Hope one of those teams will be our 1/4 contestant. Preferably Rui's Benfica.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Feb 15 2012, 07:08 PM) Let's not get too cocky. After the La Coruña debacle, such statements are forbidden. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) Agreed QUOTE (arivanjj @ Feb 15 2012, 07:13 PM) agreed. we haven't got the prettiest record when it comes to big score leads in CL. +1 QUOTE (amancik @ Feb 15 2012, 07:14 PM) Yeah, the match against Deportivo La Coruna still burns at the back of my mind. Let's not get carried away. Sad and true.

Yeah, let's not get carried away, but let's also remember that Estadio Riazor is a hell-hole. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) If Real Madrid couldn't secure a win there in 16 consecutive seasons, well what more is there to be said. Anyway, if Arsenal somehow manage to turn it around in the second leg in a few weeks time, then well played. Credit to them. But for all intents and purposes, we do have 1.85 legs in the quarter-finals. (IMG: style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Statistically speaking, of course!

QUOTE (William405 @ Feb 16 2012, 06:29 AM) Well,it's certainly better than playing Madrid or Chelsea. If Chelsea and us make it through, they'd be on my wish list for the quarter finals. They've just been p!ss poor this season. And it would be oh so satisfying to knock 2 English Clubs out of the competition

Yeah, the English sides left in the CL are far weaker than those who went out, which is quite ironic really. Wouldn't be surprised to see Chelsea falter at this stage too.

Well, with all due respect, I'm not gonna be that careful because I have confidence in our team now that we've surprised everyone with that 4-0. This is not Carletto, who used to do once in two years such a mess. Allegri knows a good CL season is all what he needs and I'm positive he's wise enough to create the right mindset for our team.
