Team GB 'big'? Damn, we've done well in our collective 2 game modern history (1 L, 1 D - 1 of which was a friendly) (IMG:style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

No team has more gold medals in mens Olympics football than us though. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Amazingly Brazil never have won gold.

Yeah, though when we won those dinosaurs were still roaming the earth.

FT 3-1. GB need a draw against Uruguay to go through. It's not the winning that matters through, it's kicking Suarez' teeth out.

It's relatively big compared to the likes of UAE and Gabon. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

Got tickets for the GB women's team against Canada in the football QFs for Friday.

Finally gave in and bought the shirt too, too lovely not to.

Told you were better.. Right now it's between GB and Brazil, with the latter as favorites.

Are all those teams better than Spain then? That's not how football, or sports in general, work.

Successful tournement for us now whatever happens. Now way should a pretty much B team who've never really played with each other go this far. A medal would be amazing. South Korea in the QFs I think.

No, but you were one of the favorites from the get go, it's not like many other teams brought world class players. There are always surprises but GB getting far is not in any way shocking IMO. It's a pretty weak tournament overall.
