Well he's tone deaf but it doesn't mean he doesn't care just because he did that for ****'s sake!

Corinthians has one of the two largest fanbases in Brazil (the other one being Flamengo). A fair section of their fans are thugs, sorta like their version of curva sud. They usually don't tolerate lack of commitment.

Corinthians' ultra fans are threatening their club to sell Pato, now. Apparently they didn't forgive to him the shameful penalty kick against Gremio, which kicked Corinthians out of the Copa do Brasil semi-finals, and furthermore they don't appreciate his extravagant lifestyle. In a recent interview, Pato said that he's very attracted to designer clothes, sports cars and expensive watches, declarations which enraged the fans. One of the phrases they sprayed on the club's offices was "You go to too many parties, the peace is over".

How can a striker be so bad at penalties? I only remember him taking 2 for Milan and missed them both.

Well well, now...

Pato elected worst player of the year (Pereba) in Brazil by Goal.com

Comment #1: "Nobody deserves to be called Pereba, but Pato has shown to be disinterested, arrogant and a has-been at 24"
Comment #2: "The worst investment of the year in Brazil"
Comment #3: "Like Uncle Ben in Spider-Man used to say: from great power come great responsibilities. Failure"

So glad we sold him.

Glad we sold him, sorry that we failed to take care of him. imagine if Man U and SAF had snatched him at 17 not us... he has to stat from scratch and if he doesn't, won't be a big deal, Brazil has had lots of wasted talents like Pato.

Not selling him to PSG for €35 million becomes a greater mistake as time passes by. I called this sh*t! Not doing the Tevez-Pato "swap" was one the most asinine things ever done by Silvio, yet people were actually happy that we kept the "talent" Pato and didn't sign the "rotten apple" Tevez. Right...

He's not interested in Brazil because it's a step down from Italy. He's gone back to one of the poorest nations on Earth with its backwater league.

He did have talent but sadly succumbed to the glamour of the football superstar lifestyle. Doesn't have the Beckham savvy to get away with it though.

Exactly. Most people blame it on his injuries, which is comprehensible, but the guy's behaviour outside the pitch wasn't exactly impeccable. First getting married at 18 only to file for divorce a year later, then dating the president's daughter, not to mention his going to parties and events even while he was injured. Personally, I believe that someone with a huge desire and motivation would have been able to pull through. Pato just wasn't strong-willed enough. Like you perfectly put it, he succumbed to the glamour of the football superstar lifestyle.

So, now that we have SES entering basically the same cycles Pato did, I'm interested to know. How many injuries did he have with Corinthians so far?

Too lazy when it comes to dealing with MF control panel (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I'd been wanting to do it for a year now if I'm honest. I'll gt that sorted out.

I would say one or two injuries.
