As for Pato, something's seriously wrong with him. he looks beyond clumsy. he's just come back from injury and I'm hoping he won't get another time for a while to see if he will improve after training and playing more games. he should... I don't want to sound like an optimistic fanboy, but I refuse to believe he's suddenly lost every footballing abilities he had. it's got to be the pressure of injuries and rehabilitation.

Juve had started to put pressure on us when Max made that sub. obviously to give us more defensive depth.

It's funny. once Max was constantly attacked for using Urby AT ALL, now he's being attacked for subbing his favorite player. a player none of you ever believee was worthy of all the Max's trust and the minutes he got.

And I think they both had 90 minutes in them. Fact of the matter is that we already had a very defensive midfield in the starting line-up. Subbing the only player that gave us depth and a upper hand in counterattacking and ball possession for a depleted, brainless player that lost the ball every time he touched is Serie B stuff.

4DMs? I don't think you can call Nocerino who was constantly involved in our attacks a DEFENSIVE midfielder.

Defensive depth? Come on! This was Milan on San Siro, and we practically invited Juventus to come over, take the ball and attack in waves. We defended too deep and the only thing that made it bearable was the counter-attacks via Emanuelson, Robinho and El Shaarawy. But then Allegri had to tamper with that, add more "stability" with Ambrosini on the left, and that destroyed any chance of Milan actually being creative. El Sha went out shut down, Robinho lost between midfield and defense.

He's no Aquilani and he's no Boateng. He was raised as a DM, and doesn't have the skills to be labeled an offensive midfielder. fair enough... imo he made the right decision and yea the midfield was defensive but unfortunately there was no one else availbel at all i think boateng, seedorf aquaman had we had one of them available it would have been quite a different outcome...

Ditto. As I said earlier, the moment Emanuelson was subbed, Juventus increased their pressure, and we lost the only weapon that could have seriously knocked them down: counterattacks. Not to mention Urby's presence was fundamental in our ball possession. He was practically the one most involved in our game. Very poor stuff from Allegri.

What do you mean "label"? this is not PES or FIFA, this is real world and everything is relative. yes Noce lacks the qualities a real AM has, but that doesn't mean he can't be employed in that position and do a fairly OK job at it. Nocerino was not a defensive midfielder tonight.

What are you even talking about? FIFA? PES? I'm saying that Nocerino is a defensive midfielder. He is better at defending, closing spaces, pressing the opponent and everything else a defensive midfielder does than attacking. The fact that he often participates in our attacking manoeuvre and scores some goals doesn't make him an attacking minded player. Sheesh...
