QUOTE Mathieu Flamini launched a broadside at Milan boss Massimiliano Allegri. “I am fit, so if I don’t play it’s because the Coach hasn’t picked me.”
The former Arsenal star was out for six months after snapping his cruciate knee ligament in August, but rarely features.
“I am fit, so if I don’t play it’s because the Coach hasn’t picked me,” Flamini told the Corriere della Sera.
“I’ve been training regularly with my teammates for a month and there is no fitness problem. I want people to know I am not wrecked.
“I accept it if the Coach decides not to use me, but I repeat, I am not playing and I don’t know why. Has Allegri explained things to me? No, I don’t like talking.”

The situation is insane. I don't rate Flamini much, but this sure isn't the right way to treat anyone, especially when you have players like Muntari playing over and over again.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 2 2012, 02:05 PM) He hasn't played a single game this season, is it really the right time to play him given our hopes of winning the title is hanging by a thread?
I mean, in his best shape the guy wasn't really reliable (especially his reckless fouls), what does he expect now? Yes, playing Gattuso makes much more sense. And btw., Flamini has recovered for some time. He was available for crisis matches like Chievo, where we played Rino and the young De Sciglio.

QUOTE (Zed.D @ May 2 2012, 12:16 PM) He said he's been training for a month. you could argue that right now he's fit, but 2 or 3 weeks ago after months of rehabilitation?
And Gattuso really isn't playing that much. when did he start a game before last game? Chievo

And Gattuso really isn't playing that much. when did he start a game before last game? Against Chievo, exactly after months of rehabilitation. So that should nullify your counterargument.
