milan as a coach and he wants Pirlo to return to play for Milan again, is that it?
