QUOTE (Danny @ Dec 30 2012, 12:52 PM) Who said anything about doing it on your own?
This conversation is proving quite tricky because I have perpetuated several concepts yet you have managed to misread a lot of them!
I said that the WHOLE forum should discuss and agree on compiled rules - which we ALL contribute - and then one mod pastes them into the rules.
The currents are out of date, and as far as I am concerned this board is unique in that there are plenty 'normal' users who have just as much right to suggest laws and conduct as those in 'power' do. Not every other forum has that sort of parity among users.
Right, I am putting this to a poll suggestion and I'd really appreciate it if you'd oblige and start a poll based on it:
Please go into the poll section and start the following polls (I'd do it myself but naturally lack the privilege):
Poll 1: 'Do you feel the current rules should be amended to reflect the board as it stands today?'
Yes No
Poll 2: 'If yes, should all members and staff contribute and create a unified rule set which we all agree on or should it be left purely to staff to make the alterations they see fit?'
All staff and members work together Leave it to the staff
Would appreciate these polls being set up. Well you weren't the one that suggested the discussion thread, you were asking me about the rules and if I can edit them or not, which is why I told you that even if I do have that ability, I'm not going to just do that on my own. And even max didn't really say that it should be a thread about rules per se I think the polls are a good idea, I'll open them a bit later as I have to head out soon

QUOTE Alexandre Pato has said goodbye after agreeing a move to Corinthians. “I am going to Brazil to play consistently, but it won’t be easy to forget Milan.”
This evening both clubs released statements confirming a €15m transfer has been agreed pending a medical and he will sign a four-year contract.
Instead of a signing-on fee, Pato has secured 40 per cent of any future sale.
“I wish to salute, but above all to thank, everyone,” wrote Pato in an open letter on the Milan website.
“From the President to the many people I worked with in these unforgettable years at Milan.
“I am going to Brazil, to Corinthians, so I’ll have the opportunity to play consistently. It won’t, however, be easy to forget Milan.
“I am and always will be very tied to this jersey, the club colours and all the Rossoneri fans. Above all at this moment my thoughts and my biggest thanks go to them.”
Pato arrived at San Siro as a 17-year-old, but at the age of 23 his career has been blighted by a series of muscular injuries. Very sad. Wish him all the best, hope some day he'll overcome the injury bug.

Abbiati, Ambrosini, Flamini and Bonera remain the only players to have played with Maldini.

QUOTE (acid911 @ Jan 4 2013, 02:41 AM) Three of them are probably gone in the next few months. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Bonera I want gone. Yep. I only see Ambrosini or/and Abbiati staying maybe next year.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 4 2013, 03:16 AM) Abbiati will surely be let go, as his contract also ends. Don't know about Ambro, but I'd keep him, only as a symbol of the old Milan. We'll see. I'd also keep Ambrosini, and sign maybe Consigli from Atalanta. QUOTE (Zed.D @ Jan 4 2013, 10:55 AM) He doesn't mention anything about promising to come back. I guess the old man was being his politician self when he said that. Again, we'll see. Who knows what kind of clauses these contracts hide?
