Haha, Pippo couldn't dribble long before 38.

QUOTE (X-Offender @ Jan 30 2012, 11:43 PM) No disrespect to Pippo the legend, but who would be interested in a 38-y-o player that can't even dribble anymore? I think the only thing that deserted him is the one thing that made him Pippo, his finishing. Without it he has nothing as that was his biggest asset. He was never a dribbler, a passer, someone who dropped deep for the ball

Always imagined his 200th Milan appearance differently, but heck, congrats to Superpippo anyway!

Well this is rather expected .. Was I Inzaghi, I would do a Tevez on Allegri.
Not only is he one of my all-time favorites, I love this player to no ends. Sure he is 38, he has nothing more to add to an already bolstered front-line, but he is Super Pippo. The one we, Milan Fans, look too when the going got tough. He produced magic in that 18-yard box and no one can compare to his predatory instincts.
Allegri has done wrong, Ronaldinho I don't really care about ... But Inzaghi is a different matter all together. I go to Milan games, where Pippo doesn't even make the bench and the Curva almost always chant his name, I look at the by-line to see if he is warming up .. But no, it is out of affection for this champion which Allegri chooses to disgrace by sending in for a measly 1.5mins.
It surely is hard-times for this champion of ours, a player who I hold fond memories of. A player who made Champions League taste differently for me. I awaited his return from injury, I chocked on the fact Allegri excluded him from his most preferred competition eluding myself that the likes of Maxi Lopez were better suited ... But 1.5 mins and in extra time?
There is no justification and I doubt Allegri could give a ****.

QUOTE Pippo Inzaghi is almost certain to end his Milan career this summer, but as his brother confirms, not his playing career.
Inzaghi, who will be 39 by the start of next season, has barely featured for the Rossoneri this season, having struggled for fitness and then to convince Coach Massimiliano Allegri of more playing time.
With Pippo set to leave the club this summer, his brother Simone, a retired striker and now Coach of the youth team at Lazio, has revealed that this doesn’t spell the end of his playing career.
“Pippo has made history with Milan and is genuinely impacted by his departure,” reflected Simone Inzaghi to Tuttomercatoweb.
“He is grateful to the Rossoneri for what they have done, but I think there is also gratitude from the club and the fans for him too.
“Pippo is still physically fit and knows he can play on for a couple more years. Managed in the right way he can still give so much to football.
“This year he had expected to play a bit more, but saying that, he was recovering from a very bad injury.
“He’s not decided on his future yet, but he is aware that he can still give so much to the game.”
